Motel 6 Anaheim Main Gate - Anahaimas

This motel was nice for your middle-class family going to Disneyland etc. The noise was my only complaint. The noise ws due not so much the thin walls as the loud families pouring out of mini-vans and kids screaming. the staff spoke English well and where helpful. So if you are on a budget vacation this is nice motel over all what one expects from this chain.

wow,I have stayed at this hotel before when it was Red roof inn, now, motel 6 has taken over. Very Clean, newly remodeled, harwood floors, up todate amenities, soft beds, clean pool, great service staff, and close to disneyland. shuttle bus service available to Disneyland resort. GREAT AIR CONDITIONING.

everything is as expected but they should provide at least a hair-dryer. great location!

This room was exactly what I needed; I just needed a quiet place to crash for the night-no frills. It did the job wonderfully.

This newly renovated hotel met all our needs and exceeded our expectations! We arrived 4 hours before checkin and we were accomodated with a room immediately. The rooms were super clean and we loved the new furnishings and the flat screen TV. Walking distance from Disneyland and all sorts of dining and entertainment. There is no fancy or luxurious amenities but hey, we spent no time in our room. Having stayed at pricier hotels in this area we are thrilled to have found this hotel. Definitely going to stay here again and save some serious cash!!

We were looking for something cheap since it was just a place to sleep. This hotel was clean and the employees were friendly. It was by no means luxury, but it did the job and was a great price. I would stay again!

This Motel 6 is great. The new rooms are wonderful. Very worth the price and great location to the park. Would stay again.

A newly renovated hotel for budget minded guests. We had a spacious 2 double bed room. Daily housekeeping included. Flat screen tv in room. Mini shuttered doors to close off large bath. Bright colors with IKEA like furnishings. Nice clean pool & jacuzzi. Very helpful and professional staff. 1/2 mile from Disneyland's main gate. Plenty of restaurants in area from fast food to fine dining. Look forward to staying at the hotel on my next trip to Anaheim.

We walked to Disneyland (it's just a few blocks) but there is a shuttle service available. The room was larger than expected, the TV was larger than expected and the bath was nice but it didn't have a fan.

This was a very nice remodeled hotel. Modern furnishings & a very sizable room & bathroom. Very comfortable for 2 ppl. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool & jacuzzi were wonderful as well. This hotel exceeded my expectations. If you're on a budget & need a base hotel 1/2 mile from Disneyland's main entrance, this is for you. Plenty of affordable restaurants in the area too. Only minor imperfections were no alarm clock in room & towels & wash clothes on the sparse side. A nice girls weekend getaway on an econo budget.

Advertizes mini fridge and microwaves but thats only in the lobbey areas. No shampoo and no complimentary internet

While being one of the more inexpensive places to stay, the first thing that stuck out was the puddles of water, and the mats outside our room were saturated with water, walking in I nearly slipped and fell as the laminate whatever was slick, and we instantly were tracking footprints everywhere. There was only the floor towel and a bath towel, no wash clothes, no hand towel. Had to actually go to the front desk to ask for more towels, and on our second night, we had no wash cloths, no floor mat, one hand towel, and two bath towels. I've worked in this industry and I know it can be a challenge to keep enough clean linens and towels when dealing with a high volume of guests, but I was seriously surprised by the lack of care the maintenance crew had towards the guests. Had we not had these issues I would have been much more keen to give a higher rating.

THIS IS A CHEAP HOTEL SO I WENT THERE WITH THE PROPER EXPECTATIONS!! AND THAT IS WHAT WE GOT!!! IT IS WITH IN WALKING DISTANCE TO DISNEYLAND BUT IS A GOOD 3-4 BLOCKS AWAY...BUT THEY DO HAVE THE SHUTTLE WHICH IS WHAT WE ENDED UP USING MOST OF THE TIME!! THE BEDS WERE HARD AND NOT VERY COMFORTABLE, SMALL BATH TOWELS AND ONE DAY THE DID NOT CLEAN OUR ROOM UNTIL ALMOST 6PM...BUT FOR A HOTEL FOR DISNEYLAND IT WORKED OUT FINE FOR US!! BARELY IN THE ROOM ANYWAY.

