Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort - Garden Grovas

We had a great time once again at the Homewood Suites in Anaheim/Garden Grove. Location was great with a lot of food options right outside your door, including a Starbucks. The staff was pleasant and friendly, even remembering me from a few months ago upon check in. As always they were quick and accomodating. The suites are roomy for two, with seperate living/kitchen area, good for spreading out and great for soring the extra water and eats we brought. The workout room is a bit sparce, but suits my needs. Although I haven't used the pool, it looks large and inviting. I've so enjoyed my stays here, we're recommending the Homewood suites to all of the out of town guests for my sister's Disneyland wedding next year!

I was on business and ended up staying in this hotel next to Disney. But it was centrally located for me, a great value and just what I needed and expected. I love Homewood . . . they do a great job!

The pool area was great...large pool, small "kiddie" pool (very shallow) and a hot tub. Patio surrounding pool has lots of umbrella tables with chairs, and lounge chairs. Kids enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Great option for us and our 3 kids.

This is outstanding hotel, great room, great service. Very convenient for families with childrens.

The rooms were very clean and large! Convenient to Disneyland with the shuttle right outside. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Staying again, and recomended it to my sister who is getting married next year for her guests.

It is in fact the "best hotel" the kids have ever stayed in. For my part, I enjoy the breakfasts that come with the room and the OPTION of being able to cook if need be. (There is a local Target with food stuffs and a Pizza Hut for deliveries.) The ANAHEIM RAPID TRANSIT (ART) buses stop at the hotel and are reasonable (get the all day pass). Two complaints would be the recent decision to charge for parking (which adds to the hotel's nightly rate) and the lack of recyclables during breakfast (we've bypassed this by bringing down plates from the room and using the dishwasher after).

The price seemed great for the hotel look, proximity to Disneyland and the inclusion of a large breakfast. However when we woke up in the morning we had bite marks on our legs. A little scary considering that the news is saying some hotels are having a problem with bed bugs. We were surprised that this would be one of them. We normally only stay at Hilton hotles.

Overall, satisfied with the hotel. The staff was very attentive and helpful. There were also several good restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint is that they now charge for parking and the shuttle to Disney is $4/person/day, neither of which were mentioned in the information on hotels.com. Overall, a great place to stay for the price.

Just returned from a last minute trip to Disneyland. This hotel was great for my family of 7!! The kids loved it, comfortable beds, great breakfast and close to the shuttle for Disney. My ONLY complaint would be the water temp and pressure in the mornings. If you like a hot shower, you better shower at night!

Good Value for the dollar. Clean, great food, quiet. Need more elevators. Staff friendly. Would recommend staying on first or second floor as to avoid using the elevator. Would recommend.

The staff was wonderful and the rooms where very nice and clean. My family will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel all around. However, rooms are not completely sound-proof, but no noise during sleeping hours.

My husband and I along with out four children, recently stayed at Homewood Suites while on vacation in Disneyland. It was the best hotel we have stayed at in a very long time. The room was amazing, the service was awesome and the food was outstanding. We could not have asked for a more wonderful addition to our vacation.

First of all, we arrived early, actually very early, before 9 am since we were on our way to Disneyland. We stopped by the hotel to see if we could drop off our luggage. They allowed us to check in right away! Even better we were able to take advantage of the breakfast that morning and it was delicious! I loved the hot and cold options and access to fountain drinks. The waffle makers were a treat! They had fruit and bagels that we actually took with us to the park. Homewood Suites enabled us to save quite a bit money by eating breakfast and snacks during the day. We didn't make it back for the evening reception but I'm sure it would have been good enough for our family - walking around Disneyland all day long works up quite an appetite. We also didn't have time to enjoy the pool area but it looked lovely! I loved the suites, especially how there was a separate bedroom. The decor was very up-to-date and the beds were fabulously comfortable. We all slept wonderfully. I will definitely be booking a room here when we come back in 2010. There was nothing I didn't like about Homewood Suites in Garden Grove. We are a family of five and this was our first visit to Disneyland. Thank you, Homewood Suites, for making it a great experience for all! You kept our tummies full and we slept like babies at night. For the money, I can't imagine doing any better. This was the best value I've ever seen. The distance to Disneyland would be the only drawback, but there are many nice hotels in the same situation and the local transportation worked just fine. Just make sure to get the schedule ahead of time.

