Solvasa Barcelona - Barselona

Very modern hotel with excellent facilities for the business traveller - free wifi, conference rooms, wide variety of decent breakfast food & good bar area! Excellent large bedrooms with fabulous walk-in shower room with power shower at a decent height ( I am 6'3") Downside was noisy aircon/heating system and no English speaking TV channel. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel was modern & very clean. It is a little out of the way from downtown Barcelona. We walked about 2 blocks to the bus stop & were able to go to the tourist areas in under 30 minutes. However, it was close enough to the airport & the cruise port to make it more economical from that vantage point. Our suggestion for improvement - turn on the air conditioning when they know that a room is going to be occupied that night. It took a very long time for the room to cool to a comfortable temperature. Also, the beds are board hard.

Great hotel overall, but it's far from downtown and there's no public transportation around. OK if you are renting a car.

Hotel: Located near close to the Airport, but no airplane noise. Room was clean, lightly decorated. Bathroom is mostly glass - very nice. Bed was almost floor hard (my only complaint.) Hard wood floors, with good size room. Hotel is designed in a triangle shape, with an open air design that allows you to see to the top floor from the check in desk. If your flight is leaving hours after check out, they will hold your luggage behind the desk after you check out. NO in room coffee pot. Getting there: From the airport, take bus 46, and get off at Gran Via (look for the BMW dealership, if you pass IKEA, you missed it.) Or, take the train and get off at Bellvitge, go over the bridge, and walk about 4 blocks away from the rails. From Plaza de Espana, you can take the subway train to Europa (this is separate from the subway, but a 'combination' ticket can be used for this train.) Again, ask for IKEA and you'll find it. Near the hotel: There is a supermarket within walking distance in a very nice shopping mall one block past IKEA for supplies. There is also a Burger King, KFC, and other eating places there. Breakfast at the hotel is 13 Euros per person if not included with reservation. (as of 12/07)

points positifs : -prix -accueil et service -personnel -confort, design points négatifs: _rasoir fourni non hydratant... _le gout du dentifrice _odeur des toilettes bref, meilleur rapport qualité prix rencontré.

vom flughafen nur 15min entfernt; vom plaza de espana auch nur 20 min mit dem Bus. sauber, modern; wer nicht viel wert auf innenstadtlage lägt, fährt hier recht gut

Ottimo per raggiugere il centro con un auto a disposizione , circa 10 minuti! La 1° colazione non è inclusa e costa 14 euro a persona anche se è abbondantissima.

E' qualcosa di incredibile, è perfetto