We really searched through all the reveiws online and wanted a hotel that did not have any issues with cleanliness. This hotel seemed like it was good and so we went ahead and reserved the room. We arrived really tierd from driving from Utah and called to see if we could check in a little early - the girl at the front desk was extremely rude with her response of no. Upon arrival to the hotel, the evening front desk personnel were extremely nice and accomodating in giving us a room that we would be able to see the fireworks from. Our room looked clean and open when we arrived, but turing down the covers revealed dried blood on the sheets, and what looked like dry boogers. Then 3 out of the 5 towels in the bathroom had hairs on them- not just a little hair, but little wads of hair. Nasty! The shampoo that was left was horrible so if you go, definately bring your own.

THE ROOMS LOOKED GREAT, BUT THE BEDS WERE NOT VERY COMFORTABLE. I LIKED THE FACT THAT THEY HAD A LITTLE TABLE FOR TO EAT AT. MY KIDS LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE MOTEL.

front desk staff were reasonably helpful and friendly. room needs furniture--looks like they just cut back on their budget and cut-out furniture. otherwise, the room was very nice and much better than the average Motel6's i've stayed at. the pool was nice and clean.

Had shuttle service that went directly to Disneyland and picked us up, which was very helpful. The room was clean, and the staff was helpful. Location was great, with a gas station and other restaurants nearby.

I was there for just one night with my parents. Left my luggage at locker room before going to disneyland..and checked in later after day of fun. Perfect comfort and a good night's sleep. They should probably have more employees at front desk because it took 1 hr for me just waiting to check in. but..overall..Awesome experience.

One big problem was the service staff never had any towels very hard to dry off with a wash cloth

Clean and modern room. As others said, needs a dresser or closet to put clothes in. There is room for both. Very responsive and friendly staff. Like the small gift shop to buy water, snacks, etc. Overall, good value.

Stayed 4 days, rooms were not cleaned until 4-6 pm every day. Had to ask for towels. If you wanted to use an iron you had to turn in your driver's license at the front desk for it. No shampoo. No coffee maker, however they did have free coffee at the front desk. No one would answer at the front desk if you called. Would not stay there again.

great to have a stylish orange-decorated room for this price! however, no clock, breakfast, hairdryer, tissue, fridge, shampoo, the list goes on. the television reception was a bit poor. also, i didn't find the bed very comfortable. no extra charge for parking in this area is nice, and the pool looked great, although we didn't use it. close to downtown disney, the science center, OC county fair, etc. so that's nice. very clean, and i approved of the laminate floors over crawly carpet.

The hotel was perfect, considering the price it was just excellent. However, i wish they would have told us that we had to renew our key each day, and not that night at 11:30pm after a long and exhausting day. It was just terrible not being able to get in your room, but instead having to wait until they were sure you were the registered guest, other than that it was great.

Well this was our second time to disneyland this year, and this time we decided to try the Motel 6 instead of the hotel we stayed at last time. When I booked the room, and saw the pictures, I was very impressed with the overall reviews and comments. The hotel was easy to find, and in very good loaction. From our room we were able to watch the fireworks from Disneyland! The room was very nice. Hard wood floors, 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave, and a LCD Flatt screen TV in the wall, with HDMI port too :). Was a very nice surprise! And there was several different channels to chose from. The room was overall clean and well kept, except the floors were dirty. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The signs to direct you to your room were a little confusing. Even though we didn't make it in to the pool and spa, they looked very clean and well kept as well. Overall it was a very nice hotel for the one night and the price, and we will stay again in the future!

Great value for the money. Rooms are clean and efficient. New hardwood floors and LCD TV make them seem larger and much more open. No breakfast on-site, which is a pain with kids. Easy walk to WDL. Much faster to walk than to drive and park on-site. Would definitely go back with family.

The rooms were a bit too noisy as it appears guests were allowed to swim in the pool at almost all hours. Also there wasn't enough furniture in the room. No dresser or chest of drawers just a few small shelves. We had 4 people in the room and we had to live out of suitcases which isn't ideal w/kids.

