There was a cockroack outside of my door. It took awhile to open the door with the door keycards. The room carpet was dirty. The bed was hard and the room had a slight odor to it. The bathroom was old and there was no bathroom fan. Beside that good and convenient location to disneyland and other main streets. It has good parking. No elevators to the room which has 3 levels, stairs only.

After reading previous reviews I was a little worried about what I'd be walking into being how I don't travel often but I was very pleased with the hotel, the room, and the amenities that were included and my kids loved it. We were all able to really relax and enjoy ourselves. Since we were there to move my son into his college dorm at CSU Long Beach and we live in Modesto we really needed to save some money on the hotel stay to put towards more important things. We will definately be booking a room there in the future when ever we go down to visit his.

We choose the hotel because of the convience of it being so close to the Convention Center but after staying we would rather have stayed somewhere else even if it was further! First of all the teenager working the desk seemed uninterested and unfriendly. Then after giving us our electronic keys, we went to the room which was located in the back corner and the doors surrounding had paint pealing. The keys would no work with the access swipe and we had to return to the front desk three times, each time explaining that the door would not open. The woman at the desk only gave us a bored look and tried reprogramming the keys, never once offering to come to the actual room with us. Of the four card keys they ended up giving us, only two worked buy on-and-off at that. Sometimes it took 5 to 6 swipes to actually get the door open. And the door only shut properly when slammed. Second, while the room was clean and smelled nice, there was damage to the furniture, doors and bathroom area. Paint was pealing, part of the bedside table had missing panels, several parts of the bathroom counter looked unfinished or damaged and the shower sprayed very strongly and the water was never hot. The sheets were cheap material, as was the itchy, harsh bath towels; the largest towels offered were about the same size of my dish towels at home. Not to menition the small cockroach I found in the bathroom one night. Honestly the best part about this hotel was the close proximity to the convention center. I do not recommend this hotel whatsoever. The price was outrageous for the quality of the room and the disinterest of the staff. I have stayed at several hotels in the same area for around the same price and have never stayed anywhere as bad as this hotel. I will not be returning.

The room was ok. The air conditioner blew more up into the curtains than into the room. The towels were so rough it hurt to dry off. The parking was bad. People were parking over the lines and there were barely enough parking spaces as it was.

I stayed here because I'm a college student and can't really afford a $100 per night hotel. This hotel really wasn't that bad. The bed isn't that comfy, and the place smelled like baby powder. Other than that, it wasn't too bad. I brought my own towels, blankets and pillows, as well as an air freshener (after reading the comments on this site). It's a decent place for the price, but if you can afford it, pay the extra 25 or so for a nicer place.

VERY fairly priced, and conveniently located. Our room was spacious, clean, and housekeeping did a great job. I enjoyed my stay, and loved saving money.

The Alamo Inn is the least expensive hotel in the area and within walking distance to the Disney Parks. There are no frills and the hotel is somewhat rundown. At the same time it was kept clean and worth the money we spent.

Carpets were extremely dirty, looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time, there were places where it looked like there was vomit that was never cleaned good enough. We could not even walk barefoot because if we did our feet were really dirty. Furniture was not dusted, air conditioner unit looked like it was going to come out of the wall and was noisy. Room smelled. Towels provided were really old, small and raspy and looked like they needed to be soaked in clorox. This hotel in my opinion does not deserve not even a single star.

The hotel rug was wet. The sheets felt like when they wer washed there was too much soap and not enough rinse, so they werre kind of sticky. The bed was as hard as wood. I chose the hotel bacause the add said they gad guest laundry service. The washer and drier was so grose, I would not put my clothes in them. The hotel walls had brown rust staines running down them. There is no way I would stay in this hotel again. I would rather pay more for better quality. I understand for the price you do not get a nice hotel. But I do expect hotels to be clean and not have a wet carpet.

Our room keys had to be remade every time we wanted to get back in our room. There was no AC just a swamp cooler that wasn't on so when we got there it was unbareable for at least two hours. The towels were about as big as hand towels and they were scatchy. It's one and only redeeming quality was that it is very close to Disneyland. I still wouldn't recomend it though.

First the towels so small, but that not a big problem, the Jacuzzi was very, very, very dirty. I never saw something that dirty, really, really disgusting, I never, ever recommend this hotel for somebody, please spend a little bit more of money and stay in a better hotel.

Room smelled, dirty carpets, towels too small, old and rough. Everything provided looked cheap. Furniture looked dirty and dusty. This hotel needs a major improvement.

Key didn't work and had to return 3 times to get one that would work "with a secret" then the toilet was broken. Bed was a box with sheets. Definitely a hotel to avoid

This really is a great hotel for the money. Yes, the furniture is outdated; but for the money, the quality of the room is very good. Very spacious rooms. Great sized refigerator- we brought food for meals and it worked great! The location was great - about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland/Calif Adventures/Downtown Disney. Grocery store nearby. The service was very good - quick to repair lamp, and provide towels. Firm beds - if you like that - they are comfortable.

This place is very easy to get to and from the Disneyland parking structure. Each time we walked into the room, it smell like baby powder, it was great. No stale smell here. My only complaint was the bathtub/shower, the pull knob didn't work properly, could still shower, just not with a much water as would've liked. The staff was helpful and nice, enjoyed our stay, and will be staying again.

I should have listened to all the reviews I read prior to booking a room from this hotel. The sheets felt dirty, dirty looked & felt dirty. Small towels, carpet left my feet black after I had showered. Turned the ac on and it made the room smell like urine. There was mold around the ac. Carpet had iron burns on it. The windows don't have a screen. Overall, this hotel is not worth the money, even if it is only a block or two from Disneyland.

