Overall I've always loved staying here, but one thing I'd like to bring up is when request for a later check out time, please be sure your cleaning staff knows which room's requesting it so the customers won't be bothered. Although I've requested several times staying here, I still seemed to get either knock on my door or phone calls to see if I'm in the room. Please be sure to notify your staff in regards to this specific request from your customer because they don't seem to have a clue or not being communicated to regarding this request. Thank you!

We only needed to stay at this hotel for one night because we were attending a wedding. The hotel made three sets of keys for us. We never had a set that worked and needed assistance opening our door each time we entered. The hotel advertises a shuttle that will take guests within five miles, however, they do not mention that the shuttle driver works several other jobs, and may or may not show up, which the front desk told me as soon as I asked about the shuttle. Several front desk workers called the shuttle driver to make sure he was "serious" about coming in on time, and he was still 20 minutes late to drive us. Also, the computers in the business center did not work, and the front desk workers were unable to help us print our boarding pass. We requested a wake up call so we could make our 8am flight, and never received one. So we were late to the wedding, and to the plane, and didn't have boarding passes. I think the cookies are a bribe for your silence.

I signed up for the Executive Room that was supposed to include numerous amenities--free breakfast, internet, bottled water in my room, drink coupon for the bar, etc. I didn't get any of this. When I asked, they did give me a breakfast voucher and said they'd take the internet charges off my bill. But I had to ask 3 times before the charges were actually removed. And I never got everything that was promised.

All was great, except, the restaurant hours were not as posted, no room service, for posted hours either. Aside from that, loved it.

This was a very nice, comfortable hotel. The room was large with a very comfortable bed. The room was very well lit, large towels, nice armchair, nice tea/coffee maker with good tea bags (rare to find. A pleasant stay.

I was expecting better room than others with the price I paid. Not worth it, with same price you can have clean, comfort room + breakfast and free parking. I have to pay $14 for overnight parking!!! what a ripoff.

I really didn’t expect much for the price, but I was incredibly impressed with this hotel and the staff. Right from the start we were treated wonderfully. The staff was friendly and helpful and even gave us huge, warm, chocolate chip cookies at check in, which my 8 year old thought that was the best part. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. We were only there for one night, but we will defiantly go back. The parking in front of the hotel filled up very quickly, but the hotel has additional parking available in a garage across the parking lot. At check out the staff remained helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value at a great price.

The hotel was quite uninviting in the lobby and the rooms are a disappointment from what I've come to expect from the double tree. The parking is 14 dollars per night which is quite expensive. In general, stay at the Ayers hotel close by. It is a much better value with friendier staff and a great breakfast.

The Hotel is situated in a great location and has many small shops surrounding it around the block, many of them right outside the front door of the hotel, including a dry cleaners, which is great. One problem I had was in the bathroom -- the toilet kept clogging up, and they had to keep fixing it. The shower is activated by a pull tab, which was very tight to use, and I felt that I would pull the entire faucet off if I pulled too hard. Never could get the shower to work on full without water coming out of the spigot also. The weight room is fantastic, probably one of the best exercise rooms I've seen in a hotel, and it has professional Precor equipment. The on-site restaurant is a very handy item, and the room-service was excellent and on-time. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in the area, and it is extremely close to John Wayne airport.

This hotel is fine for a business meeting but the staff is not helpful and the place is a waste land on weekends.

Our hotel stay was very pleasant, it was in a good location and the rooms were very comfortable.... the lobby was elegant and the service was great, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who would like to enjoy a night away from home.

Was not aware that Hotel charges 14.00 a day for parking, Then we went to check out, we complained but they said too bad , sign was posted but kinda hidden behind another sign. room did not have micro, refeg or good coffee maker. We did not find this hotel to be anything better then a motel.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was helpful and the room was clean. The only set back was the parking was very limited and we had to buy a parking pass for $14.95 a night. Other than paying for parking everything was great. We are planning on staying there again for our next visit.

I didnt mind because I dont care about all the extra. All I needed was a place to sleep.

upon arrival, the people at the front desk were extremely rude to us!! they acted inconvenienced by our check in and every question we asked about the area was blown off. We asked for help with our bags as we were staying for a week so we had a lot. The request was ignored and when i asked again, the guy was really annoyed when he said, we don't have anyone to help you. I told him then he will help us for what we were paying them. There were several other incidents with hotel staff being rude and eventually i got the manager involved.

