Sangallo Park Hotel - Siena

We enjoyed Sangallo Park Hotel very much. The location is outside of Siena. We had a car so this wasn't really an issue. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. Beakfast was good and plentiful with choices of cereals, yogurt, meat, cheese, and breads. The staff in the breakfast was great. Very attentive and quick to bring you your morning coffee. Pool was nice but they could have used a few more chairs. The front desk staff was good but a little too business-like. There was one exception-Eleonora. She was very helpful, always smiling, and made you feel like more than just a guest.

The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable, and is situated on a hill out of the city center. It took 40 mins to walk into Siena, occasionally having to dodge traffic. There is a bus stop nearby, and the trip takes 10-15 mins.

Come on now. It's 2008. This hotel doesn't have computers for their guests to use. Also, we reserved a NON-Smoking room and they gave us a room that smelled so badly of smoke, we had to be moved to another room. This room was ok except that it was set by them not to go below 22 degrees celsius. We were never able to get it below 26 celsius due to a problem with the A/C circuit board. It was very uncomfortable and warm. We spent 3 nights there. We would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel moderne agréable ( piscine) à quelques km du centre de Sienne. Bon petit déjeuner

Leuk hotelletje op een heuvelrug net buiten de stad. Er rijden wel bussen, maar de laatste bus is om 19.15 dus is niet echt handig. Eigen vervoer is dus wel wenselijk, dan ben je binnen 10 minuten in de stad. Het hotel zelf is prima, redelijk ontbijt, leuk zwembadje erbij.

Bra parkering för bil. Fin vy över staden. Kanske hotell kunde haft hämtmöjlighet inne i Siena. Taxi var svårt att få tag i efter 24.00 !! Annars rent, snyggt och en god frukost på morgonen.

We spent two weeks in Italy at 5 different hotels and maybe this was the (or one of the) best taking all aspects into account. The hotel is nicely located outside Siena and rec ommended if you have a car. No idea about other (public) connections but a taxi to the city costs 10-15 Euros only. Very service orineted reception staff - they recommended restaurants at our request and even informed us about one being closed a particular evening (then another alternaive was recommended). Swimming pool and surroundings are very nice. Room was of very good standard and clean as well as recently furbished. Breakfeast good but without 'hot' items such as bacon or eggs. There is no restaurant in the hotel but a good local (very popular) pizzeria/restuarnt at a walking distance (10 minutes). The night-portier tried to do a map of how to find it but he was not very good resulting in some difficulties (although he was trying his very best) - try to get a real map instead.

Na een warme autorit was het heerlijk om een frisse duik in het zwembad(je) te kunnen nemen. Het uitzicht vanaf de heuvel op Siena is prachtig. Kamers en ontbijt zijn goed verzorgd.

Ottima struttura, un po' distante dal centro. Bella la piscina e molto silenzioso...l'ideale per chi è automunito (Siena è un inferno per i parcheggi...consigliato quello dello stadio)

L'hôtel se trouve en-dehors du centre ville et possède un parking. Ce qui est agréable. La réception est serviable et donne des infos valables pour les restaurants aux alentours car l'hôtel ne possède pas de services "déjeuners et dîners". Le petit déjeuner est correct, mais le personnel est vite débordé en week-end. Les chambres sont de qualité suffisante pour cette catégorie.

Parkplatz, Frühstück OK, Zimmer bestens

Ha parcheggio privato, le camere sono ottime, la posizione è tranquilla. Per arrivare al centro di Siena 5 minuti in macchina oppure bus. Consiglio decisamente se viaggiate in auto.
