Le Ville del Lido - Venice

I think this may be the best place on Lido. Fantastic pool, you get your own apartment, and you can cook an Italian dinner in your own kitchenette after a pleasant walk downtown to the market.

AMAZING STAY. Carlo at the front desk provided excellent service, and speaks good English. Lido is amazing. The best way to explain the stay would be Relaxing. Great pool, right next to the beach, and located in an amazing location. Lido is 15 minutes from Venice by water taxi and 35 minutes away from the train station, but it is DEFINITELY worth the distance for the relaxation and quiet. The tourists become very annoying in Venice. Highly recommended.

This hotel is on a separate island than the main plaza of Venice which is so nice because it is much less crowded and it has the small town feel. The island is gorgeous and we had a very good time at this hotel. No complaints what so ever, the rooms are very nice and very clean.

Le Ville del Lido is great. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The location is perfect. You can walk to the ferry to Venice along the beautiful shopping/restaurant street. The beach is right across the street and their pool and lounge area was wonderful. We were with 3 kids (2 adults) and found that the livingroom was on the small side. The kitchen was very basic so don't expect to do much cooking, but of course that's a good thing. The only thing I would suggest to this hotel is to vary the breakfast a bit. It's a great place to stay while visiting Venice.

If you don't want to be in the hussle and bussle of Venice, then this hotel is perfect, especially if you have a family. Only a 10 minute water bus ride from St Mark's Sq is the Lido. A further 10 walk will take you to this lovely hotel, where you have a very nice pool and even a sandy beach 25m away. It was hard getting the kids out of the pool. For the same price of a small room in the city, we got a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with pool at the Lido di Venice.

This hotel fulfilled all our requirements. It was modern, it had ample space (not usually a European feature) and it was just a few minutes walk from the water taxis that took us anywhere in Venice. We had all the benefits of a trip to Venice, without any of the crowds. A great alternative.

Sauber, ordentlich, am Ende der Saison sah man allerdings deutliche Gebrauchsspuren. Der Pool ist prima für Kinder geeignet, auch abgesperrtes Gelände.

Hotel superbe, très propre, bien situé, pas loin de l'embacadère (7 min à pied)ou bus devant l'hotel pour le vaporetto à 15 min de la place de St.Marco par le vaporetto appartement très grande et très propre, personnel très gentil et accueillant. Nous etions obligés de quitter l'hotel tot le matin avant l'ouverture de la salle du petit dejeuner. L'hotel nous a apporté le petit dejeuner dans notre appartement.Très bien!! très bien pour un voyage avec des enfants, piscine chauffée sur place!!

Hotel très sympa et très bien pour les familles. 2 chambres et 2 SDB. Un peu loin du centre. Billets pour vaporetto sont hors de prix! Difference de prix de l'hotel à Lido et Venise même peut être négligable à cause de ceci. Cela dit, chambre très spacieuse avec coin cuisine. Pas certain que ca se trouve à Venise.
