Everything about the hotel was fine except that we waited for an hour at the airport for the shuttle. We finally were finally told that we were supposed to call the hotel when we got to the airport to have them send the shuttle. Maybe you could put this on the website to avoid confusion for other travelers.

Great room for thr money,

After finding this Hotel not far from the Barcelona Airport, wife & I unloaed rental car. She stayed in lobby while I parked car. She stayed with baggage and someone was about to grab our laptop, but she noticed some movement in time to prevent that. There are signs in the elevator warning to watch your stuff. They ought to put a uniformed security person in the lobby. Also, dinner time in Spain is late, but the hotel only has their 20 Euro buffet after 10PM. $28 each for their buffet was a bit much. We went to the pizzaria down the block and spent less than 1/2 for more than we could finish.

Nice place, very fair price for what you get. Superb restaurant--highly recommended to try the lunch menu: exceptional cuisine, service, and a truly reasonable price given the fact that this is one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had in Europe over the course of about 10 trips since the early '90s. Don't forget to arrange your airport pick-up for transport to the hotel at least 1-2 days before you leave on your trip: they will pick you up and bring you to the airport free of charge, almost any hour of day/night, but you must speak with hotel staff and make arrangements in advance. My new wife and I were thrilled to finish our honeymoon in Europe at this pleasant location; very pleased.

Great price for a upscale hotel.

Based on other reviews, we went with an inside room to avoid the noise. Unfortunately, you could hear water run through the pipes everytime someone so much as turned on the faucet in the hotel. The hotel is clean and close to the metro. Internet is free. I'd recommend unless you are a light sleeper.

Hotels.com hotel confirmation said to call hotel for shuttle pickup, however the local phone number was not listed. Not speaking spanish, we had trouble finding the phone number and using the payphones, however the Tourist Information desk (quite a walk from baggage claim) did give us the ph nmbr and mission was accomplished. Even though the hotel was near BCN and shuttle was convenient, the hotel is located in an industrial area on a dark wide street. The area was not conducive to walking, a bit scary, even though we were told we could walk to the train station to take us into town. Hotel was very clean, comfortable, and adequate for our needs.

Room was nice though small. Location is close to the airport and the hotel provides a free shuttle to it. Other than that the location is an industrial area with other residential apartment and lots of graffiti. Other than the airport it was close to nothing but there is a train station a short walk away that gets you to the city center for 2.70 Euro round trip. Elevator is very small and staff spoke limited English. All it all it served the purpose as a place to stay while waiting for our flight but I would not pick it as destination hotel.

Hotel and room were great. Shuttle service to and from the airport but don't count on them geting your family the next day at the airport if all they want is to freshen up before you check-out even if you have 4 hours left on the time.

Arrived via cab from the pier following our cruise. IT was before check-in time, but they had a room available for us. We booked the free airport shuttle for the next day and a wake up call while we checked-in. Nice room complete with small fridge and free bottled water and a couple other bottled drinks. Room also had a safe - you can get a key for the in-room safe by leaving a refundable deposit at the front desk. Good size marble bath with shampoo, shower gel etc. Beds were a little hard for our taste. Hotel had information on tours and the staff quickly used the internet and phone to help us get a tour set up. They also provided excellent directions for getting into Barcelona. It was about a 10 minute walk to the train station - and 3 stops later you are in Barcelona. Train has good signs on board and on the platforms -easy to use and much less expensive than the cabs. If your willing to stay outside of center city, this is a great place with a good price.

Early flight can't be a problem because of the dependable shuttle bus if requested. Free bottled water,juices in the fridge is very helpful. Bed is comfortable & room is clean. Restaurant food prices are not bad.