I LOVED OUR STAY IT WAS VERY COMFY AND WITH THE AMENITIES IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. WOULD STAY AGAIN ANYTIME.

I got the queen suite. It was great comfortable, roomy, and clean. Outstanding service, breakfast in the morning good way to start your day.

The suite had a nice little kitchen along with a comfortable living/office area. The bedroom was very comfortable as well. The breakfast and dinner offerings were great - we could get a nice breakfast and head out early to the park. Then we would come home in the late afternoon, rest up and head down for the dinner. Then it was off to the park again. The dinners were quite healthy - always had a salad available. It was perfect for the kids. Only thing we didn't like was waiting 30 minutes for the next transit bus if you had just missed one.

This hotel is excellent for families with young children. The suite allowed us to put our kids to bed early after a long day at Disney without having to go to bed so early ourselves. It was very nice to have both breakfast & a light dinner at the hotel on the 3 of the 5 days of our stay. Our only complaint is that the shuttle to Disney only runs every 30 minutes, so we felt like we spent a lot of time waiting around for it. The shuttle cost $4 per adult per day. Parking at this hotel is free & plentiful & the drive to Downtown Disney is easy. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again.

place is kid-friendly, good selection of choices for breakfast, and convenient shuttle to disneyland. variety of restaurants in the same block. Very clean.

I will never stay in any other hotel branch unless there is no Homewood Suites around or available. Some friends suggested this hotel, and it was even more than I expected. The difference between a 5 star hotel and this one is, in a five star hotel you have to pay 10 dollars for a bagal, internet and parking. Where At this hotel its all free and deluxe. Staff very helpful, wonderful luxurious stay. I will remember it forever!

great breakfasts, food selection was changed daily, enjoyable- saves money for the budget conscious family to fill up before a day at Disney. Staff was friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. definitely would stay there again

I'm very picky, and the room was clean, the towels and sheets not only looked clean, but smelled clean. The extra living room/kitchen was great. We were able to shut the bedroom door and be up late or early and not disturb whoever wanted to sleep. The morning breakfast was good and convenient. All the staff was very friendly. The only negative was no working ice machine on our floor - but things break down and need to be fixed in every hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

Good hotel for families wishing to visit the park and save some money on meals for complimentary breakfast and Mon-Thurs dinner.

Shuttle to DL was super convenient. Hotel manages to handle a large volume of guests efficiently and keep the facility and rooms in good shape and clean. Breakfast was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom lacked ventilation and had some water leakage problem, but otherwise room and linens were clean. There was little noise and we loved having the kitchenette. The rooms were large with plenty of closet and storage space. The location was close to dining, a great pizza restaurant next door and a Target, for those last minute items. Will stay here again.

The room far exceeding what we were expecting for our weekend stay. The proximity to Disneyland and free shuttle were a snap to use and made not having to fight traffic even better. The full kitchen in the rooms was perfect for people with young children like us for storing much needed neccessities like milk and juice! The soundproofing in the room was a surprise as well considering the size of each room. When we went to bed at night we heard no noise whatsoever in the hallway, which almost never happens in a hotel room! But the biggest surprise was the free breakfast bar downstairs. There was lots of choices and the food quality was really good considering it was a free meal! To be able to fill our bellies for free before going to the park was an added bonus to our trip! Strongly recommend this hotel and will stay again. The only thing I can say bad about the place is that the elevators are eternally slow!

We have stayed at this hotel twice before and this makes a triple for us and it seems that this hotel has improved in every way, from the lobby to each room and the hotel staff.

A little far to walk to Disney, if thats your destination. But great mini suites. Clean rooms, looks new and friendly staff.

