Agape Aparthotel - Budapeštas

More of a serviced apartment then a hotel but great location. Friendly staff at a good price

Once we figured out how to get to this location, it turned out it was in a happening place in Budapest. The room was actually in a condo, and there was quite time that helped keep the noise down.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Agape Apartment Hotel in Budapest. The hotel has several signs, but a locked front door. Page the apartment office on the intercom, and they'll buzz you in and direct you to the office. The pleasant girl working the desk will want your "voucher". We gave a print-out of the Hotels.com reservation and she was satisfied. She will also want 3000 HuF ($15 equivalent) for a key deposit. Two very modern glass elevators take you to your floor, in a building shared with a couple of other apartment agencies. Tap a light switch to turn on the hallway light timer (one switch outside every door, with a doorbell opposite). Our apartment was a two story affair, with open staircase at one end going to a loft bedroom, and one additional bedroom. A full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs. Downstairs was a fully equipped kitchen (refergerator, microwave, cooktop, coffeemaker, utensils), with dining table and additional sleeping for 2, making the total beds 6. There was also a large balcony opening to the somewhat attractive courtyard. We were an easy walk to a large supermarket, many restaurants, and the Blaha Lujza Ter metro station (M2 Line). But, the main street outside our alley, Rakoczi Ut, was quite walkable and leads all the way to the center of Pest, and continues to the Erzebet Hid (Danube river bridge). All in all, we had an excellent time!

Pizza King restaurant opposite, offering tasty italian at very affordable prices - 4 to 5 pounds a family size pizza, 2.50 - 3 pounds pasta dish whilst rate approx 300 Forint to the pound. Cheap bar also close - ideal for students. Metro very close, though we walked most of the time. Easy to get around, strongly recommended appartments, ours was two tiered

The place was bigger than expected. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location in Central Pest is also excellent as it was a nice walk toward Deak Ference Ter (station) - and just generally a really good place to stay. I would definitely go back to this apartment/hotel!

I booked 2 apartments in this block. I have to say i was a bit unsure about them when i booked them, mearly from the pictures of the outside of the apartment block. I was exreemely pleasently surprised. The apartments were very big, extreemely clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. I honestly couldnt fault it on any level. They are 1 minutes walk from the metro, mcDonnalds and burger king. There are also trams running near it too. This is an extreemely cheap city. We went to the supermarket and bought fresh rolls, ham, cheese, milk, tea etc, to have in the room, but to be honest, its extreemely cheap to eat out either so we just used the stuff we bought as snacks. There is loads to see in Budapest, we constantly used the metro and it took us everywhere, fast!.

Agape hostel was a real find. Really good value and the apartment was very spacious and new as the building is only a couple of years old. Great for long stays or those on a budget. The only thing is it is a little bit hard to find reception on arrival. You have to make your way up to the first floor and find the right room. Very close to metro and trams.

Very spacious room with comfortable bed. Bit noisy at night due to people shouting in the street. Good service from recetion.

Ett perfekt lägenhetshotell i centrum av Budapest. Nära till tunnelbana och köpcentrum. Bra inomhusparkering i källaren. Lägenheten var väldigt "funkis"

Veludstyrede lejligheder til overkommelig pris. Fin beliggenhed i gåafstand fra Donau og seværdigheder. Dog var der ikke gjort rent efter håndværkere i lejligheden, der var murstensstøv i hele lejligheden - derfor den dårlige karakter for renhed.

velice příjemný hotel s výhodnou polohou 3 minuty od stanice metra, světlý vzdušný pokoj, perfektně vybavený.

L'hotel est bien situé, à quelques minutes du métro. Le centre ville est à 10minutes à pied. Toutes les commodités se trouvent à coté du métro.

Bien situé proche transports, quartier vivant et pratique pour s' approvisionner. Chambre,cuisine et salle de bains modernes et bien équipées. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter, une bonne adresse à prix très raisonnables.

Hôtel bien situé, en plein centre ville, ce qui permet de visiter à pied et de profiter des rues piétonnes.Il permet aussi de se faire à manger, car il est bien équipé ( frigo, micro-ondes, cafetière, grille pain et cuisinière)Beaucoup de place pour ranger ses affaires.Question propreté, il ne faut pas trop regarder dans les coins. Le personnel est assez accueillant.Pour le bruit, si on a la chance d'être dans une chambre donnant sur la cour intérieure, pas de bruit, donnant dans la rue, c'est autre chose.

Excellent situation de l'hôtel

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe vom Bahnhof Keleti pu. Unser Appartment war sehr gemütlich und hatte alles, was man brauchen könnte, außer vielleicht Korkenzieher :) Große separate Küche mit Geschirr, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kühlschrank, Herd und Schränken. Sehr gemütliches Zimmer mit einem großen bequemen Bett und einem ausklappbaren Sofa, so dass man sogar Platz für Gäste hat. Fernseher, Tisch und Kleiderschrank waren auch dabei. Badezimmer war auch gross, mit einer Badewanne und sogar einem Haartrockner. Handtücher wurden leider nicht täglich gewechselt, aber jeden zweiten Tag.

The hotel is very well situated to be within walking distance from a lot of sights and also well situated regarding public transportation. I stayed for a week and not once within this week was my room cleaned. But it was in a nie condition and I enjoyed my stay, I will probably return to this hotel. There is some street noise during the night.

L'hotel est tres bien situé à proximité du centre de Budapest. La chambre était grande, propre et bien agencée, avec pas mal d'équipement pratique (cuisine avec frigo, cafetière, four micro onde...). L'endroit est calme, les chambres bien isolées, idéal pour tous:famille ou groupe d'amis. Le lit était confortable. Le personel d'accueil était agréable et a répondu à nos questions. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

Rymligt och modern men något opersonligt.

Som en mindre lägenhet på typ 45 kvadrat med stor balkong, tvättmaskin, badkar, kök med spishäll. VÄldigt prisvärt och bra faktiskt i ett bra område, sjunde distriktet.