Ok motel if your looking for something inexpensive . Outside parameters are very filthy . Whatever you do make sure you dont get a room above the maids storage/laundry area ,the floors shake all night .

ITS A NICE HOTEL. GREAT LOCATION BUT WE DID NOT HAD TOWELS, THEIR WAS NO TRASH CAN, PILLOWS WITH NO PILLOW CASES.THE FRONT DESK STAFF VERY RUDE, HOUSEKEEPING PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT THEIR WAS NO TOWELS IN THE WHOLE HOTEL THAT THEY HAD NO MATERIAL TO WORK WITH , IT WASN'T THEIR FAULT, I GOT TOWELS LIKE AROUND 4 PM,,VERY NICE GIRL ANDA I UNDERSTAND THAT IT WASN'T THEIR FAULT.. NO WONDER IT WAS CHEAP.. I RATHER PAY MORE MONEY AND ENJOY MY ROOM ,, I LEARNED FOR NEXT TIME

We were a little worried about this hotel as the price was one of the lowest and there were a couple poor comments on the site. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the modern rooms and proximity to Disneyland(a several block walk, but doable with a stroller for the kids. There were no bad noises as previously mentioned by other patrons. Our only problem was the apparent lack of training at the front desk. We were initially checked into a non-smoking room which reeked of cigarette smoke and developed a a sink clog within 24 hours. We were asked by the staff to relocate as this room apparently was not to be occupied--and we were happy to do so. The second room was excellent and we were able to view the fireworks from Disneyland every night. Keeping in mind that this room was so inexpensive we are more than satisfied even with the minor inconveniences. Wish the front staff was a little more friendly, but once again--overall we had a great stay. We would stay here again.

Had a great room with a poolside view. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The lobby had free coffee and hot chocolate for the kids.

They were in the process of renovating their hotel. The new rooms looked great...very modern. Construction noise was never a problem and the hotel was in a great location. When we decided to extend our stay the staff was able to help us out with a great price.

No Dressers!! Otherwise a great hotel, dont drive to Disney, either take the shuttle ($4.00/adult $1.00 for child 3-9 round trip) or walk the 4 blocks to main gate. Pool was clean, room was large enough to set up our portacrib without crowding. Will stay there again.

I was a little worried staying here because we have stayed at other motel 6 and they were ok for what you pay that is. My fiance and 2 yr old baby loved it, very roomy, clean,and loved the flat screen tv. I will definately stay here again next time we visit Disneyland, the only thing that was wrong was its a 15 min walk and for a tired 2 year old it seems like an eternity.

Several employees that worked there were awesome and a great help. Others seemed to be lost or overwhelmed when they were busy at the front counter. Rooms were modern and newly redone, love the wood floors and the big flat screen TV on the wall. The rooms do not have a dresser in them. Spoke with the hotel manager and she agreed that they should have them. Hopefully corporate will see this and fix it, especialy when you have families staying for multiple days. Overall, a great hotel for the money and would definately go back.

The rooms were decent because of they were newly renovated rooms, but there was no trash cans, no wash cloths, very little shampoo and soap. The cable feed must of had a few splitters because the signal was fuzzy. Employees that worked their were nice, but you have to ask for everything or leave your first born to borrow a iron and ironing board. No continental breakfast. They did have a good shuttle service that was cheaper than parking at the theme parks.

Had a wonderful visit. you pull out of the parking lot and 2 driveways down is Disney parking very convienent. The room shook at one point pretty hard, we realized it was the Hotels Laundry room. we never felt it again. newly upgraded, very cute, very modern look. Would for sure stay again.

the only issue i had repeatedly is that the front desk was always busy with a line customers and usually only one person helping customers and answering the phone. This was very frustrating when all I needed to do was get a few clean towels or ask a simple question.

The front desk staff was courteous and helpful in term of accomodation. The room was clean and well organized but a bit too close to the nearby freeway. Finding a parking spot was a challenge at night. Overall it was worth the price.
