City Inn Glasgow Hotel - Glazgas

Stayed for a long weekend with my partner and was impressed with everything, it is only 5 minutes outside of city centre so only costing £4 or so for a cab makes the cheap rate perfect for travelling also, very nice view onto river :) staff booked taxis etc very quickly when asked & were all very pleasant, everything was great.

I have already recommended this hotel. the room was extremely comfortable. The mac computer was great with no charge for internet! Excellent value.

Took a quick trip up to Glasgow for Ricky Gervais show with my boyfriend,just needed a place for the night. Struggled when trying to find a hotel because most in my price range had loads of bad reviews. can't remember if this one did, but if so--IGNORE THEM. this place is amazing for the price. IMO, modern and swanky. mac computer for all your entertainment needs-- sky channels, wireless internet..we were set. sad I wasn't able to spend more time in the hotel! walking distance from Central Station, and on the doorstep of the SECC! I have to stay at the Premiere Inn down here from time to time..costs me £20 more and is a complete dump compared to City Inn!!

The staff were excellent and helpful,prices were reasonable,room was comfy, clean and the view was amazing.Food excellent, want the chef for myself. Overall i have never enjoyed a hotel to stay in like the City Inn. Recommended.

I only stayed here one night but it was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant had delicious food. The rooms had AC and a computer with internet and TV access. It was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

This has been our 3rd stay in this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpfull.The rooms are clean comfortable and have everything you should need..The new apple computers are a great addition.The bar and restaurant are excellent and there is a nice outside terrace to sit by the water if the weather is good.We have only one gripe , but then it is a common one throughout other hotels, this being the slamming of doors early in the morning from the cleaning staff. Apart from that we would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will always use it for our visits to Glasgow.

i have stayed here several times now and have another booking for the end of august. it has always played an important part of my stays in glasgow.

We were going to a concert in the SECC and the hotel is within walking distance. Also you can walk into the centre of Glasgow but that is quite a walk. Hotel in ideal location, clean, friendly staff, good continental breakfast

This is the second time I've used this hotel and I've been impressed on both occasions. The room was clean and well appointed. It is also in a nice quiet location for the centre of Glasgow.

Chose as close to SECC, only a few minutes walk away, and would definitely stay again. Quality hotel, room compact but immaculate with excellent technology. All staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. A la carte menu delicious, and reasonably priced.

This Hotel was reccomended to me by a friend who had stayed there, and I can say the expectations were met. Clean and comfortable, and good value for the money. I must say that breakfast is notincluded and is pricey for the options available. But other than that I give it a 4 out of 5.

The hotel is really well situated and my room had excellent view over the 'squinty' bridge. Hotel was spotless throughout and the accommodation was first class - a clean, fresh feel to everything in the place. Service was very good and I would thoroughly recommend.

Staff was very friendly from the onset. Room I was given was at the end of the hall next to the door where the staff accessed the floor and I was constantly being woken up by the door being banged shut. Bathroom was not clean when I arrived and I could clearly discern that a woman had been the previous occupier of the room.

I've stayed here many times now on business trips to Glasgow and never had any complaints. It's a little bit out of the city centre but still in a good spot near the SECC. Food is OK and there's also a reasonable bar area. Or there is a good Indian Restaurant just over the road which is worth trying. Rooms are of a good standard - nicely done out with good bathrooms with powerful showers. Also free internet access through your own in room apple computer.

The room was nice, clean and contemporary. The apple mac was great, with internet and Freeview plus channels and more importantly the service was fantastic. The staff were pleasant, helpful and overall, very accommodating. I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Glasgow.

Efficient and professional staff witha really well-equipped room

This is a modern clean possibily even minimalist hotel. Latest technology abounds. A wonderful location by the River Clyde. Slightly at the wrong end of town but still close enough to al the cities main attractions.

A slick hotel which is well run Very clean room with TV and free apple computer and internet connection excellent food although once again the loch fyne kippers had swam off the menu before my arrival. (They worth having if you can get them!)

Was very pleased with the hotel nice location,the room had everything to meet our requirments,such as very comfortable beds,great shower very clean. will be going back for sure.