AGING AND NEGLECTED. A LITTLE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WOULD DO WONDERS FOR THIS NICE, PERFECTLY LOCATED HOTEL. NEVERTHELESS, A BARGAIN.

The hotel was very run down as far as old paint, old bedspreads, carpeting, etc. but, for the price, it was a good deal.

Wow! I can only think of one word - cheap. No frills at all. Thinnest towels I've ever seen. They are from the 1970s, I believe. Screen in bathroom ripped. Shower as small as airplane bathroom. Basebaords filthy. Rust in bathrooms. Sink faucet too far away from sink (think about it). At least the mini fridge and microwave worked. BUT, for the money, you can spend more in a minute down the street (a 10 min walk) at Disneyland. Buyer beware.

the beds were hard the room was small there were absolutely no amenities. However the hotel was close enough to Disneyland that we could walk there. The room was the least expensive in the area. Who stays in the room when you are at Disneyland anyway?

I am one of those people who rarely complains but this is the worst hotel I have ever been in. The hotel beds had no padding, it was like sleeping on spring. It was very uncomfortable and I often fall asleep with my son on the floor, so I am not picky. The towels for the shower are hand towels, so it would not even cover my body when I got out. The TV was so bad that most of the time it was black and white. There is mold in the shower and the air conditioner was really loud. I often just pick the cheapest hotels because I am not picky but THIS was TERRIBLE. Spend a couple of extra dollars and enjoy your hotel.

I thought this was going to be one great place to stay... I thought wrong... My hubby gave me a task to find a cheap room by Disneyland so we could stay over night for one night. Well the website and reviews looked promising but i was fooled. I was a little upset that they said you could travel with a pet but when we asked to check in early it was keep calling back. Finally when we were leaving that morning they told me no early check in is ava. I was not happy because my dog had to stay at home. We didnt get to check in until 2 which we were already in the park and were not about to walk a mile just to get back since it was not just around the corner... So we checked in late and no one was there we had to wait a good twenty mins for someone to come out. finally we get in our room the front screen was torn like someone tried to get in and the bathroom didnt have a screen and was left open. On top of that the room key didnt work and we had to try and try again to get in. The room was okay didnt trust the bed felt really dirty and the towels were the size of my wash cloth used like ten of them to dry off. Over all i dont think we will stay there again. And when it comes right down to it "you get what you pay for" ;-)

well, this hotel is in a great location. You can walk to disney and downtown disney. The outdoor portion of it is well maintained but, pool is small and so is the jacuzzi. The rooms inside are okay. The curtains dont match with the bedspread and the toilet paper is the thinnest in the world. Where was the charmin bear when you need him? The towels are even thinner. The shampoo? forget it! The good thing is that the A/C did work, you get cable, (but only 1 tv). And I guess you can take pets. Oh, there was also a bitten pizza slice on the side of the bed. It was so gross and funny to see it! It was our first night there, and we ate panda express so it wasnt our pizza.

The location was great but the room was bad.The A/C was very noisy, the carpet was so dirty when you walked from the shower to your bed your feet would get black and the restroom had no ventilation except for a small window with no blinds.The refrigerator and microwave were nice and the T.V. worked, Overall the room was a place to sleep at night for the price.

The rooms were actually big for the amount we paid for. You get everything you need, that's about it. Like most people, we stayed there since we were too tired after a day at Disneyland. The location is great, just a couple of blocks away from the park. Few minutes walk to Denny's and a convenience store. The only down side: towels are small and scratchy.

Do not go there. Not a place you want to rest your head after Disneyland.

o.k hotel, needs to be updated though rooms had a real old feeling to them like they were built in the 70's.

I am on a tight budget, and this was a great room for the money for the money. I will definitely book it again when in Anaheim.

It's a decent, clean, hotel with very nice employees.

The location was great! Around the corner from the Anaheim Convention Center, and down the street from Disneyland & California Adventure entrances. Pool was small, but they had a hot tub as well. The room was fine for the price, a little outdated, but functional. REALLY small towels, so we had to do multiple housekeeping requests.

Although the hotel was old, it was clean and nice looking. The people were very pleasant and accomodating. It was close to Disneyland and eatting places.

The room was very spacious, clean, and well kept. Staff was very polite and helpfull, in every way they could assist us.

What i expected for the price i payed. will stay there again next time. the complementary fridge and microwave is what sold me on this place, i stayed in a more upscale hotel couple years back and i have to request for a fridge and microwave but didn't materialized.

Clean, cheap price, came with a microwave and fridge, which was convenient. Location was alright, down the street from 711 and restaurants. Also across from Disneyland but on the opposite side of the main gate so you have to walk through the back to downtown Disney, which is a longer walk but still closer than some other places. overall its a old worn place with good amenities and worth the money, and I would stay there again.

This is by no means a great hotel - some disrepair, hot tub didn't work, no breakfast. The pool was pretty small, but very refreshing. Staff was nice and location was great. If you are looking for something convenient for getting into Disneyland and don't need to be pampered, this place is pretty good.

Its a great location and good for the price but its a pretty gross little place. Pretty safe.

We changed our travel plans at the last minute from going camping to using airline miles to travel to Disneyland. We were looking for some place close and inexpensive. The price we paid for the room was great, but it was less than desirable when it came to the beds. Ours was as hard as a rock. The one our kids slept in was the same but dipped in the center. Probably because this bed was located closer to the a/c (which didn't work all that well). Lucky for us the temps in So. Cal for this timeframe were not very high. We saw a couple of bugs in our room during our stay and the towels were cheap, thin, small and felt like you were drying off with sandpaper. This hotel was not a part of the Disneyland Good Neighbors group and thus we had to go to another hotel to purchase tickets on the Anaheim Tram (which the gal said she shouldn't do, but did anyhow).
