Had great decor, good location, etc. However, breakfast and internet connection were not included in the price.

Vincci Arena is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, with easy access to 3 metro stops- Tarragona, Espanya and Sants-Barcelona. We normally went to the Espanya one, which then gets you anywhere you want to go. The hotel is modern, sleek, stylish. The beds are so comfortable and the twin room we stayed in, had loads of storage space for 2 people. The staff were helpful and friendly. One of the receptionists recommended a nice restaurant just across Expo Hotel , and that was one of the best tapas we've had. Prices of drinks and food at the hotel were reasonable, not exorbitant. There wasn't a lot of nice restaurants to eat within the immediate area but you could walk to diagonal and go into the little streets,where you can find some little places to eat.

Cant complain about the nice room i had, very clean and comfortable. But as soon as you ask reception for service, city-guidance or anything else you will be disappointed. Only when you ask for top management assistance things will be solved.

The Vincci Arena is a modern well furnished and well ran hotel however it is let down by the location. It is near to the Metro station and the entrance to Mountjuic Park however the street it is located in is a bit of a dump with building work starting very early each morning. There is also a lot of road noise as it is near to a main road (7 lane roundabout). Staff are very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast is good value for money.

The Vincci Arena is within easy walking distance of Barcelona Sants and the Plaza Espana metro. Nice location with cafes close by and easy metro access to the Barri Gotic. The holiday weekend and a Barca victory over Real meant a couple of noisy nights but we would stay again!

Our room was on the sixth floor at the back of the hotel so no road noise. The room was modern, just about enough room to move, plenty of storage and although it had a very sophisticated lighting system, certain areas of the room still remained very dark. The double bed was two singles pushed together but lovely and firm. Very nice sheets but I found pillows uncomfortable despite the hotel boasting of a "pillow menu". We would like to have had bathrobes and slippers. Not much to watch on the flat screen TV unless you wanted to pay. Bathroom very clean and modern and well lit. Shower not very powerful but passable and the toilet flushed with hot water! Towels hard but clean. Cleaning was good except there was a tear in one of the curtains which had been stapled together and then stuck with sellotape! The hallways were always far too hot and the room air conditioning took too long to cool the room but got there eventually. There was the usual mini bar which we did not use as nothing in it seemed very cold at all. The hotel is very dimly lit in the common parts especially the stairways and there are no markings on the edge of the stone steps so it is difficult to see where they end. I missed my footing on the penultimate step on one of the flights and fell heavily and painfully on the stone floor. Luckily I hadn't broken anything. Anyway, if you do decide to be "healthy" and use the stairs do take the utmost care.

The Vincci had a very cool modern design and reasonably sized rooms. it is near placa espanya, which is a little far from the tourist areas, but we really liked the local feel. A lot of good food nearby and the metro system is super easy and convenient.

Modern hotel that goes with the overall ambiance of the city. Rooms very clean and very modern features in bathroom and room (lights wer very impresiive). Excelent location with excellent transaport and at a short distance of the main touristic places. There is a wonderful cafe opposite to the hotel in case you would not like to pay the expensive breakfast at the hotel. Near station for airbus that goes to the airpot which was very handy.

This is the first time I've stayed in this hotel, having stayed in the Princess on my two previous trips to Barcelona, and I was very impressed. It's modern, clean and very comfortable and the staff are very helpful. The best thing about this hotel is its location - you are a 2-3 minute walk to the Espanya metro station, from which you can easily get to all major attractions of the city, and you are also then only 5ish minutes from Catalunya. There are some lovely cafes on the walk from the hotel to Espanya metro for breakfast (just be careful as someone tried to steal my bag in one of them!). I would definitely use this hotel again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, several of them speak 4 languages (spanish, english, french and german) Rooms very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in 5 min walking distance from major tube station which make acess to all sites very easy. Would happily recommend a stay.

the hotel was below our expectations - tiny room with fancy but inconvenient furniture; no ac in the lobby; no change of sheets in 3 days; and 30 min late with wake up call; wouldn't stay there again

This was a great hotel - very modern, friendly staff, and very close to the Metro station. The neighborhood is up and coming and we didn't see a lot of restaurants or shops, but you can tell this area will be a hot spot soon. The detail in the design of the hotel was amazing. Lots of space for storage and a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for a clean, safe, stylish hotel at a mid-range price.

