Hotel Centro - Florence

LOVED THAT IT WAS SO CLOSE TO THE DUOMO AND OTHER SITES... VERY CONVENIENT. BUILDING IS ANTIQUE AND PRESERVED TO HONOR A FAMOUS ARTIST WHO LIVED THERE MANY YEARS AGO. ALL ROOMS ON THE SECOND FLOOR ONLY HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATED AND NO AIR CONDITIONED.

Good hotel. Very near of atraction and buses. Friendly sevices. Super control breakfeast but good for few days!

Great location, right next to the San Lorenzo market. Family-run hotel, people were very nice and helpful.

The staff was incredulously friendly and the room comfortable. The location is convenient; only 2 blocks from the Duomo on a mostly pedestrian street, but sadly the room overlooked the noisy street. Get to breakfast early because the dining room is small.

The location was OUTSTANDING! And the hotel staff were so great- they were a wonderful resource for the best gelato place in town and for many other things as well. Last minute, we had a friend join us on the trip, and the hotel got him a fair priced room for 5 nights last minute- amazing! I have only good things to say about this hotel, and will recommend it to anyone who will listen! Not that Florence/Firenze needed any help being amazing, but the hotel definitely added to the experience.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel. If you dont want anything too fancy, this is a great little 2 start hotel.The staff are friendly, very helpful and genuinely help. The room was basic but clean and full of the amenities expected of a 2 star. The only downside for me was the absence of an iron and ironing board (usually kept at reception for small hotels). The alley outside the hotel is a thoroughfare for the locals and the local market people and therefore busy and noisy but with windows tightly closed it wasnt a problem for me (<----heavy sleeper anyway) and I like the sounds of the city.

I WAS UNHAPPY WHEN I GET ROOM WITHOUT OWN BATHROOM-I PAID FOR OWN BATHROOM!!! I SHARING THIS ONE WITH OTHER ROOMS-DISCASTING!!! BREAKFAST- VERY SMALL PORTIOn!! ONCE ON THREE DAYS CHANGING bedclothes

I read other reviews and decided to book it based on what others had written. I got a single room, but unfortunately I had to share a bath/shower outside. It was an older room facing the street so it was also a bit noisy. If you are just looking for a room to sleep in with little else this is a fairly good value. The staff was nice and there was a basic breakfast included. It was in a good central location; just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station (if you go the right direction).

On arrival we were confronted with a "buzzer" entry system. It took 10 mins and 3 long presses of the bell to get in. The foyer to the actual hotel - on 1st floor- smelt of cigarette smoke, as did our bedroom. Although the hotel cannot do anything about street noise, the window shutters let in a lot of light and subsequently noise. Breakfast was a very basic affair, hardly worth eating. In fact we didn't have it on the second day. I wouldn't really recommend this hotel, nor would I go back.

This hotel was close to everything in the city center of florence and had very large rooms. The front desk people are nice and friendly!

Mysigt och trevligt hotell som ligger mitt i stan. Det är bara 30m till marknaden och ett par hundra meter in till domen. Mycket skönt att bara kunna promenera omkring. Det är dock mycket oväsen på morgonen så är man inte uppe med tuppen måste man ha öronproppar annars är det "kört" :-)

It had good breakfast facility Nothing fancy but good std. Economy double bed was nice and good for staying a couple of days in Florence where you do not spend lot of time at your room. Also very close to a car park in Central Florence

Toutes les chambres n'ont pas de douche et WC. Quiproquo souligné par la critique d'un client sur ce point aussi nous avons vérifié avant de partir et dû modifier notre réservation et naturellement payer plus pour obtenir douche et WC dans la chambre.

Plus: schöne Lage Minus: - sehr unsauberes (Flecken auf dem Boden, Massen von Staub) Zimmer, kein tägliches Putzen (nur nach Aufforderung); - sehr einfaches Frühstück (eine Sort von Käse und Wurst, kein Jogurt, kein Ei); - extrem laut (von der Straße), es gibt kein Zimmer im Hof; - überwiegend unfreundliches Personal

J'ai apprécié la gentillesse , la bonne humeur et la disponibilité du personnel de l'hotel. Petit déjeuner simple mais compieux, chambre agréable, le chauffage allait meme trop fort! a conseiller et on y retournera sans problème

molto centrale,ideale per spostarsi a piedi nel centro di Firenze, ma poco pulito l'ambiente.

Situation idéale, en plein coeur de la ville. Personnel très accueillant, toujours prêt à rendre service et conseiller. Chambres propres mais peu spacieuses, très bien pour un séjour de courte durée.

Het Hotel zelf zit niet in de allerbeste straat, maar is maar een blok verwijderd van alle toeristische plekjes. De straat uitlopen en je zit zo in het historisch centrum. Vanuit het station is het ook te lopen naar het Hotel. De service en het ontbijt was goed en voor de rest zijn we vooral buiten de deur geweest!
