Europa Royale Vilnius - Vilnius

Our 10 day stay at Europa Royale in Vilnius exceeded expectations. Charming hotel located within walking distance to most sights in Old Town, room size was decent and bathrooms were very clean and updated, front desk helpful, delicious buffett breakfast included. Only complaint would be additional charge for using safe in room. Great value for price and would recommend to others.

Nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the restaurant. Fantastic location in the OLd Town!!!

Vilnius is such a beautiful city, I really resent having to devote time and energy to hotel problems that should have been dealt with by the hotel staff. Summer in Vilnius can be hot, and for that reason I selected an air-conditioned hotel, the Europa Royale. But the air conditioner in my room didn't work. When I was shown two other rooms where the AC supposedly did work, they were hotter than my own room!! So I stayed uncomfortably put. No one ever came to repair the AC in my room. I was given a fan, which caused me sinus headaches on several nights. The room was so small that I had to contort myself -- think Houdini -- to move from one area to another without getting chopped up by the fan. The maids failed to leave an extra roll of toilet paper, so that on my last morning I had to supplement their meagre supply with my own packet of tissues. Although the hotel staff was polite, they were totally ineffectual. Someone should give them a scholarship to hotel management school. I was very glad to check out of the Europa Royale, and on future trips I will avoid it at all costs. Incidentally, I spoke to an American living in Vilnius who told me his father, on a family visit, had stayed in this hotel two weeks earlier -- and the air-conditioner in his room didn't work. So my case is obviously not an isolated one.

Some problems with there not being enough hot water, otherwise they're true to their promise.

Hotell Europa Vilnius, ett 4 stjärnigt hotell. Bokade ett deluxe rum(107), dit fanns ingen hiss utan bara ett trång trappa. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade inte, ingen kyla när det var extremt varmt vid vår vistelse.

Det här hotellet är jag lite tveksam till p g a följande: Vi hade bokat och betalt ca 2 veckor i förväg. Att vi valde detta hotellet berodde på läget mitt i Gamla Stan, samt de bilder på rummen som fanns på nätet. När vi kom dit fick vi ett rum i bv utan fönster, endast en liten glugg mot bakgården, betongväggar utan någon utsmyckning, trasig AC, trasig TV. Knappast 4 stjärnigt. Efter viss påtryckning fick vi byta till ett betydligt trevligare rum, motsvarande reklamen på nätet, dock även det med trasig AC.

Exquisit location and OK hotel facilities.

Et anbefalelsesverdig hotel midt i smørøyet i Gamlebyebn i Vilnius. Sjarmetrende hotell, hyuggelig betjening og god mat. Det eneste minus var manglende "godstoler" på hotellrommet. En "pinnestol" er ikke nok til to.

Bra beliggenhet, god frokost

Topp hotell med meget sentral beliggenhet i Vilnius' gamle bydel. Kort vei til det meste.

Hotellet har idéell beliggenhet i den mest historiske delen av gamlebyen med koselige restauranter og eksklusive butikker rett i nærheten. Grei gåavstand til byens severdigheter. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening i resepsjon og jevnt over god service på hotellet. Bra frokost med godt utvalg i hotellets restaurant i koselige lokaler (forøvrig den eldste restauranten i Vilnius). Bar og stilfull salong. Hadde bestillt businessrom som var stort og svarte til forventningene. Litt "traust" stil på rommene, men rent og pent. Velger nok dette hotellet om jeg reiser til Vilnius igjen!

Det var god service, og stort rom. Koselig hotell i gammlebyen.

Bra service, bra frukost. Receptionen talar bra engelska. Gångavstånd till det mesta i Vilnius gamla stad.
