The Hilton Garden was great. I have stayed there before and enjoyed it every time. In fact a friend of mine left his hat 3 weeks ago and they still had it when I got there this time.

This was by far the best place we stayed on our trip. It was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable in a nice size space. Even the cleaning staff were nice. I would definitely recommend others stay here.

WE LIKE THE HOTEL. THE ONLY INCONVENIENCE WAS THAT THEY OVERSOLD THE ROOMS WITH TWO BEDS, SO I HAD TO ACCOMMODATE MY FAMILY IN TWO ROOMS, AND WHEN YOU HAVE LITTLE KIDS IS REALLY AN INCONVENIENCE.

We were just there for one night and it met all of our needs. The staff was very courtious and accommodating.

This was like the other Garden Inns where we have stayed many times. These are dependably excellent. We call them our home away from home.

Our hotel booked guests into our room after booking us, so random strangers walked in on our friend who had just gotten out of the shower and was in a bath towel. When we complained to the front desk, and Jay the night auditor showed no compassion, remorse or embarrasment whatsoever. He also lied and said no manager was on duty that night to file a complaint. Meanwhile upstairs, our two friends were extremely appalled at how the hotel worker was "searching for empty rooms" for the guests that were double booked into our rooms. We witnessed the worker use his card keys to open doors and peer in to see if the room was empty. Not once did he ever provide a courtesy knock before opening any doors. We could not believe that this was happening at the Hilton!! We pointed out the unethical action to the worker, but he ignored us. When we asked for his name, he purposely hid his name badge. My friend caught a glimpse and thinks that his name was "Juan." But again, we are not sure. As for Jay, he promised he'd report the incident to the manager tomorrow and to come back. Well the morning we found out that the incident was NOT reported and that Jay had lied to our faces because there was in fact a MANAGER on duty last night. The receptionist told me that there was no manager available that morning, but took my cell phone # and said she'd have the manager call me to follow up. It never happened. Finally at check out, I complained about their lack of service, professionalism, and ability to follow through. Only then was a manager available. She was extremely professional and compassionate and even in shock herself for what had transpired. Unfortunately however, neither one of us in our group of 12 will ever book or support the Hilton brand again!

It was a good hotel to stay at if you do not want to spend a lot of money. It is surrounded by businesses. Thus, the weekend is extremely quiet. I do agree with other guests about the doors not being sound proof. You could hear people walking by. Also, around 3-5 in the morning the garbage truck came. However, I did not find it as a problem.

We were so pleased with our room! I read one review that the person was not happy with the pillows & and mattress, but in our case I thought they were the most comfortable & outstanding I have ever had in a hotel room! The restaurant on site was very good & the prices were fare too. The staff in the whole place was very nice and so I definitely have to give high recommendation on this hotel!

Most business traveler style hotels offer free breakfast of some sort, this one was $10. The internet was free, and the room was nice and comfortable, but for the price I paid, that should be expected. The place was nice, but nothing special.

General hotel: Check in was super fast and they had my key cards ready for me set aside already. There are plenty of free parking. The neighborhood was very quiet and there was a Wendy's nearby. Traffic was near non-existent on the street which consists of other hotel and companies. Room: The AC worked extremely well, but was on the noisier side. My only real complaint are the bed mattress and pillows. The pillows were a bit hard for my personal taste. As for the mattress, the hotel uses some kind of fur layer underneath the sheet that retains heat too much and so I kept on getting hot through out the night.

Very nice, friendly & professional people. Nice and clean room. Have access to internet so I didn't have a problem doing my PowerPoint. Quick check in & out coz hotel.com pretty much did it for me. Check in 10 min, check out 1 min. Isn't that great. No hassle. The only complaints I have was when the fire alarm went off early in the morning around 9am. It woke me up. I worked the night before. I had not gotten any sleep for 24 hours when I flew from san Diego to frisco otherwise breakfast was awesome and the price. Ok till next time

Had to open window because of smell, ambient noise outside made it hard to sleep and the pillows were not what I expect from a Hilton so it was not a good night;s sleep. Shuttle did not run after 11 pm and our flight was late, landed at 11:10 and had to spend $15 to arrive by cab

Liked the staff and the room. The place is convenient to SF without being in the midst of the city, and the free parking and internet are a big plus. The only minuses are that there's nothing in the neighborhood, so you need a car even to go to the nearest convenience store, and the room door does not block out noise from other rooms as well as it could. But for the price, it's a good deal, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

This hotel is NOT in SF proper, so there is not a lot of traffic or noise. The airport is very close by. Overall it's a great place to stay with an excellent restaurant and bar.

Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a restraunt on site that had decent food for dinner. The breakfast buffet cost $11 which they were not really clear about before my group started serving themselves but such is life.

The only complaint I have of this hotel is that the only breakfast option is the buffet for ~$11.

Sherry the desk clerk was outstanding in helping us fill confortable.

