Suite was very basic. The air conditioning was inadequate.

This suite was absolutely beautiful. The painted frescoes on the ceiling is a really nice touch. Also, the kitchen and the supermarket right down the street made it easy to enjoy a homecooked meal. There were some issues with the hotel, however. First, there is no central air conditioning and the individual wall units do a poor job of cooling the rooms (which have 15' ceilings). There are also no fans, so the rooms get a little stuffy. Because of this, my wife and I were awakened every morning being attacked by mosquitoes....not a comfortable way to wake up. Also the street below tends to be a bit noisy very early in the morning. This is not a place to enjoy late mornings. There is no maid service that cleans your room or takes out your trash, so be prepared to do your own cleaning, washing dishes, etc. (There was no dish soap for the dishwasher, so I guess you are supposed to provide your own.) All in all it was a positive experience, but I would suggest avoiding this hotel in warm weather.

I will most certainly stay here on my next trip to Florence. This was an ideal location as it was close to all of the main attractions yet in a wonderful section of town. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away which made it great to pick up lunch items to have in between visits to museums. We've stayed in Florence many times and never had this great of a room or experience. We had a huge private rooftop terrace in our room which was ideal to have a lunch in the sun or a glass of wine under the stars. The bathroom was HUGE by European or American standards; however, the small shower was dwarfed in the corner which was rather funny. The suite was beautifully furnished and maintained. I have only good things to say about this hotel and I'm a very seasoned traveler.

The apartment was enormous, and with all that you need to self-cater (Supermarket 5 mins away) or to just use as a base. Would recommend this to anyone wishing to be flexible.

We had an upper floor apartment that was very spacious and clean. It had an impressive 4-sided view of Florence. It would be well suited for a longer stay, but we needed only one night. There was not a staff member available for a 9 am checkout so we ended up leaving the key under the mat since we had a train to catch. Although we were provided with shampoo, we did not have any soap or bath gel to use.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel with our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Our 2-BR Suite was spacious, clean, and close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, cafes. Walking distance to the Duomo, Ufizzi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio. The staff was helpful and attentive.

Service was friendly, but not hotel quality. Don't pick this place if you're looking for normal hotel services and amenities -- it's really an appartment not a hotel. If you're staying for a couple of days and have a group of people it's not a bad spot.

This place really fit our needs, but beware, it is far from a standard hotel. This really is a short term appartment, so if you are going to be in Florence for more than a few days, and are looking for a spacious place to stay in, this is for you. This is NOT a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Our suite was clean and large but was sparsely furnished, and certainly did not have the frescoes painted on the ceiling as in the promo pics. There is a full kitchen and a grocery store is a few steps away. The location is pretty good, moments from the Duomo, but a bit of a walk from the train station, so a cab is required if you have large bags. The front desk staff are very helpful, when you can find them.

The location was exceptional, the building historical. Only thing lacking was any kind of room cleaning and linens.

Wonderful option for families with more than 4 people who are looking to stay together rather than split into 2 hotel rooms. Huge apartment, market nearby so actually cooked at home to save money & kids loved it! Close to everything.

We walked to the apartment from the train, only having carry-on sized baggage. The kids didn't mind the walk! We were greeted early at the desk and allowed to check in early despite previous comments indicating lack of front desk presence. The unit was lovely and very spacious for four. Food shopping next door was complete with a deli but we didn't utilize the kitchen complete with stainless appliances and granite countertops! Great location.

My husband and I stayed at this location for 5 days and had a wonderful time.

The hotel "lost" my 2 day reservation, so I had to change rooms. However, both rooms were superb and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are terrific for couples or friends wanting their own space. The hotel is within walking distance of the city hot spots and I enjoyed after minute of it. I would go back for sure.

Very large apartment style room close to the main attractions but off the most heavily traveled streets

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The unit was large and the kitchen was well equipped. Very good grocery store was within two blocks. "Eating in" was a welcome break. Hotel was clean but had some annoying deferred maintenance issues. Biggest complaint was that cooling units were slightly underpowered. Although this was not - I repeat not - a five star property - it completely met our needs, was walking distance to the major attractions and we would both recommend it to our friends and stay here again.

The Hotel is very comfortable and spacious, but the towels smelled bad, the air conditioned was draining water all the time, and the worse was the front desk. we arrived on Sunday at noon, nobody was there, so we called to the phone number showed on the slip, the person answered it and said: I do not work on Sundays, but I will be there by 3PM, to check you in. She came some time before and allowed us to put the luggage in her office, and this gave us the chance to have lunch in a hurry because she would be back again by 3PM . During the check in she gave us a piece of paper with directions for the check out, meaning that instead of the 3PM we had in our contract, it was at not later than 10AM, but she said about the possibility of doing it later, with a previous arrangement but we were unable to find her next day to do it. (we stayed at the Hotel for 2 days), as a consequence we could not go to the museum on Tuesday as planned.

