An 18th-century former monastery built around a courtyard, now the Mabre Residence Hotel, an elegant property set within one kilometre of the Old Town and Cathedral. The 41 guestrooms are traditionally decorated with patterned fabrics and wood furnishings. Modern amenities include complimentary wireless Internet, cable television, direct-dial phones, hair dryers, coffee/tea makers, hair dryers, minibars and desks.
The hotel restaurant, Steakhouse Hazienda, serves a range of international and Lithuanian dishes, with an extensive selection of wines and beers, in a relaxed, rustic setting. Guests can work out in the fitness room, relax in the indoor pool, and pamper themselves in the beauty centre which offers a hair salon, sauna, and massage, aromatherapy and cosmetic treatments. Business guests can use the meeting room, and there is complimentary wireless Internet access. Further practical amenities include a 24-hour front desk, safe-deposit boxes, room service, dry cleaning facilities and complimentary parking onsite. The hotel is in a good position for exploring the city and surroundings; Bernardine and St Anne's Churches and the Church of the Holy Mother of God are all within 50 metres, the Higher Castle Museum is one kilometre away, and the National Museum and Vilnius University are within two kilometres. Vilnius International Airport is eight kilometres from the hotel, approximately 15 minutes by car.
