Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel - On Disneyland Resort Property - Anahaimas

Fast walk to Down Town Disney. Great room service. It was nice to be able to go through out the resort and use you room key to charge to your room.

We got stuck in the elevator and missed things we had planned in the park and the hotel didn't even appoligize for the inconvenience it caused. Had to call 3 times to get more towells which took over an hr. to get. Overall, a bad expierince that I didn't expect to get from a Disney property.

The hotel is what you would find in other form cheaper. The only difference between this hotel and others for cheaper is the distance between it and Disneyland.

The Paradise Pier Hotel is very conveniently located, a short 5 minute walk to downtown Disney and 10 minutes to the main gate. Better yet, take the Monorail in downtown Disney (no lines) straight into the park to avoid the lines at the main gate. The convenience is worth the higher price you'll pay vs. other non Disney property hotels.

This was a great hotel. Room will easlity sleep 4 adults and 2 to 3 kids AND a baby! What a deal!

Perfect for families. Nice pool with fun water slide on the side (great for non-swimmers). Convenient to monorail. Clean and comfortable. Lilo and Stitch breakfast is fun, a little pricey, but recommend for one morning.

This was a wonderful experience for our girls! They were treated very special! The focus is on children! Great pool and actiities! Great location. Great price for what you get! We will stay again!

This hotel is actually closer to Disneyland than the Disneyland Hotel itself. The rooms are large, restaurants are great. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to the park.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Disneyland. The location is great and it's the cheapest of the three Disney Hotels.

When I read "On Disneyland Resort Property" I thought that meant that I could step out of the hotel and be in California adventure, or board the monorail to the park. We had to walk a block and cross the street to the park. A short walk, but not what I thought we purchased. It is a very nice hotel, but we could have booked a room for allot less with the same walking distance to the park. If you want to be able to "step out of the hotel and be in California adventure", you need to book a room with the Grand Californian hotel.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had one issue with a staff member of the PCH Grill located in the hotel lobby who blatantly ignored us while waiting for assistance, so we chose to eat elsewhere. It was as if we were invisible. Other than that the stay was terrific. Both parks were ridiculously over-crowded so we chose to spend a large portion of our trip at the hotel pool/jacuzzi/water slide. My son had a blast sliding down the water slide! Would definitely consider this hotel for future trips to Disneyland.

Large room with very comfortable beds. Great location-within walking distance to both Parks. Be advised that the Monorail does not go directly to any of the Disney Hotels anymore. It has a stop at Downtown Disney which is in easy walking distance to all three Disney Hotels. Also, on certain days of the week Disney Hotel guests are allowed into Disneyland 1 hour before regular opening hours. A big plus for experiencing the real popular rides before the lines get too long.

The parking structure is a pain to navigate. No elevators, and you have to walk down to ground floor to go back up. Not enough balconies, took way to long to receive our bags....not really worth what we paid. It was however easy access to Grand Californian and then to Calif. Adv..

While staying at a Disneyland hotel is one of the more expensive options in the Anaheim area, it does have it's perks, especially if you have children. I was impressed with the little glass walled movie theater roon - so the kids could watch cartoons and parents could stay outside and still see them. I also liked the bonus of being a hotel resident that allowed us to go into the park an hour earlier - we got a lot more rides in with shorter waiting times that way. The standard of the hotel was fine - nothing spectacular, but perfect for children. And the rooms have an empty fridge, which is very handy.

We left something in the hotel room after we had checked out and when we returned home and called the hotel about the item that was left, the staff was very helpful. The lost and found at the hotel mailed the item to our house that day and it was received the next day, no charge to us. We also had an issue when we checked in because we had made our reservation through hotels.com the hotel did not have our reservation. The staff was very accomodating and looked up the hotel.com information and had our room for us within minutes. We checked in 3 hours before the scheduled check in time and our room was ready. I was very satisfied with this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were outstanding, extremely freindly and helpful. We go to Disneyland twice a year and this was our first time at Paradise Pier. It is not as close as the Disneyland Hotel or The Grand Californian, but we took a shortcut through the Grand Californian and were at Disney parks fairly quick. Disney and AAA were offering better room rates than we paid, other than that we had a great time!

As wonderful as is Disneyland and its surrounding resort, perhaps Paradise Pier is at the bottom of the totem pole. Front desk person, Mona, started us off with a bad first impression when she seemed bothered when we checked in. Oh well, thank goodness everyone else we encountered during our 3-night stay at the resort more than made up for her unfriendliness. Of course, being right on the resort premises is truly the best way to go, but you get the feeling that the price charged for Paradise Pier is much too high, especially when the room itself was not very clean (sticky desk, greasy hair dryer, no shampoo and other toiletries the first night). We liked the convenience of two queens and a day bed for our family of four (with two teens). The room was very quiet and solid (no noise above, below or next door). Many good things, a few bad things, clearly overpriced, but a wonderful time had by our family at Disneyland and the splurge at this hotel was worth it for the convenience of being close by the parks and downtown Disney.