Charming and unique decor, more reminiscent of a B&B than a large hotel. The bathroom was huge and gorgeous, marble with a big tub, and very thoughtful and cute freebies for travelers that go beyond the usual little bottles of shampoo. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Room service was convenient and tasty, as there did not appear to be a lot of restaurants in the area (although there is one connected to the hotel). Free wi-fi was fast and reliable. I could not find the free airport shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel (and the cab ride is pricey), but the shuttle was free and wonderfully easy in the morning. Overall, a great place to stay for a night near the airport, or a cheaper option if you don't want to be in the thick of things in Barcelona!

The lobby was spacious, desk personnel efficient. Restaurant service was good. Menu was limited, but food was very good. The room was very nice--pillows could have been better. Appreciated free wireless available in the room.

I was very satisfied with the property. Clean hotel and room and 10 minutes from Barcelona airport. Hotel offers free shuttle from / to airport. Hotel is approximately 2 blocks walking distance from the train station. From there you can take the #10 train that will take you into Barcelona city for less than 2 Euros per person one way. Train ride is about 15 min.

Very nice Hotel very concern about the ambient,on how use the electricity. Very preatty. We love it. spanish: Muy buen Hotel y muy concientes del ambiente en relacion al uso de la electricidad. Nos encanto el lugar muy bonito.

good location, free airport shuttle definately a plus, breakfast was ridiculously expensive 15 euros each, room was comfortable, employees were nice and helpful but only a few spoke english. overall a good 1 or 2 night stay

My number one comment would be to make sure you have some change (in euros) to make a phone call to get the shuttle from the airport. Our cell phones didn't work, we only had change in American money, and it was difficult to get info at the airport. But the experience at the hotel was great. The food in the restaurant was good, but a bit on the expensive side. There are a couple restaurants down the street, but they close early. This is a great stop over for cruise goers. Taxis are always out front and it about 20 euros to get to the port.

We and another couple had two rooms at this hotel. The hotel is nice, the room was nice and clean, but the air conditioning in both rooms just wouldnt work. The maid they sent to fix the air conditioning knew less than we did about the system. We spent a very uncomfortable night.

Positives convenient for airport. Need to telephone for free shuttle service. Ideal if you arrive late or have an early flight from the airport. Free soft-drinks in room. Easy to get to the city by bus 165 express 1.30euros. Negatives were uncomfortable pillows & we had room by lift shaft and suffered buzzing all night.

wonderful staff and outstanding room. They even arranged to take us to the cruise ship. Room full of pluses. Best value to the $.

We only had a few hours overnight in Barcelona between flights, so we weren't in the room that long. But it was a nice clean room with good amenities and it was a good value for the price we paid.

Very convenient location, 5 min away from Barcelona's airport. Free shuttle service. Clean rooms.

The hotel worked well for a layover point for a Medateranian Cruise we took. Make sure you have the phone number for the hotel when you get to the airport as you need to call for the free shuttle. The shuttle arrives between terminals B & C at baggage claim level. We were very pleased with the shuttle service. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the Hotel. train tickets cost about 7 euro for 24 hr pass and the train takes you to Barcelona station in about 15 min. A taxi cost about 20 euro and takes about 20 min to the Rambla or the port. Food at the hotel was very good, ecspecially the coffee!!

Beds definately too hard and Pillow was a joke.

We picked this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. Everything was good except the air conditioning in the room did not work well. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was outstanding. We bought internet minutes so we could print our airline boarding passes, only to find out after we had used the computer that their printer did not work. The front desk clerk did not seem very apologetic about the problem.

We arrived at Barcelona's airport around 9:30 P.M. It took the better part of 30-40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive (even though the hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport). There is apparently only a single shuttle vehicle which on busy nights is a problem. Once we got to the hotel we found the hotel restaurant closing. There were no nearby open restaurants at that time (certainly not anywhere we would dare to walk). We found when trying to depart early the next morning the shuttle did not start again until 7:00 a.m. so ended up having to take a taxi to the airport (39 Euros for 4 of us with bags). Rooms were average (good size & finish but bed & linens were below par.) Overall if you plan to arrive late or leave early and need the shuttle I would suggest trying another nearby hotel - possibly the Renaissance (3 of its shuttles came & went while we waited for the Del Prat's shuttle).