The rooms are awesome, with kitchenette and L-shaped sofa sitting area separated from the bedroom and bath area. Tons of Room. Fully appointed kitchenette, free breakfast w/hot buffet, free dinners (M-Th), pool. Walking distance to several restaurants. Daily shuttle to Disney and airport shuttle.

This was such a good hotel with a great staff. They were very friendly and accommodating to our large family. The Hotel was clean, had great free meals, and had lots of amenities. We really liked the hotel staff. My only small complaint is not having a bellman to help with our large amount of luggage. But honestly this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Southern California.

The room was very spacious. If we would have had a need to stay longer it would have been a very comfortable room. It had a frig, dishwasher, 2 q. bed in bedroom, 2 burner stove, had a place for you to work on computer. Very nice

Nice large rooms. Very comfortable. Full kitchen is a plus. Breakfast is pretty good and included. Just had to wait a while for the waffle maker. Overall great place to stay and will stay again. Only 2 complaints: 1. The cleaning staff come to your rooms at ungodly early hour, like 9 am. Remember to put the do not disturb sign up. 2. Not really a complaint but the bathroom in this hotel just did not fit with the room. Very plain and typical. Everything else was great.

The Homewood Suites was absolutely great! They are located in a great area near Disneyland. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were AWESOME! I would definately return to this hotel!

My only complaint is that they did not have a safe in our room.

The hotel suite was large enough for my husband and me and our four teen aged daughters! The breakfast was awesome, with many choices. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The Disneyland shuttle costs a small fee for each person per day, no matter how many trips back and forth. We were very satisfied and will plan to stay there again!

Great staff and the room was clean except for the shower. Our first room had black mold on the ceiling in the shower. The staff person sent to clean it could not remove it. The second room's shower had a soft spot in the ceiling. This likely due to the lack of a bathroom exhaust fan. Other than this, the location and amenities were great. The shuttle to Disneyland was super convenient and you can't beat the free breakfast and lunch. As long as the shower issues are addressed in the upcoming renovation I'd definately recommend this property.

This hotel provided above the average breakfast in fact outstanding choices. All staff were courteous and friendly. The location was just excellent based on our destination of Disneyland. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The beds were really comfortable, not too hard as are most hotel beds. The pool was really nice. The meals were great. They were really helpful at the reception desk with information about places we wanted to go. We would recommend this hotel to friends and we would stay there again.

OK, here we go....first of all if you are looking for a lavish style hotel this is not it...this is a family oriented hotel. The staff was very friendly. There was a great free morning breakfast. There was also a free light dinner, but dont expect anything like steak, more like sloppy joes and personal pizzas. A nice plus was free beer and wine for adults at dinner....yes FREE. There is an exercise room and pool/jacuzzi as well. There was even a toddler pool for the little ones. The room itself was very cozy....the 2 queen beds were very comfortable and we had tons of pillows. The sofa sleeper was not as comfortable as my sons would have liked, maybe better suited for kids 4-10, definitely not adults. Free internet in the room, so bring your laptops. Having a fridge in the room as well as a stove was a plus. Overall we would definitely come back on our next Disney trip. Oh yeah, there was a tram that took you to Disneyland/Calif. Adv. right outside the door for next to nothing.

Outstanding Hotel for the money and a great breakfast served daily to start off your morning.

I had not stayed at this brand before and was very impressed. The room and amenities were great and the service was excellent. The location was convenient to several decent restaurants in walking distance. The parking was plentiful and there is a Starbucks just outside the front door. Compared to other hotels in the neighborhood, I think I got a great value. During the week it was very businesslike, but on the weekend it turned into family time with Disney guests.

We had both our kids age 2 and 15 months and this hotel was perfect The breakfast had great choices the dinners were simple great for kids Great money saver. The rooms were very spacious. Great kitchenette in the room The staff were very helpful and friendly perfect family hotel.

We requested a non smoking room and got one smelling of pipe smoke.If we were`nt so tired we would have complained.However everything else was fine.

We had a nice stay here and the children loved it. I would definitely stay here again.
