Villa Liana - Florence

My daughter and I fell in love with Villa Liana!! Our stay here was wonderful! The room was comfortable and larger than what we expected. I had warned my 12 year old in advance about the size of the rooms and bathrooms in Europe... but this exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to be helpful... even making my daughter scrambled eggs which were not on the breakfast buffet! The breakfast was fresh and abundant. We had a problem connecting to the internet with our iTouch... so the staff gave us free internet time until we figured it out. The location was not on a busy street and yet close enough to be able to walk to sights or catch the bus. I can't say enough about this hotel... we will definitely return!!

We got the two room apartment at the hotel and it was nice, clean and was fairly large. Each room had a sink in it in addition to there being a large bathroom. However, the morning breakfast was only okay with the provided coffee being a instant of some sort. The parking situation required an extra 15 euros per day which was not something we were aware of in the price that we paid. Add to that the parking was extremely cramped and you were required to leave the car keys in case the staff needed to move it. When we left, someone was complaining that their car was moved and damaged. The rooms did not have screens on the windows so we got a lot of mosquito bites at night. The distance from downtown Florence wasn't too bad - about a 20-30 minute walk.

Hotel is at located in walking distance from Academia and the Dome. It’s a nice bed and breakfast facility that offers a flavor of Italian living.

Great place. Fredrick, Luigi, and Laura (chk spelling) were great hosts. Very clean and short walk to major sites. Would stay again.

The hotel was a little out of the way, but we enjoyed walking to and from the hotel each day. Our room and bathroom were spacious and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The one complaint I had was that our bathroom smelled slightly of sewage at some points during our stay. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Our room was very spacious and clean. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had of the three cities we stayed at in Italy. It is a few blocks from all of the major attractions but easily walkable and it is in a very nice section of town with a park right at the corner.

Nice hotel, great value for money. Bed was uncomfortable. Front desk staff very helpful.

If you do not want to stay in the heart of the historic district but still within walking distance, this is the good hotel. One block from The Four Seasons Florence and Piazza Donatello. Staff were nice, breakfast was OK - not great.

A great little hotel; easy check-in; plenty of good stuff for breakfast; drop the key in at reception - go out for a great day around Florence - pick the key up. What more do you want? Beautiful room, quiet location, we found everywhere within walking distance. Fantastic.

This hotel was fantastic. The room is spacious and nicely decorated with authentic furniture. leading off the room was a really nice little balocny. A nice quiet place to relax. The hotel is really close to the centre. Everything you need is within walking distance. The staff were all very friendly too. There was a great selection for breakfast, every thing you need.
