Boutique Hotel Zara - Budapeštas

This hotel was beautifully decorated in both the public areas and the rooms, which had a good-sized comfortable bed and excellent use of space and well-functioning air-conditioning. However, there were no chairs in the room, just a stool under the desk/dressing table. Not enough space. Suitcases needed to be stored under the bed. The impression was damaged only by rather inadequate, frayed towels. Despite the location just off the main tourist shopping street, it was quiet. It is also very close to the central market, an excellent place for shopping. Included breakfast was good. Staff were helpful.

Small room and bathroom. In a good neighborhood. The breakfast was ok, it can get crowded. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. My only real complaint is the walls are very thin. You can hear people leaving their rooms, watching tv, talking.

The front desk people are first rate here. This hotel cares about its guests. There were umbrellas for customers. They provided complementry lemonaid for guests coming back after hot day of sight seeing. Breakfast was very nice with espresso, eggs, fruit and more. Weaknesses were room size and housekeeping. Room was cruise cabin size. Yet,air conditioning was nice. Shelves needed dusting before unpacking clothes. Tea sat over a day in room and then left in hallway for another day.

Great hotel, good recommendations for dinner, good breakfast. afternoon refresshments of homemade lemonade was a really nice touch. The only thing was the noise from other rooms

Nice room, good simple breakfast, great location within walking distance to Farmer's Market and the tourist traps. I would stay again.

Well sized rooms, with good facilities, and a nice hotel interior. Free wired internet in rooms. A LAN cable for the internet will be provided for free if you don't have one.

I was a little reserved about booking based on other reviews, but the hotel was very nice. The staff had great English and were always courteous and helpful. Internet in the roon required an ethernet cord, but the hotel provided one at no cost (as long as it was returned). The walls are a bit thin, but i was so tired it didn't matter.

We were a little worried about some reports on Hotel Zara ie the walls were very thin in the rooms but we didnt have a problem yes we could hear a liitle noise from next door. The hotel is ideally situated for everything in central Budapest. There is some building work going on next door but they are not allowed to start until 10.00am so it wasnt a problem at all. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was a buffet but sufficent for us. As for Budapest it was lovely plenty to do and lots of lovely restaurants and people very helpful. We had lovely time and would definately go back to Budapest and Zara Hotel.

The hotel is in a good location at the bottom end of Vaci Utca, and also close to the River Danube. Hotel pleasant. Rooms small but nicely furnished and comfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days in April '08. The room is a bit small which is my only complaint, but you're in your room so little anyway. Our rental car unfortunately broke down in Budapest so that was a complete nightmare, but the staff was so helpful. They also let us make long distance calls from the desk (the car was rented in the Czech republic) and helped us translate. The hotel itself is a nice and trendy boutique hotel, very clean, excellent breakfast with an espresso machine, they lend out laptops to use in the lobby if you need internet access. It is a bit more south than most of the sites and restaurants that we went to so walking was about 15-20 minutes to most areas. The metro is also about a 5-10 min walk. It's a short walk to the Elizabeth bridge and lots of restaurants nearby.

Hotell Zara er et fint hotell med god service og hyggelig atmosfære. Sentral beliggenhet. Anbefales!

Fräscht och prydligt boutiquehotell med bra standard på lokalerna, rent och välvårdat. Fräsch frukostbuffe om än inte överdådig som på större hotell. Trevlig bar i atriumgården och hjälsam och trevlig personal som förstår engelska bra. Lugnt läge, får du rum mot atriumgården så är det knäpptyst på natten. Rummet mycket trevligt, något trångt men mysigt och fint inrett, mycket sköna sängar. Receptionspersonalen var effektiv vid in/ut-checkning och mycket hjälpsam med att boka utfärder och ge besökstips.

Sehr zentrales Hotel gleich an der Fussgängerzone (Vaci Ut.) Zimmer etwas klein aber alles vorhanden was man braucht.Zimmer zum Hinterhof absolut ruhig.

Hotel bien situe car il est dans la vieille ville en face des bains Gellert et en bas de la rue Vaci. On peut commencer une balade le long du Danube a partir de l'hotel. Accueil sympathique, petit dej OK, style moderne et assez joli, mais aucune insonorisation. Alors deja l'immeuble a cote est en gros chantier donc le matin a partir de 9am il y a le marteau piqueur, et en plus l'insonorisation entre les chambres est inexistante !! Vous entendez le voisin du dessus faire tomber ses clefs, le voisin de gauche eternuer etc... Bref ne comptez pas sur pouvoir dormir un peu le matin !

Personnel attentionné - Bonne situation de l'hôtel - Les chambres sont propres - L'ensemble de l'hôtel aussi - Les chambres sont confortables, petites mais bien équipées - Salle de douche agréable - Petit Déj buffet très bien - Bar sympa (bons vins) - Seul défaut : les chambres sont mal insonorisées, on entend la télé dans la chambre voisine - Remarque : Les photos sur le site sont représentatives.

Perfekt läge, lugnt och tyst utan trafik. Just nu dock ombyggnation i huset intill. Utpräglad nybarock i stilen genomgående. Rent, snyggt. Frukost ok. Bra pris med aktuell rabatt.

L'hotel est bien situé, proche du métro Kalvin, des magasins et des restaurants, le personnel prend soin du client, les chambres sont propres, la déco est disign Par contre je pensais qu'elle allait être plus spacieuse.

Bra hotell med perfekt beliggenhet, men veldig lytt så kjærestepar bør kanskje tenke på det....

Ett modernt och fräscht hotell med utmärkt service och trevlig personal. Enda minuset var att det saknades bacon till frukosten, men det kan man leva med;-) Hotellet ligger ett stenkast från Saluhallen, gågatan ligger om hörnet och några minuter från Donau.

Et tiltalende hotell med hyggelige rom. Ba om et rom for ikke-røyk, men fikk et rom som luktet askebeger. Byttet deretter rom, men de "glemte" å gi beskjed om at det foregikk omfattende arbeid i nabogården på den siden av hotellet. Dette arbeidet startet mellom 0715 og 0815, selv om vi ble lovet at det ikke skulle starte før tidligst 0900. Da vi på nytt ba om rombytte, hadde de ingen mulighet til å endre dette. Her burde avtaler med naboen vært bedre, romprisene betydelig nedsatt og det burde vært opplyst om dette på forhånd. Servicen på hotellet var helt ok, selv om de kanskje kunne virke litt avvisende og lite åpne. Dette kunne selvsagt være pga dårlige engelskunnskaper blandt de ansatte der.

Die Angestellten sind ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer nicht sehr gross, aber für einen Business-Trip reicht es alle mal. Die Zimmer sind sauber und wirken neu. Das Buffet könnte etwas reichhaltiger sein, aber auf Anfrage hin ist das Personal bemüht, dem Gast die Wünsche zu erfüllen.
