Hotel Ariston - Milanas

This hotel is a very good option for a weekend break in milan. there's not much in the hotel, andis relatively basic and no frills, but as a base to explore the city it's fantastic. It's in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Duomo and the fashion shops. and right beside the Navigli area which is great for lively restaurants and night spots. If you want to be pampered in a hotel I wouldn't go hear. But as a base to explore Milan on foot, it's a gret value option.

I was attending a conference in Milan and so the central location of the Ariston Hotel meant I could walk to the meeting. However, trams pass in front of the hotel if required. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was obviously brand new. The breakfast was very good. I will recommend this hotel to other members of my organisation.

At a reasonable rate I could stay in well cared for contemporary hotel in Old Town near all the important historical sights. It was a perfect suit for me.

The Ariston is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo, shopping, etc. The rooms are very small but clean and reasonably comfortable, though we had little hot water on our first day. We complained about the water and it was better on subsequent days, but that may have been because we got up earlier. The staff were in general not very friendly or helpful (much like most of the service personnel in Milan, so you may not have a different experience elsewhere).

Pleasant and enjoyable - no extravaganza - just great value-for-money!

Hotel Ariston was based quite near to Milan centre - about a 15 minute walk. There's not many nice bars/eatery's around the hotel and the bars near the centre were extremely over priced. However if you go to Milan to shop and sightsee then it's perfect for you. The hotel room was simple however very clean and reasonably priced. Only complaint really was the load, constant buzzing noise from outside the back of the hotel.

Hotel Ariston is in a fantastic central location just a few minutes easy stroll - or a minute's tram ride for the very lazy - from the Duomo, making it an ideal base for exploring Milan's sights, what few there are. It's also right next to the trendy Porto Ticinese district, Milan's answer to London's Shoreditch. Staff are super friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms, which can admittedly be cramped, are well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast - included - is a fairly extensive array of fresh (and in many cases, organic) produce, the usual continental offering plus fruit, cereals & sweet pastries. I was so pleased with the Ariston's value for money that I didn't hesitate to book again for my last night in Italy before flying from Malpensa: Cadorna station, for the Malpensa Express, is only a fifteen minute walk away.

Great concept and ocation for Milan trip. Not too conventient for airport overnight which we did both arriving and depatring from our NOrthern Italy trip. Staff appeared put out and less than helpful on 2 shifts.

Ett hotel som valdes beroende på pris och läge. Efter att ha besökt Milano några gånger och ditt mål är att bo bra, centralt och till ett rimligt pris måste Ariston anses som ett fullgott val. Rummen är traditionellt lite mindre, men håller en acceptabel nivå. Frukosten kan man säga är anpassad efter rummen, mindre, men där du finner det nödvändigaste för stå dig fram till lunch.

Perfekt beliggenhed, godt værelse, fin service

Hyggeligt hotel med rigtig behjælpeligt personale. Værelset var ikke så stort, men rigtig pænt og rent. Der var både klædeskab, minibar, tv med engelske kanaler samt aircondition. Badeværelset var over alt forventning på et 3 stjernet hotel. Der var rene håndklæder hver dag, kleenex, sæbe m.m. til fri afbenyttelse. Der var et virkelig rengjort badekar. Beliggenheden var også fin, tæt ved den storslåede Duomo. Der var kun to ting der kunne havde været bedre. Hårtørreren på værelset var ikke ret effektiv. Og hvis man hører til dem der sover længe, så er det småt med udvalget af morgenmad. Men alt i alt var det et dejligt ophold.
