Days Hotel London Waterloo - Londonas

Spent about a day searching for a good value hotel, close to a tube station and close to town! also wanted somewhere to store our lugguge as many travel lodges don't. Entrance was open and welcoming, staff very friendly and helpful, our twin room was ideal, clean and comfy beds. Breakfast was extra but delicious and plenty! For the price we paid it was perfect.

For the money this hotel was a bargain. The staff was nice and the room was adequate. There were only one major complaint: it was summer and the room had no air conditioning. The hotel was across from a police station, so the outside noise was horrible. The best part of this hotel was the location: only two blocks from Lambert North Subway station. So it was easy to take the subway anywhere in London. If you like to walk, you can easily walk to the London Eye and the Thames River.

Nice hotel located within walking distance of House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, etc. Easy underground route to hotel from Heathrow.

Stayed here for a week-end. Very central location, easyily within walking distance of London Eye, Big Ben etc and a tube station

Location was excellent for central london. Hotel was nice and clean. Parking was good. Would stay again

We weren't there that long but everyone seemed to be very nice. We checked in past midnight so nothing was open. The room was pretty small but we just needed a bed. The shower was the size of a phone booth but it did the job. The bed was a little hard but they all seem to be in Europe. The next morning the staff was just as nice and as helpful. They seemed to really care how our stay was.

My husband and I originaly booked a handicap accessible room with a Queen bed on the first floor. When I called a month before, they did not have us in a wheelchair accessible room for some reason. They easily switched our reservation and said we would either have a queen bed or 2 double beds, which we said would be fine because we could still sleep together in a double bed. When we arrived, we were given a handicap accessible room with 2 TWIN beds, not double. They confirmed that our reservation was for a queen bed, but there were no other handicap rooms available and that we could switch to a non-handicap room if we liked. We ended up just pushing the beds together and leaving it at that. Big mistake. When we returned after a day of sight seeing, we realized that the outdoor smoking area for the hotel was directly outside our window. People were outside yelling, laughing, carrying on and even playing instruments. When we complained we were told they were fully booked so they could no longer switch our room and that they were in the heart of London and we would have to expect noise. It was so loud we thought our windows were open and they weren't! The man at the front desk said he would ask them to quiet down but it didn't help. We had to turn up the TV (very bad selection of channels) and put on a fan on high to drown out the noise to sleep. No air conditioning either. The only positive I found was that we got the early check in we requested along with the hot breakfast, a clean room and we had hot water. Thank goodness we were only staying one night!

This hotel offered a reasonable alternative in a good location for doing business in the greater London area. It is centrally located in walking distance to Waterloo Station and offers good internet service. While the area around the hotel does not offer extensive entertainment, shopping, and restaurants, it is affordable and not as cramped as comparably priced options.

Helt greit hotel i forhold til pris. Naturlig nok en del støy fra gatene utenfor. Er dog vesentlig roligere her, enn det er i f.ex. Bayswater/Queensway-området !

The hotel is not bad, though reconstruction of hotel rooms would be nice, specially bathrooms. But I think they try to keep the hotel clean, that's the most important thing. It is a great location, you can get to the centre very easily, but on the other side it is noisy place so if you need a quite place to have a good sleep, this is not suitable hotel at all. Also double bed is quite small and the mattress is very soft, so soft that when one person moves the other one is awake. If I go to London again, I will not use this hotel, but mostly because of the noise, I prefer more quite place with bigger bed :o)

Vänlig personal. Helt ok rum o badrum till vettigt pris. om man ska säga något negativt så är det trafiken som hördes men annars var allt helt ok.

Ikke frokost, internett koster ekstra og var ekstremt ustabilt i 5 etg. måtte ned i resepsjonen for å bruke det 3 av de 7 dagene vi bodde på hotellet. Frokost koster ekstra, lite rom men grei nok standard.

Het is zondermeer een goed hotel, goed bereikbaar met de metro, goede keuken voor het diner; alleen......de bedden zijn wat smal..... maar dat is ook alles wat er aante merken valt

Et rart hotel med god komfort. Venligt personale. Værelset var fint, omend lovlig lille. Meget fint og rent. Udluftningen kunne dog være gjort bedre-der var en kraftig lugt af sved fra tidligere beboere.
