Hotel Imperator Guadalpin Banus - Marbelja

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay. The Staff were all friendly, efficient and very obliging. We had a fourth (top) floor classic room which had a mountain range view which is more interesting than looking at a pool / sea. TV had BBC, fridge allowed the chilling of brought in drinks, Queen sized bed. Breakfast was buffet style and the best we have experienced. The pool was very relaxing. It was about a fifteen minute walk along the sea path passing a couple of beach bar restaurants to the Marina area. The Hotel is very quiet and relaxing most residents seem to go elsewhere during the evenings

This was our first time in this hotel. Since we are frequent visitors to Marbella, we were familiar with the hotel. Across from beach. Modern rooms, but a bit small. Nice terrace overlooking pool. Great value for money considering not high season. Would stay again.

Do not stay at this hotel, it claims to be a five star but really should be a three. The rooms were horrible and so was the service. It claims to be in Puerto Banus, but its in San Pedro - which is a good 15-20 min walk to Pueto Banus. And no where near the Marbella city center. There is no concierge just a desk with a bunch of pamphlets. Overall, we had a horrible stay and would not recommend this property to anyone.

Nice Hotel, nicley placed, nice beach, superior rooms, and suites are best as the face the sea. Plus the added addition that if you have two room for a family/friends, the rooms can be right next to each other and the patio's can be opened up to each other. We did have to ask at least four times to have the patio doors opened and some extra cups and saucers put in the room. Eventually asking the maid for these things did the trick. The kitchen in the junior suite is very very small, with no kettle or toaster. Furniture and bed very good. BBC 1,2,3,4 and CNN only in English.

the weekend trip was well worth it because of the place and this hotel--i got an upgrade for it

hotel needs updating along with the service, facilities for self catering were also poor

room was smaller than expected, apart from that quite reasonable for a 5 star. Great Italian restruant

The hotel advertises a 5 star rating that it does not deliver. The room was a very small room with enough space for the bed and for one to get around it. There was only one small bar of soap, no ´Kleenex tissue or ´hand lotion. When my wife called to ask if we could get any of these things, the response was that we could only get an additional bar of soap and that the Corte Ingles had an excellent supply of creams and tissues. Not a 5 star hotel.

Overraskende højt niveau. Morgenmaden var outstanding, værelserne pæne, rene og med super havudsigt. Receptionen super behjælpelig med diverse reservationer m.m. kna varmt anbefales.

L'hotel est vraiment sympa, très récent. Les chambres executives sont très biens, bien qu'un peu petites. Mais cela se compense par une superbe terrasse privative. Par contre l'hotel se trouve vraiment dans un coin perdu, c'est pas vraiment Marbella... Donc il faut la voiture pour s'en sortir!
