Hotel Sax Chicago - Čikaga

Right next to the House of Blues. Parking was pricey at $49. a night. I will definitely stay again.

I've stayed at the Sax many times, dating back to when it was the House of Blues Hotel. Most of the staff is the same, and they have gotten to know me by name. I've always found them to be very friendly and willing to go out of their way to make sure my stay is as comfortable as possible. The rooms are fairly big, and the beds some of the most comfortable I've slept on anywhere... The best part about it though is the location - convenient to everything inside The Loop! You can't go wrong with this hotel, trust me...

I had never been to Chicago before, but if I were to go again, I'd definitely stay at Hotel Sax. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the concierge provided tons of useful advice and money-saving coupons, AND the hotel was walking distance from just about everything. The room itself was gorgeous and comfortable. The hallways WERE a little dark, but it adds to the charm, and the Microsoft Experience room on the 6th floor was tons of fun! The lounges and restaurants in and around the hotel could be a little pricey, but you expect that in a hotel lounge. Great food, and great drinks. Even if you don't like bowling, but you enjoy a good martini, you should check out 10Pin next door. And of course, the House of Blues was right across the street! Hotel Sax was absolutely perfect. Definitely worth what I paid!

The decor was beautiful in the superior king room... Front desk was very helpful. We will always stay here when we're in chi-town!

This hotel was close to everything. Two blocks from the train station and bus stop. A couple of blocks from Michigan Ave shopping. Less than 1.5 miles to the Aquarium and Museum area. The rooms were clean and everyone was very nice. We'd stay here again definitely.

The hotel was very clean. The service was excellent! Parking was included with our reservation, and they even held our cars and baggage the morning we were leaving until 5 pm so we could continue to walk around the city (free of charge!) Everyone we encountered from the hotel was amazing!

The hotel is very convenient to public transportation and close to the Magnificent Mile. Despite the fact it was right by The House of Blues, and had several party bars on site, my room was nice and quiet. They had good coffee in the lobby in the morning. None of that bad watered down crap that so many hotels offer. The only drawback was the tiny afterthought of a gym. But, if you're not staying long it will get you through a workout or two.

I thought the service was excellent and the hotel room was chic! The weighted mini bar was a little stressful, if you pick something up for more then 30 seconds you pay for it! The Beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

This Hotel is centrally located. you have access to the cta buses and the red line subway within a block. It is right on the river and you are within a ten minute walk of all the major tourists attractions. The only draw back would be the hotel decor and that the rooms are small but comfortable.

Very nice hotel with a great location. We got a great deal with free parking through prepaying for our stay through Hotels.com. Very worth it. Rooms are decorated nicely and are comfortable. Only complaint was the wireless internet was very slow and patchy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sax. The hotel and room was nice, and the staff very helpful and professional. The package included parking which was made it a relatively good price. The location is conveniently located in the downtown area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sax. It was in a GREAT location, and close to everything! The room was great, the hotel was clean, and the staff was amazing! Would definitely stay there again!!

Room was small and slightly shoddy. We were given a smaller room because the type we paid for wasn't available when we showed up. We were only staying one night so I didn't make a fuss about it. Used toiletries in the room as well.The room price included valet parking, which was a plus.

Hotel Sax was a very nice hotel. Any and all of the employees that we encountered were very nice and outgoing.

I got a great rate from hotels.com, and the hotel was excellent. excellent service, excellent room, very fast elevators, valets were outstanding, would definitely stay there again if I got a great rate

Hotel Sax is close to shopping on Michigan Ave. Several nice restaurants in the immediate area. L trains are close too!

This hotel is centrally located to the Red Line Subway as well as the Loop trains. The rooms tend to be a little small however the bathroom is nicely stocked and is a reasonable size. The bed and linens are very nice and comfortable. An additional bonus is the complimentary wireless and wired Internet. I would recommend this hotel on that amenity as well as its central location.

We were very excited when we arrived at the Hotel Sax. Our room was fabulous and the people were so incredibly nice. It is withing walking distance of Michigan Avenue which was great. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I checked out early Sunday morning only to find two ladies trying to explain to the desk clerk that the guy with whom they spent the night was suppose to pay for their parking charges but they didn't know his name - only his room number.

We got a prepaid room rate available only throgh Hotels.com that saved us 1/3 off the rate our conference got for a group rate. Very quiet room. Right by the levevator, but never heard a sound. Only negative was that the hallway on our floor was extemely cold. But, it was summer, so who cares?

We had a wonderful time in Chicago and Hotel Sax is in a great location. You can walk to everything. I will stay again and I will use hotel.com again!!! Completely satisfied!!

Close to everything, in the heart of River North. Absolutely loved it - especially for the great price we paid (and we got a deal with free parking as well, which saved us another $90) Bed was super comfy, we were sooo pleased.

The hotel is in a good location. We were able to walk to almost everything we did. The few things we couldn't walk too. The subway stations were real close to the hotel.

I was very impressed with this hotel, especially the very kind personnel. The lounge (bar) was extremely impressive. Our room was quite small, but we were there to visit Chicago and not spend a lot of time in the room.

The location of the hotel is awesome, right at the center of all the activities in Downtown Chicago. The rooms are too small with inadequate lighting,not enough tables for business travelers. The room I stayed in, didn't have a mini bar! which means I had to call room service everytime I wanted even water. The food options in the hotel are limited too and food wasn't good either. Overall a bad experience, the only positive being the location of hotel.

This hotel is an awesome deal for this location. It is in walking distance to many nearby attractions and restaurants. We had a great time and would definately consider coming back!

I actually stayed at the Amalfi due to hotel Sax being overbooked all above comments relate to the Amalfi. I was compted the room by moving to the amalfi but did get a warm welcome from the staff at the Sax. I got a great price to begin with compared to my friends staying elsewhere.