City Inn is well placed for all amenities around Glasgow including easy access to the motorways network. You must consider for business as the rooms are well prepared and unlike other hotels parking and internet are free of charge. Room service is always an option and the quality of the menu whilst not huge is excellent quality. Queen size beds are easy to get lost in. iMac in every room serves as your TV as well as a media centre and there is an excellent choice of programming for both Radio and TV. Take a DVD if you fancy watching something different, the player is also included. As long as my company keeps paying the bills it will be my number one choice. For those that need a smoking room, these are also catered for which has become difficult in Glasgow these days.

Very nicely situated right beside the river. On nice days breakfast, lunch etc can be eaten outside by the river Clyde. Peacefully situated, but close to city centre. The airport bus, 757, stops right outside the door and anyone can use it, not just travellers, to and from the centre. The Glasgow Tour bus also stops right outside. Rooms are fresh, light and modern. Beautiful Apple Mac tv/computers in the rooms, which might just confuse those just looking for a straight forward simple tv to use! Food is also good. Maybe just check what is on at the very close Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre, as this can make restaurants and indeed the hotel, very busy. Oh, and just make sure the room fridge door key-closed, as it may actually be open otherwise!

My husband and I visit his family just outside Glasgow on a fairly regular basis, usually chosing to stay in Travel Inn's, however on this occasion we chose to stay at this hotel. With the very minor moan (only from me, not the other half) that the pillows were a bit on the flat side - could have done with some new ones - we were both very pleased. The rooms were warm, well maintained and we'll definitely stay there again. Only just over the river from the main shopping centre of the City too.

GREAT RIVERSIDE LOCATION,CLEAN,MODERN&COMFORTABLE ROOMS. I WILL DEFINATELY USE THIS HOTEL FOR FUTURE TRIPS TO GLASGOW

it was a great hotel, polite at reception, very clean room, amazing view of the clyde, bathroom clean and nice, just a bit small. the only downside was the fact i booked a queen size bed and we ended up with two singles which we had to push together, but apart form that would go back, plus it was also cheap.

i will visit again enjoy it very much.

This hotel is a great location for anyone going to the secc.I was pleasantly surprised at the standard,this is a very clean and modern hotel.Rooms are bof a very good standard with your imac for your music and your television.Breakfast next morning was lovely with a choice of continental or full english.Staff were very attentive and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.Overall l had a lovely stay and most certainly will be back.

The hotel is confortable and very clean, but the staff are unhelpful. As the hotel is close to SECC, unless you book in advance the restaurant is fully booked until around 8pm. This also goes for the chinease across the road, and the other hotel across the road. Hence ended up ordering room service, which did not have what was listed on the menu.

Trendy medium sized chic hotel on the banks of the Clyde.Smart efficient and courteous staff servicing a bright reasonably priced glass fronted restaurant with an above average menu and acceptable wine list without being pretentious. The rooms which face the river are a good size with most business toys to satisfy the passing business fraternity.Some complimentary water would be a nice touch but tea coffee etc supplied comp.Al fresco dining is recommended in the summer which naturally depends on the changeble Scottish weather. All in all well recommended and usually my first choice when I am in town.

Exceptionally expensive to be put in a non-standard room. Dining service exceptionally expensive for the basics in food service. Personal efforets of staff were quality oriented where facility price structure is disproportinate.

Un excellent hotel avec un concept de technologie simple : un imac dans toutes les chambres pour surfer, regarder la TV, ses photos, travailler... etc. Très bien situé, excellente vue sur la rivière et les immeubles design alentours. A 10 minutes à pied du centre ville. Excellent petit déjeuné... compris dans le prix de la chambre... A CE PRIX LA... j'y retourne sans hésiter ! bémol : l'hotel est neuf et les chambres sont design... mais la qualité des meubles est un peu limite.... notre lit s'est écroulé quand nous nous sommes mis dedans... la roulette d'un des pieds a cédée !! Plus de rires que de mal... et il a été réparé immédiatement !

Rigtig godt hotel med god service. Beliggenheden er 15-20 mins gang fra centrum, men kun 5 min med taxi, som er rigtig billig i Glasgow (ca. 4-5£).

Un superbe hôtel avec des chambre d'un haut standing: ordinateur Imac (pour la télé, internet, radio...), mini bar, dressing éclairé... A quelques km de l'aéroport par l'autoroute.