This hotel had nice rooms and a great location. However, upon check-in we found our room had not been cleaned, and the cleaning cart was still there. We went back to the front desk, and it was locked with no one there. Calling the numbers provided for help, no one answered. This was still much earlier than the posted closing time. Upon returning from exploring the city around midnight, we found the cleaning staff inside our room. They questioned us as to why we were there, even though we had a key. At least they did clean the room. When leaving to check out, again there was no one at the desk, even though we were there during the few hours allowed for checkout. This is certainly not the service I would expect from a 5-star rated hotel.

Plenty of space. Furniture and lamps etc a bit dated. Good value for Florence when you need multiple rooms.

We stayed in the 'Botticelli' room, a suite with a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and an amazing Botticelli-esque fresco on the living room ceiling. Great location walking distance to everything in Florence, with window's looking out over a Piazza with an open air antique market.

Our room was very spacious...its more like an apartment. Had 2 full bedrooms, a kitchen, a breakfast area, a huge closet for luggage storage, a living room and dining room area. The hotel staff was fantastic. We will remember this hotel and book again.

Our experience in this 'hotel' was outstanding. A beautiful apartment with 16foot frescoed ceilings, separate equipped kitchen and separate bedroom and bath. The only draw back in our room was that there was a shower and no bath. Perhaps the other suites have a bath. Nonetheless, our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The Suites are located within walking distance of most major sites and museums. There is also a 'supermercato' very close by where it is easy to purchase foodstuffs and wine.

Das "Studio" für 2 Personen, das wir gebucht hatten, hatte nur ein "Fenster" zu einem engen dunklen Schacht, der nack Kloake roch! Nach unserem Protest wurde uns ein anderes, großes (4-6 Personen) Appartment angeboten, das in Ordnung war. Da am Ende kein Aufpreis dafür berechnet wurde, war der Aufenthalt schließlich i.O..

Hôtel propre et confortable, bien situé. L'accueil n'est pas permanent et ne respecte pas obligatoirement les horaires affichés. Pour le reste les chambres sont spacieuses et relativement bien aménagées.

Vi fikk en leilighet i 4.etg. med FANTASTISK utsikt. Den var veldig stor. Vi merket ikke noe fra støy fra gaten eller andre på hotellet. Utrolig sentralt beliggenhet. Fint å kunne lage mat i leiligheten. Gulvene var litt skitne. Men total opplevelsen var veldig bra!!! Vi var to voksne og 2 barn på 12 år.

Vi var en familie på 4 - to voksne og to børn hhv. 16 og 11 år. Vi havde 3 overnatninger. God plads og højt til loftet. Næsten herskabeligt. Godt køkken. God beliggenhed i gåafstand til centrum (ca 10 min. ad en dejlig gade med hyggelige butikker). Fin service mht. oplysninger om gode restauranter.

Lite problem innan vi fick vår lägenhet. Tjejen i reseptionen påstod att vi bara skulle vara två personer. Men vi hade med papper på att vi bokat för två vuxna och ett barn på 6 år. Hon ville ge oss ett rum med en säng till alla tre. Jag sa då att vi skulle ringa Hotel.com vilket snabbt fick henne att ändra sig och vi fick en helt underbar lägenhet. Vi stannade 3 nätter och allt var toppen.

ottimo residence, posizionato al centro con garage interno. Gli appartamenti sono belli. La colazione si fa al bar vicino. Unica nota stonata: avevo prenotato due camere per due famiglie per un totale di otto persone e ci hanno dato un'unico appartamento (6+2) un po stretto per otto persone; avremmo preferito due camere separate, ma trattandosi di una sola notte ho lasciato perdere ma la mia prenotazione era stata chiara. Quindi in generale un bel residence ma non tutto è andato per il verso giusto.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk ud til et hyggeligt lille torv og meget centralt. Fantastisk hyggeligt i italiensk stil. Men mere at betragte som hotellejlighed end traditionel hotel. God for en børnefamilie!! Og kun 5 min. fra en lille park med legeplads.

A NE PAS METTRE EN 5 * mais en résidence de tourisme avec location d'appartements

Vi skulle sove hver for sig pga. den enes hoste. Masser af plads, fint nok. På alle andre punkter højst tre stjerner.
