Great location on the Bund, ample taxi availability, spacious rooms with wonderful views of the river. I expected more staff to speak English, but was still able to get everywhere I wanted.

Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the river bund. There were quite a few of the major tourist attractions close to our hotel. It was a long way from the airport.

If staying with a family this must be one of the best hotels in Shanghai

This is my second time at this hotel.I do not speak chinese and sometimes it can be difficult to get to your hotel if the taxi driver does not read chinese... I picked this hotel because it is right next to a land mark, the Pearl TV Tower (looks like the Seattle Space Needle). You can even pick up a free map of the city before you leave the airport and it is on it. The location is the best, because it is right near lots to do...Bund/Park, The Wall (new), TV Tower, Shopping, business... View of the park is just as nice as the River view and I have had both. The hotel is nice and a good value... not 5 star but worth the hotels.com price. The staff was very nice and helpful. I will stay there again next time I go to Shanghai.

Staff is attentive and excellent. Most speak very good English. Good central location. Beautiful meeting spaces. Room fell a bit short on cleanliness but only a bit. Water has a sulfur smell.

This is a convention center so it might be busy if there is a convention but when I stayed, there wasn't any and it was pretty quiet. The room was quite big in size. The carpet unfortunately needed to be burned however they did provide slippers. The bathroom had separate shower and tub. They provide running drinking water which was a plus but ours kept leaking so we had to use a towel. We had a harbour view room which was really nice, kind of a side view but nonetheless, you could see everything. The staff was extremely courtious and all knew english which was a big plus. Location was excellent. One complaint was no iron or board, had to request it. Although the closet space was plentiful. The beds were quite comfortable. On some nights though the lounge singers were quite loud even with the window closed.

Great hotel in a great location in Pudong with a view of the Bund. Excellent facility and excellent service.

Restaurant did not have any options, they checked me in to a dirty room although they cleaned up quicly I was not offered an option of room. Had to sit and wait until the room was ready, I am sure this is a good hotel to the Chinese but not great to the business traveler, stick with the bigger chains.

We travel extensively in Asia and though out China. There seems to be a cleaning agent which is widely used in cheap-o hotels around the country. This was no exception. The lobby had a strong chemical smell. The tile in the bathroom was moldy. Food was good. Location was excellent. Comfort and other cleanliness was ok.

Im Zimmer war, trotz Nichtraucher-Angabe, ein intensiver Rauch-Geruch. Die Ecken im Zimmer waren schmutzig und staubig - machte wirklich keinen guten Eindruck - zum Glück war ich nur 1 Nacht dort.

Some rooms are really far away from the elevator. One of the Staff in business center can?t speak very good English, but tried her best to help. Room is big and nice.
