Hotel Venezia - Mestre

Arrived in the dark amid much construction, but the service was well worth the hassle of finding the hotel.

I chose this hotel to sightsee in Venice. There is a bus around the corner that takes you to the heart of the city in 20 minutes and a supermarket across the street. They have a gated garage if you need to park your car. The hotel has that antique interior look that tries to show off its heritage of the statues and paintings. Room had a balcony overlooking the driveway. The shower in the bathroom fitted in the corner with no enclosure from the sink and toilet. Other rooms I peeked into did have a curtain. Essentially its a shower head with a drain in the corner, not like your traditional US style shower stalls. It was a little odd a first because the toilet was too close for my personal space in the already cramped bathroom. The beds were a little smaller than a twin bed, if you are over 6ft it may not fit comfortably. Its also a tad slanted but didn't make you slide off, a bit uncomfortable. There was no hot breakfast, only danishes, tea, coffee, juice. Would recommend if you don't mind the odd looking hotel with a weird shower.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The reception area is amazingly over the top and kitsch, lots of gold/mirrors etc.. hilariouse. My room was tiny but it was clean and had every thing I needed encluding a safe locker, plus a private balcony with views to the mountains. The breakfast was fine and also provided me for my pack lunch for the day (hey I was traveling cheap) it consisted of a selection of bread rolls ham and cheese, a sweet pastry, yoghurt, fruit, cereal coffee/tea. It was really easy to get to Venice from this hotel the bus was only one Euro and ran regularly from a stop around the corner. I would recommend it if you need a cheap hotel.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed took up most of the available space, but we were only there to sleep. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was figuring the bus route to and from Venice. The ride itself takes only 30 minutes and ends where you can purchase tickets for the many vaporetto rides through the canals. We enjoyed exploring the nearby shops and found a nice area where there had been a festival the previous day.

The hotel was definitely dated.

Ottima posizione per i collegamenti con Venezia, comodo soprattutto per chi viaggia in auto in quanto il parcheggio gratuito è proprio di fronte l'hotel. Staff professionale e disponibile, possibilità di acquistare i biglietti del bus direttamente in reception. Ottima colazione. Camere insonorizzate.

Ett trevligt hotell med perfekt läge och fina förbindelser med Venedigs centrum. Det finns buss strax utanför hotellet. På tjugo minuter är man inne i Venedig. Rummen är fina med luftkonditionering. Bra frukost.

Nice room at a fair price located in the center of Mestre-Venice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best of recommendations from us!

Hotel ist vollkommen ok für einen Kurztrip nach Venedig. Angenehm ist, dass man das Auto direkt beim Hotelparkplatz sicher und kostenlos abstellen kann.

Très pratique pour visiter Venise, personnel très agréable. Un peu difficil d'acces car travaux ds la ville...