My Mom and I recently stayed at this hotel for our annual vacation and loved it! The location is a bit off the beaten path but within quick/easy walking distance to 2 metro stops. It is within walking distance to many bakery and coffee shops, restaurants, a lovely park, and the Montjuic Magic fountains and sites in that area. The cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff were refreshing and just what we were looking for. We loved the room and its modern style, comfy beds, and plenty of storage space for our 'stuff'. The food was great in the on-site dining area, including American style coffee which was hard to find or order in Barcelona. We are not experienced European travelers and the staff at the hotel helped us locate metro stops, highlight places on our map to see, sold us tickets for the bus tour and provided options for airport travel and more. They were so nice and greeted us everytime we came or went. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone and would definitely stay there again!! It is convenient and easy to get around yet not in the busy, noisy mix of the downtown Rambla area. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood when we came back each night and always felt safe walking from the Espanya or Hostfrancs metro stops at night.

The big draw for this hotel is the location. We came down to do the Barcelona marathon and the hotel was located one block from the start and finish lines at Planca de Espanya, so the location was perfect for us. Also, if you're planning on taking the train to other parts of Cantalonia or arriving by Metro from the airport, the main train station (Barcelona Sanz) is just 5-6 blocks away. The city center, where most of the shopping, museums and restaurants are located, is a couple of Metro stops away. So you'll have to ride the Metro a lot, which was no problem for us. Hotel is very modern and had all the amentities you would expect a 1st class hotel to have. The staff was friendly and spoke english. The was no concierge or tourist info at the hotel so you'll have to get that information at the city center. The hallways smelled a little smoking, but the room was good (it seems that everyone in Europe smokes, so it wasn't that bad). Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I would come back again.

The location of the hotel was good as it was very close to the metro st which is only a few stops away from all the main attractions in the city centre, however we felt that the hotel was ridiculously expensive. Having paid the price we paid for the room in a four star hotel you would expect something in return but everything we needed was to be paid on top. For example the hotel refused to provide us with an iron to iron our clothes and insisted we give them to the laundry services to have them ironed which needed to be paid for ofcourse (with an additional fee if we needed them back that same day) another example is the internet access -fair enough they stated that you have to pay if you want access from your own room, but did not state that you still pay a fee if you want to use it from the lobby. There is no concierge in particular, just a receptionist who can answer your questions for you. The room was nice and modern with good lighting but small and a little cramped as the bed takes up all the space in the room. Overall it was a good stay because we would only go back to the hotel to sleep (bare in mind they only had spanish & german channels on tv, nothing in english). So if your looking for a hotel which is very close to city center only to sleep in - this is the place for you.

What a fab place. Everything was right about it: we loved the decor - very cool, the staff were friendly, the room was really clean and comfortable. Location was perfect too for getting to all the main sites by Metro. It all made our short stay extra special.

Great contemporary hotel. Believe the photos of the rooms on the site, excellent condition, very clean, and 3 minutes walk from Tarragona metro station (L3); which is 10 minutes away from Placa de Catalunya. Gym is quite minimal, but steam room and sauna are available, which are nice to haves. Not important if you want to explore the city. Only downside (if you can consider it a down side), is you have to bring your own iron unless you want to pay for laundry service. Otherwise top notch!

Excellent location, a few steps from the Metro and Bus Stop, restaurants and all types of stores.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel as the room was incredibly comfortable and the staff was very courteous. Immaculately clean and allowed me to relax after a lot of traveling. The only downside was the location of the hotel as it wasn't close to some of the more touristy areas. But it was only a few hundred feet from the Metro so the rest of the city is easily accessible. Highly recommended.

after asking some basic questions about the neighborhood, I lost confidence in the staff's knowledge of the immediate area. I was very disappointed that the rooms did not come equipped with an iron and ironing board and the hotel would not lend one too you. I was not informed until I left that breakfast was included. That put me over the top...

