Location. Hotel Brunelleschi in Milan, Italy, features a glass and steel facade 250 meters from La Scala Opera. Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele are 250 meters from the hotel and the fashion district ofr Monteanapoleone is 900 meters away. The nearest airport is Milan Linate, approximately seven kilometers away.

Hotel Features. Across the Piazza Duomo on a quiet side street, the Hotel Brunelleschi's lobby's features marble floors and brass and marble columns. The lobby's lounge area features leather sofas. Complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a 24-hour front desk are included in the hotel amenities.

The Bar dei Cristalli features a piano and specialty cocktails. Le Volte brasserie serves Italian meat and fish dishes. The hotel's four meeting rooms can accommodate between 10 and 40 people. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee.

Guestrooms. The six-story Hotel Brunelleschi's 122 guestrooms have pastel-colored decor with wood paneling and Oriental-style wall tapestries. Cherry wood is featured in the guestrooms furniture. All rooms feature amenities that include minibars and in-room safes. Marble bathrooms in colors of the sea, have granite-topped surfaces and shower/tub combinations with handheld showers. High-speed Internet access is available.

Expert Tip. One of Milan's main events is the Milan Fashion Week, held every February. The event introduces the Autumn and Winter trends for the year. Labels such as Gucci, Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, and Prada, are only a handful of the participants in the various fashion shows. The shows are by invitation only, but visitors will have a good time encountering various fashion icons roaming the streets of Milan.
