Staying here was a truly an experience that no one should miss. It was like being a guest in a friend's Palazzo. The rooms are wonderful and the terrace bar has magnificent views of Florence. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We loved staying here. The best!

This is the most outstanding hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. There simply is no room for improvement. The staff and hotel are an exceptional value and have perfected their business. We stayed in the Junior Fresco Suite and it is gorgeous. It also has a private courtyard with furniture. It will definitely exceed your expectations.

Roof terrace is very good for sunsets, with a great view of the city. Even though it's up a thousand stairs. Staff are very helpful. The shower in our room was a bit like a phone box, but hey, enough.

We were there only two nights and it was the best hotel and service I have ever seen. It is a true palace and we were treated like royalty. Our room was covered in real frescoes with a private court yard, and enjoying the roof top bar watching the Florence sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. They have a small number of rooms, but you feel like the palace is large museum. We loved it.

This was probably the best hotel I have stayed in out of dozens of five star hotels round Europe. Location is perfect, staff are very friendly, the suites are lovely, the roof terrace with views over Florence is worth the price for the room on its own... Fantastic.

A fantastic old Florentine palace with 12 suites and a quaint old elevator. Our room was on the ground floor and the noise from the street was terrible. Our friends stayed upstairs and had no problems. Very difficult to find by car but well worth the effort. My advice would be to park at the airport and get a taxi otherwise you might spend your holiday trying to find the hotel!

just got back from PMF, it was everything we'd hoped for, truely lovely. We stayed in Livia on top floor which faced the main street, although i saw on some reviews that people dont always like that we loved it, it was great to wake up to the sound of a foreign city. glad we stayed that side of the river too, it was less touristy and quite Bohemian. we were there for 5 nights and it was lovely to go back and chill out in out our room or on the fantastic terrace after wandering around all day.

Booked a 5 Star hotel, but the only booking presented was a "standard" suite. Clever trick of the Europeans, it is possible to have a substandard room in a 5 star hotel. This was a former Florentine Palazzo. ..neat...except our "standard" suite was the former servant's quarters and was dark, had low ceilings, was not at all well appointed, and had a lot of street noise. If you are going 5 Star, always make sure you get a "deluxe" room. Notwithstanding the room decor, the service was first rate. And it is in an old Palazzo.

Ottimo soggiorno.Colazione ok.Terrazzo su Firenze unico.Ottimo il primo impatto e quindi l'arrivo.Tutto ok la presentazione.Camera un po rumorosa.In questo periodo mancava il riscaldamento.

hotel situé non loin du centre,les suites sont très bien . la "victoria" située en facade est particuliérement bruyante.

Nous avons été un peu déçus par la suite standard, compte tenu de son prix, mais avons pu par chance obtenir une suite supérieure sur place sans surcoût, pour l'une des nuits. Sinon le service de l'hôtel était irréprochable et la localisation idéale.