One problem w/ hotel is mgmt dishonesty. Arrived on Monday under separate invitation. While checking in, note on desk stated that there would be intermittant internet disruption for the week, a deal breaker due to business reasons. Front desk said it wouldn't be interupted all week but our conference was in hotel (I moved) & there was no service until Friday. Also, parking is $14 daily & not avail 24 hours, lot closed from 10 PM -6 AM making late night excursions impossible, w/ no street parking avail. Go down street to other property, although no wireless, has free parking. Don't expect customer service after check-in, desk staff there aloof & appear to treat job like chore versus hopitality.

The hotel was clean and most of the employees were friendly and helpful. The only exception was the receptionist who obviously didn't care. She was not informative (didn't even point to the elevators or parking lot) and would not say "welcome" or even smile. Otherwise, the hotel was good, especially for business travelers, I felt.

hotel was not easy to locate lobby. I felt the rooms and halls need updating. It felt old and dated. The bath was really dated.

The windows and curtains were very dirty, made you wonder about everything else.

It's very good and a convenient location, free parking which is a good thing

I can count on this hotel. Easy access to the freeway, nice staff, clean comforable rooms, and a bed to die for. The room service is quick and the food is excellent!!

The room was comfortable, the location Ok. The mattress was great, but the pillows were way too soft! People (all men) knocked on our door about every hour from 7pm until 11pm and another one at 2am!!!! So there was a party somewhere. Other than that it was very quiet & comfortable. The food at the on-site restaurant was good. I would recommend the hotel.

The Doubletree was great. I was upset with the $14 parking but they ended up not charging. It was really clean and the employees were really friendly.

it's satisfactory, but the room could be bigger with better interior decorating.

THIS HOTEL WAS A VERY GOOD ONE, BUT FELT THAT I WAS BEING 'NICKELED AND DIMED' TO DEATH.....EVEN THE MORNING PAPER WAS NOT 'COMPLIMENTARY.' I PARKED IN A PARKING LOT OUTSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE TO THE HOTEL AND WAS CHARGED $12, I BELIEVE....NOT AS THOUGH IT WAS UNDERGROUND PARKING OR VALET. THE VARIOUS CHAINS OF HOTELS THAT I USUALLY STAY AT ALL HAVE SOME FORM OF COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST, AND FOUND THAT THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS RATHER OVERPRICED.

We loved our stay. The hotel was close to everything. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Had no problems.

Outstanding hotel....Breakfast could have included more hot items instead of the same scrambled eggs and bacon which I don't eat, but it was free..I visit my daughter every year and would stay here again next year unless they get wise, and raise their prices too much !!

We'd booked our night at the Doubletree for convenience's sake only and were very pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the whole experience was. We were greeted graciously with warm cookies and treated like royalty for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room impeccably clean. Just a fantastic find!

The pool was under repair during our stay. The hotel charged us $14 per day parking for our car. We were not told that at or before check-in. The parking lot was full with weddings and meetings which made it inconvenient and we even had to park on the street in a metered spot one night. When we complained at check-out we received some credit but don't see why we should have paid at all.

I am very claustrophbic so I'm not comfortable in elevators. Since the stairwell is only accessible from outside of the hotel, the gentleman at the desk was so gracious to go through and open the door for me every time I need to go to my room. Not very many hotels would go that extra mile and I never felt like I was putting him out.

I loved the hotel, the beds were the best and the Restaurant was excellent along with the staff. My only complaint is having to pay $14.00 a day for parking. I think that should have been covered in the hotel fee which was not that low. The entire staff was great.

We drive up and walk into the hotel and observe how wonderful it is. That's was the end of wonderful. We arrived late and wanted a bite to eat. "the attached restaurant" really needs work on guest relations. dinner/breakfast were very much a disappointment. We only received two complimentary vouchers for breakfast although there were four of us. The additional buffet breakfast was $15.00 each. The buffet was definately not $15.00 buffet. Our room was not cleaned the following day, we needed to call down to front desk in the afternoon to request someone to clean room. In addition there were some items that were not replaced (such as toliet paper) nor were there any extras of any of the normal room supplies. Walking down the hallway, we observe wine glasses left out in the walkway from the other guest rooms and foyer to the elevator in the a.m.They were still there in the p.m. For a business trip this room for the price might work but I would not recommend for families or groups. I do have to say there was a wedding that looked absolutely large & beautiful. Perhaps all their concentration was on that event. As we were instructed not to park to the entrance to accomodate this reception and their guests. For $14.00 parking charge per day, I would think we could park as anyone would or waive the $14.00 charge for that day.