Excellent, comfortable room; very good location; timely shuttle to SFO; very easy access via BART to San Francisco and Berkeley; great value.

The pool and jacuzzi were just wonderful. We spent most of our vacation there. It was a little far outside the city, and the staff at the restaurant were rude, but no matter. We will definately stay again!

The hotel does everything it should for the business traveller. The facilities are really very good, especially the business centre. The service is OK but could be better, the food is not great, but when you're tired it's fine.

Overall this is a very good commuter / 2 night stay hotel. Staff was friendly,property very clean, etc... one question though....Why no room service in the morning? Nights are nice, however I usually need a.m. room services. this would have added at least $50 to the bill. seems to me that it would be much appreciated to have it availible like other similar properties in the area.

super clean, exceeded expectation, very nice restaurant and quiet! Slept like a baby and took only 10 minutes to get to SF. will stay here again.

everything was great with the hotel but, bought breakfast the next morning and the attendant was poor.

The staff was wonderful, suggesting we return our rental car the night before an early morning flight and use the hotel shuttle from the airport, then back in the morning. It allowed us an extra hour of sleep. The only negative was that used dishes from room service sat at the end of the hall outside our room for our entire stay. There were there when we arrived at three in the afternoon and still there when we left the next morning. Kind of stunk up the hall a bit. Seems like someone should've picked them up in a timely manor. Otherwise, nice room, friendly staff, which also provided a good suggestion for dinner offsite. I'd stay there again.

I was attending a wedding reception at the Grand Palace Restaurant on Grand Avenue, only 1 mile from the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel shuttle could drop me off there and pick me up, saving me from walking in the rain, paying for a cab, or renting a car. The hotel was in great condition, and the office chair in my room was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is great if you're hungry, but isn't worth the price if you only grab a bagel or piece of fruit. My one complaint is that their "business center" only had one working computer, and it was very old. So if you eat big breakfasts and travel with a laptop (or don't mind going online from your phone or PDA), then the Garden Inn is a good choice if you have business in South San Fran. A word of caution: there are apparently three hotels in the greater SF area that are named "Garden Inn," so when you arrive at the shuttle pick-up area outside the second level of SFO, be sure to dial '34' on the curtosy phone to call this hotel and arrange a shuttle.

This hotel was a beautiful property. We took advantage of the indoor pool/hot tub as well as the exercise room. We went to the beach one day and it was so nice to come back to the hotel and be able to use their complimentary laundry room to was all the sand out of our clothing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. It is out and away from the hustle and bustle but still close to everything you could possibly want to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful too!

When checking out I asked for a copy of the bill for my company expense records. Because I book using Hotel.com the Hilton Garden Inn SFO could not provide a total receipt. They told me I can to get a receipt from Hotel.com with add more complexity.

the hotel was really nice.I had my own car so getting around SAN Fran was easy-but I don`t think it would be hard to use public transp.The room was clean and comfortable-I was very satisfied. Highly recommended!!!It`s worth the price!!

All the service was excellent, except with the girl that was there when I check in she was so rude. Her tone of voice and the way she answer my questions did not like me. She anticipated that I wanted and answered in a rude way. But in general all the service was excelent.

I found very little wrong with this hotel. We got a room on the first floor, which was perfect. They let us check in a few minutes early. The ice machine worked all the time (not like other places). The LAUNDRY IS FREE- which was amazing because I had like 4 loads to do since we were on the road for 2 months. I liked the room so much we stayed an extra night. I was very comfortable. It's in a safe area, plenty of parking, etc. The fridge and microwave came in very handy. The room was a nice size- plenty of space. Wireless worked 100% of the time (which is rare). The only thing I would change was the breakfast was not free.

The hotel staff were very helpful, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. This hotel is quite a ways from the city though, if that's your daily destination. A shuttle is provided to the BART system, which happens to be back at the airport. This makes for a long day of making connections, and making sure you're back to the airport by a certain time at the end of the day in order to get a shuttle returning to the hotel. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, but next time we'll be staying in a downtown hotel closer to attractions.

great room! wonderfully comfortable bed!

We have never had such good service at a hotel..Van picked us up at airport. Took us to airport for travel to bart line to take us to downtown SF for cable car to Fisherman Wharf. Then as we returned to hotel they picked us up at airport to take us back to hotel. Then early Sunday morning took us back to airport to return to St Louis. Room was huge and comfortable. A neat touch as you past the desk fresh cookies. Special. THANKS for getting us this hotel.

The attitude of the staff was appalling. The room was not stocked with the correct amount of supplies, even after numerious requests.

It's a great Hotel! I really enjoyed my stay even though that one older Front Desk person needs more Personality and less gruffness. A smile really wouldn't kill you or would it? Oh! And what's up with the cleaning lady at 6am? and 7am? Other than that the Night staff is really down to earth and makes up for the rest.
