Hotel Josef - Praha

Nice place, comfortable. Staff a little dour, maybe haven't gotten a raise lately, or maybe that's the Austrian way. Weird to have a dozen steps to go up to reception and no one there to help with bags. Although very close to things on the map, a little out of the way. And on a busy road, lots of traffic noise in the morning.

Hotel Josef was great - the hotel was very nicely deocorated and it was about a 5-7 minute walk to Old Town which is the perfect location. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the concierge. The only issue we had was not getting an ironing board and iron, but other than that I absolutely LOVED the hotel.

This was a great hotel in a perfect location. 5 minutes from the main square. Loved all the little extras-free bottled water in the room, free access to computers and the net, and great strawberries in the room and lobby. Love the glass shower areas too. Very Cool!

Josef Hotel is in the perfect location in Prague, it is a modern hotel with a frendly staff, good breakfast, quite and very confortable rooms.

This hotel is located in the heart of Prague and is within a 5 minute walk to tha Old Town Square and major shopping attractions. Although the location of this hotel was fantastic, the best part of the hotel was the design and uniqueness of the rooms. This is truly an outstanding member of the Design Hotels group. We stayed in the glass bathroom room and be aware that it provides minimal privacy. You may want to stay in this style of room with a significant other rather than friends. Or stay in the room with the regular bathroom. The service was great and we were suprised with chocalate covered strawberries the first night we were there and a bottle of champage for my friend's birthday on the second night. I don't know how they knew it was his bday, but they did. And it was an extremely nice gesture. No added costs!

Hotel Josef is a very modern hotel with a great staff who spoke good English. The concierge helped us tremendously with finding out many things about the city. The location is very walkable to one of the main train stations (and has a reasonable price for service to all train stations) and Old Town Square. It is on a quiet street with a little grocery store about a block away to buy supplies and a little bakery on the corner to buy a quick breakfast. The lobby has free internet access. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, because it was a bit pricey, but it looked excellent.

Very modern yet comfortable hotel. The neighborhood was nice enough, a little off the main tourist areas, but very close to almost everything. Quite a nice feature actually. The 7th floor superior rooms with a balcony are great. Perfect for morning coffee and evening beers. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend to a friend.

For a very reasonable rate, Hotel Josef was a full serice hotel with a clean, bright (small) room, nice bathroom, extremely helpful concierge, and most importantly, a great location! We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

A really nice boutique-style hotel well located close to the Josefov area of Prague. Very modern-style with bright lobby and public areas. Comfortable and stylish bedrooms with good linens and top quality fittings. Appreciated the free internet connectivity either in the lobby or in the bedrooms (why can't all hotels be like this?) Nice touch - an umbrella in the room! Breakfasts were expensive so we skipped, but overall a real find - great for a city break.

The location of this hotel is nearly perfect for Prague. The front door of the hotel is a short walk to the "Old Town" area of Prague -- which is more or less central to most other traditional tourist areas (all potentially within walking distance). The hotel rooms were very clean with a wonderfully modern design. Everything was new and of the highest quality in the bedroom, bathroom, and business areas. The overall design has a simple and clean feel to it. Throughout the hotel was free Wi-Fi internet access, as well as a business center that was available all hours of the day. What impressed me the most was the staff's desire to make every guest feel special. The front desk was always heavily staffed with friendly and courteous professionals. The waitstaff and concierge were more helpful than anyone I've ever encountered in any hotel in the U.S.

I must recommend this hotel by all means. The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are neat, clean, modern, and although the closet space is limited, the rest compensates for this very minor inconvenience. The bathrooms are comfortable and modern. Room service is reliable and very service oriented. The Bar Josef at the lobby is well stocked and the service is beyond expectations. I certainly will try to visit Prague again any time in the near future. I will certainly stay at the Josef again.

Accueil chaleureux, notre chambre était spacieuse et très confortable, la salle de bain moderne et agréable. nous avons apprécié le petit déjeuner : copieux, énorme, diversifié (il y en a pour tous les goûts) de 6h à 12h. Cet hôtel est calme, très lumineux, la décoration sobre, moderne avec un personnel discret mais aussi à l'écoute du client. Il est situé à deux pas des principaux monuments à visiter. Nous avons passé 4 jours de rêve à Prague car la ville est magique mais aussi grâce à cet hôtel où nous avons pu nous reposer après de longues marches.

Kjempefint hotell, stilrent, bra beliggenhet, flott service. Reiser gjerne tilbake igjen!

Vi måtte dessverre bo på et annet hotell første natten, men til gjengjeld fikk vi gratis frokost, og vin på rommet;) Super hyggelig betjening, flotte rom, grei beliggenhet i forhold til både shopping og severdigheter. Hit vil vi dra igjen!

Splendido hotel. Un architettura modernissima in centro città. Ottima la posizione, tranquilla ma in centro, a due passi da tutti i monumenti, ai mezzi pubblici e ai ristoranti migliori e fashion della città, ottimi da provare (I prezzisono contenuti). Sevizio impeccabile e personale molto disponibile. Camere pulitissime, molto belle e confortevoli. Piccola palestra ma molto attrezzata. Ottima la colazione. Unica nota negativa il terzo letto un po' scomodo e pochi asciugamani nel bagno ma, ci si può dimenticare di questo visto tutto il resto. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel per visitare Praga. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un 4 stelle con prezzi contenuti.

Hotellet har glimrende beliggenhet kun noen få hundre meter til mange av de viktigste attraksjonene i byen. Maks 4-5 min gange til torget i gamlebyen og til byens største shoppingsenter med sine 200 butikker. Moderne, men koselige hotel med god og rask service. Vi hadde rom med bad, dusj og wc i "glassbur", Nespresso maskin, flatskjerm og CD spiller. Alt fungerte bra! Hotellet kan hente og bringe til flyplassen, noe som anbefales. Det kostet 850 Tjekkiske koruna hver vei (ca NOK 280,-) Eneste minus med oppholdet var at det luktet vondt i trenings- og oppholdsrommet i toppetasjen og at enkelte av drinkene i hotelbaren kunne smakt bedre.

Rigtig lækkert hotel, centralt beliggende