Hotel very convient for Airport on 10 mins away by car. The hotel shuttle service picks you up from the airport terminal when you arrive and takes you there when you depart. Staff very helpfully. They both understood and spoke English. Room clean with a good decor. The cost of meals was quite pricey but were of good qualityand very tasty. Train station only 10 mins walk away. There you can catch train to centre of Barcelona and beyond.

Hotel was good but front desk info on location of things in the hotel was laking. Pool closed early at 9:00PM. Difficulty in getting shuttle for transport from the airport to the hotel. No telephone number for the hotel is provided. Had to wait for the shuttle to go to the airport and return again before being able to go to the airport, even though we were signed up for a specific time.

The room was clean. The location had ok access to the train (about a 3 block walk). Taxis were also available. The staff was friendly. The only real problem I had was that I had to keep getting my key card reprogrammed. Every day. I would recommend this hotel for the business traveler who needs to be near the airport on the last day of a trip.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The customer service was very good, and the front desk staff was very helpful. Locations of hotel was very convenient for airport travel and a complimentary shuttle bus to the airport is provided. The hotel is a few blocks away from a train station that will take you straight into Las Ramblas, and the local neighborhood is very quiet with a few local stores and cafes. In comparison to other hotels in Barcelona, this one has great accommodations.

The hotel was clean and had a good ambience. The rooms were spacious and the hotel provided complimentary water,juice and soda. It was great to be close to the airport and the hotel provided transportation. There are a few eaterires within walking distant (pizza parlor, fresh pastry store, fresh fruit and vegetble store. The train station to go to downtown Barcelona is about 4 easy walking blocks away from the hotel. I highly recommend the hotel to travelers who want to stay close to the airport for a resonable rate.

The hotel is very close to the Barcelona Intl Airport and they have 24 hours service to and from Airport. The hotel is nice and clean. The food in the hotel is very expensive, 15 Euro for breakfast but you find other restaurants very close. The people in the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel although not in the center of town is located in a quaint area of town. There are shops and restaurants. The hotel is only a short walk to the train station and takes less than 10 mins to the center of town. The indoor pool was a great way to wind down before dinner. We will stay there again on our next rip to Barcelona.

The Hotel was near the airport with free airport shuttle, however, after waiting 45 minutes in the rain at the Barcelona Airport for the shuttle that never came, I took a 20 Euro taxi which the hotel refused to re-imburse me after I complained. Having said that, the room was spacious, clean, free water & soft drinks, and the free shuttle to the airport in the morning was right on time. The hotel is in the middle of no where, but only a ten minute walk to the 5 Euro train to downtown Barcleona. The train back to the hotel stops running at 11:30 PM, so we had to take another rather expensive taxi from the city to the hotel. Good Value for the money and I would definately stay there again...sure beats the high price of staying in the city!

This was the largest hotel room we ever had in Europe! Marble floors and new amenities. There is a good restaurant down the street to the right. Lla...something. The 2nd Pizza place to the right. Lots of locals go there on weekends. The airport shuttle runs on the 1/2 hour. Nice for the price. Good for pre and post Cruise stays. Get on and off your cruiseship to this hotel. Free shuttle to and from the airport.

This was a very well located hotel to the metro and to the airport. While I would not say it was the most comfortable...the bed was hard and the pillows were long and skinny, as well as a shower that drizzled water...no pressure at all. I would still recommend it as it was clean and easy to commute to the center of Barcelona, with free shuttle to the airport.

Great Hotel, It was a high point for us in Barcelona. Fodd in resturant was fabulous, the best meal we had in Barcelona. Not all clerks can tell time in english, don't understand the difference between 12:30 and 12:13.

Very good hotel to spend a night if you have an early flight the next day. Good restaurant.