This hotel was beautiful, clean, modern and great for the price. Everything is so new and the location is 5 minutes from Playa espania.

The hotel itself was clean, modern and new...but it was not close to anything....especially not restaurants...there were no decent places to eat near the hotel and their kitchen didn't open till 8:30 p.m. The people were helpful in telling us about the tour buses and where to see a Flamenco Dinner and Show...but everything was far away...especially La Rambla...the street with all the tourish appeal...

I stayed at the Vincci Arena for 4 nights and was quite pleased. The rooms are very nice (i.e. CLEAN), and the staff was awesome. The rooms are equipped with central air that we controlled which was perfect given the time of year. I was really pleased with the location - felt pretty safe and was close enough to the major tourist sites but not so close that one doesn't feel they can properly relax. My one only mild complaint would be that the beds were a bit hard. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay at Vincci again and would recommend to others.

I found this hotel to be quite nice, in a quiet neighborhood and located within easy access to transportation and site-seeing venues.

Nicely located just out of the high rent district, but easy walking distance to transportation.

Very new, clean, modern hotel with very friendly staff. Location was somewhat away from central attractions and shopping but near metro and an easy taxi ride to most things.

The room was clean and roomy. The bath was in great condition and also very clean. I have paid similar prices for rooms usually not nearly as nice.

Excellent hotel w/i walking distance to local transportation. Not a lot of attractions in the immediate neighborhood.

The hotel front desk person spoke english and was helpful when we arrived early on our check-in date.Clean room but the new double glaze window did not reduce the noise from the trafic and late night street activity. Do not purchase from the in-house restaurant, we paid $22 U.S. for two coffee and orange juice, same items $7.00 U.S. at a cafe down the street.

das Vinnci Arena hat seine 4 Sterne verdient, tolle Zimmer, super klimatisiert, ruhig, toller Sevice. Das Frühstück ist seine 9€ wert, klasse Auswahl, top frisch! Die Metro Placa Rspanya ist nur 100m weg, dort kann man alle 3-4min ins Zentrum fahren. Einziger Nachteil: in diesem Viertel habe ich keine tollen Restaurants, dafür aber viele kleine nette "Local Imbiss" gefunden! Ich würde wieder hinfahren!

Albergo davvero bello........pulitissimo e molto silenzioso. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile. L'hotele è praticamente ubicato vicinissimo a Plaza de Espana e sia la fermata della metro (Tarragona) che la stazione centrale, che porta in aeroporto, sono vicinissime! Inoltre in meno di dieci minuti di metro si è in centro, sulla Rambla......e per i ragazzi come me vi è una discoteca a due passi. Davvero soddisfatta.....nel caso in cui tornassi a Barcellona sceglierei nuovamente il Vincci Arena Hotel.

Rent, pent og vennlig

Jättebra hotell, fint och bra placering. Dock var det lite små saker som retade oss. Tex att det kostade pengar att titta på tv. Inte en enda kanal fick man gratis... Sen hörde man hur det skvalade vatten i ledningarna hela tiden. Störde inte vår nattsömn eftersom vi stupade i säng varje kväll. Men det kan för den som är känslig vara mycket irriterande. Trotts detta rekommenderar jag detta hotell, och skulle gärna återvända och bo här.

Die Nähe an der U-bahn Haltestellte ist sehr praktisch, gutes Frühstuck, ruhige Lage, gutes Hotel

Ett fantastiskt bra hotell med superfräscha rum och en jättetrevlig lobby där vi spenderade flera kvällar i baren. Rummet var standardrum med tv och internet möjligheter, badrummet helkaklat med badkar. Luftkonditionering på rummet. Det fanns även ett kassaskåp på rummet som man använde sitt Visa eller liknande för att låsa/öppna (kostar ingenting). Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Det ligger en bit utanför centrum, cirka 30 minuter promenad om man följer Carrer de Arago, men tunnelbanan ligger runt hörnet. Jag ger ett högt betyg till hotellet.