There is a $14/day "Resort Fee" charge that no one tells you about at the end of your stay. Other than that it is a good place to stay, but would not pay regular rate. Wait for off-season or a sale. Pool gets crowded and they need another hot tub. Not enough elevators for this size hotel.

While visiting California we stayed 4 nights at the Paradise Pier Hotel and loved it. The hotel was very clean and they took very good care of their guests. We also found the hotel to be very convenient to both Disneyland Parks and downtown Disney. We felt like we were at home and we were sad to leave. Wonderful place to vacation.

I felt that the hotel was a perfect fit for us. We would definitly reccommend the Paradise Pier hotel to others. The room was big with a great view and was within walking distance of disneyland. My fiance and i were able to watch the fireworks from our room. It was a wonderful experience.

We found the Paradise Pier hotel to be convenient, clean, and reasonable bang for the buck. It is within 5 minutes walking distance of Downtown Disney (and the Monorail) and about 10 minutes from both park entrances.

This hotel was very nice and comfortable. When in out room it was peacful and quiet and the location can't be beat. My 10 year old daughter used the swimming pool and fun water slide. My family especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, which had Lilo & Stitch and a couple other Disney characters who go up to each table for pictures and autographs but make sure to do like we did and make your timed reservations well in advance so you don't have to wait like we saw some people doing. The staff in every area of the hotel are very friendly and knowledgable.

Very convenient to the parks which makes the stay that much more enjoyable. Lots of restaurant choices between the Disney Hotels and Downtown Disney, which are all within walking distance. We went in early June and still received "winter" rates which made this hotel priced comparably to other surrounding hotels.

Was lead to beleive that the hotel was located inteh park and that I could walk from the hotel lobby into the entrance of the park....This was not the case nor was any transportation or shuttle offered to my family. Needless to say after a 2 1/2 mile walk we made it to the park....Also the sinage located in Downtown Disney was not helpful and inadequate. We will not stay at this hotel again....Overpriced for its location and ameneties.

They need more elevators. I stood in line with a cranky 3 yeard old at the end of the day and he wanted to go to sleep and the elevators were small. Only 6 people could elevator. If you have kids this is a good place to stay. Swim vests are provided. Close to park a big advantage. It is great for kids and that is the only reason why we go to see the Mickey Mouse.

Someone told me that this hotel did some special things for newlyweds, but I didnt know what to expect. when we walked into the room I was blown away... it was so romantic!! I will never forget it! Plus you can walk to the happiest place on earth in just minutes! What more could anyone ask for?!

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and always made you feel welcome. The accomodations were beyond my expectation!!!!

We expected a better than decent room for the price. The room was average at best and the bathroom was not clean (which I am finding in a lot of hotels these days). Found hair in the shower and urne on the base of the toilet. Also, there was a strange 'sulfer' (or dare I say it was something else) odor coming from the bathroom. I could have sworn I smelled it in the hallway late in the evening as well. The adjoining room guests smelled it as well so it must be in the pipes. We enjoyed the cafe experience though. Lilo and Stitch spent a lot of time with us and they took a nice picture of our group when we came into the restaurant.

This hotel was conpletely average and nothing spectacular, which was fine with us. We have stayed in Grand hotels and we have stayed in hotels that should not be hotels. I do believe they are overpriced, but we did want the "Disney experience" so this being our first visit to Disneyland as a family we decided to pony up. I did not think it was that far of a walk to Disneyland thru the Grand Californian, not with all the walking you do inside the park anyways. You get shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel in little bottles with mickey mouse shead shaped caps, which was cute. There was also a mickey mouse lamp in the room, a surfboard shaped table by the couch and an extra table nestled under the desk, which was good when we got room service. Nothing was outstanding, and nothing was over the top, everything was just average. We did enjoy our four night stay, the pool was good and there was a slide for the kids. The hot tub was just ok, I think it could have been hotter. We did not have a view room which was fine. When they set off the fireworks you can see them from the pool area, or the fire escape which was a nice bonus being on the 11th floor. We had no problems and enjoyed our stay.

We took our 12 yr old granddaughter and her friend thinking this would be the hotel to use. Not so! Since we had paid the extra money to be on the park we expected it would be convenient. Not so! The only thing that was convenient was "Downtown Disney" where you could spend more money. At least on the perimeter Motels/Hotels you could jump a shuttle, Not so at Paradise Pier! For the money it felt like a waste. Did alot of walking which normally is healthy but the time wasted getting from Park to Park,walking to monorail or walking to the Grand Californian to go through the lobby to get to the California Adventure park was just to much wasted time. The best value is outside the resort at the good neighbor hotels. We will not be back! As far as I'm concerned the reason for going to Disneyland is just that. Not the high priced restaurants and stores with oodles of Disney Stuff. Walt Disney would not be happy with the way things turned out there! By the way! No continental breakfast at the Pier. For the price it should be included.

The Hotel staff was very friendly. They had lots of eminities. My daughter was in a cast and they were very accomidating and helpful. Very close to all the parks.
