    "Definitely needs an up-grade"

    This hotel has definitely seen better days. Our room looked out at an almost solid concrete wall 3 feet away. The waterspout in the bathtub was loose and coming out of the wall of the shower where the plaster was disintegrating. We waited almost 30 minutes to check in with just one person ahead in the queue. Apparently there was a technical problem. Our martini in the bar was watered down and insipid...and expensive. We were fortunate to find the London Hong Kong Mandarin Restaurant 5 minutes walk away and had an excellent meal there rather than trying the hotel's fare. The hotel fire alarm went off twice, once in the middele of the night briefly and again at 6.30am with an urgent announcement to vacate the hotel. I phoned the lobby and was told to ignore the alarm and the annouincement but no follow-up announcement was ever made. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.
