Holiday Inn Heidelberg - Heidelbergas

The hotel was a great value for the money paid. Was about a 5 minute walk to a bus stop that takes you right to the Castle and shopping. Breakfast was not included in our rate and was pricey to eat at hotel. We walked 5 min into the neighborhood and found a corner deli with great sandwiches. The room was small but we were only there to sleep anyway. Overall the staff was nice and the room was comfortable. We would stay here again. Great hotel for the money.

This hotel is about 5-10 mins out of town, which was ideal for our purposes. We were at the end of a long trip, had a Frankfurt flight the next day, and wanted to rest in a quiet place. We had a car, so got into Heidelberg on a Sunday afternoon v. quickly, did our touring and ate out. The hotel parking is a nuisance, as if you want to park free you have to go around the corner to a free lot. (But the staff were v. friendly and told us where to park.) The Hotels.com rate was excellent, about 40% off. We did not eat in the hotel, but prices seemed fair.

Poor, during our trip to Germany all breakfasts were included and this hotel also had breakfast. But when we went our specific room was listed as no breakfast and it cost an additional $90.00 when we checked out. A portion of that was parking but over $60.00 was just for a breakfast that should have been included. Overall, this hotel was the low spot of the vacation trip.

This is a very nice clean comfortable hotel. The only thing to keep in mind. It is miles away from downtown Heidelberg, and you will either need a rental car or a taxi to get here. This is a bus, but it usually hard to learn bus routes in unfamilar towns.

My story: Rude customer service; cheap rooms, no coffee maker, 8 euros just to park; claim their sign ( 4x4 inches on the box) explains it all; no good response to my complaints

Hotel o Motel questo è il dilemma... si trova alle porte della città , non molto comodo , le camere sono in linea con la categoria anche se costosa.Camera e Bagno son funzionali, manca la connessione Internet o meglio si paga 9 euro per 24 ore quando altri Hotel oramai la offrono compreso nel prezzo e non puoi neanche utilizzare una postazione nella hall dell'albergo perchè anche quella a pagamento. Il nostro giudizio è per un "mordi e fuggi".
