Days Inn Anaheim West at Disneyland Drive - Anahaimas

We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again. Within walking distance to D-land. Arco am/pm across the street for forgotton items. Towels were a bit small, but other than that, everything was great. The continental breakfast was on the lower end of continental breakfasts, but cereal, donuts and OJ made my kids happy.

Check in was easy and service very friendly. Room was clean and roomy - had fridge and microwave. No charge for parking and within walking distance to D'land park. Donuts, cereal and coffee served for breakfast. Don't plan to sleep in late in the morning as the traffic noise was loud..hotel is on a very busy intersection.

We just needed a place to sleep on our one night stay at Disneyland. This hotel is right off the drive to the Mickey & Friends parking structure. So if you plan to park at the park this is perfect. The walk is about 15 min and it's to the tram, not the front gate. If you want to walk to gate, I would consider a different hotel. Room was clean, so was bathroom. Carpet seems to be new, but I still used slippers as per other reviews. Walls are super thin and the ref had a knocking noise, so if you're a light sleeper this may be an issue. Only certain rooms give you a view of the fireworks, so if your are looking for that make sure you ask. Continental breakfast was kind of cheesy. Being the busy season, I would think they would put slightly better pastries out for there guest. All in all, for the money we spent, it was really a great bargain. Free parking, clean room, and easy access to the park.

This hotel is right next to the Disneyland parking structure, so if you are driving to Disneyland and just want a place to stay the night before or after, this is the perfect location. We stayed the night before our trip to Disneyland, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the view of the fireworks show from our room was better than from most places in the park! Clean room, okay service for the price. Nothing fancy. Pool and spa were over-chlorinated and yet still kind of dirty, but overall, it was a good experience for the money.

We were able to walk to Disneyland avoiding parking fees. It's about a 15 minute walk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was donuts, Danishes, muffins, juice, & coffee. I would have liked to see some healthier options such as wheat toast and cheerios.

We were at this hotel for 4 nights, have not seen anybody come to clean the pool.

The location of this hotel is a little akward, but it is not a bad hotel. It is close to the Disney parks.

We picked the Hotel because it was cheap and close to to Disneyland. It is an old motel located next to I-5. the room has a small refrigerator and microwave. decent size room with two comfortable queen size beds. The rooms are old. Although the carpet is vacumed everyday, it is old and dirty. Wear slippers to keep your socks or feet clean. The pool is very small. There is parking but very difficult to get in or out if you drive van, truck, or SUV. You can walk to Disney along Disneyland drive to the California Adventure Parking facility (10 min walk) and take the Disneyland tram to to Downtown Disney. or walk accross the street to the Sheraton Anaheim and catch their shuttle. a gratuity to the driver will get you on board. Anaheim resort transportation available $4 for adults and $3 for children. AM/PM market across the street from the HTL. Starbucks on the corner of Ball/Harbor Blvd. The motel is ok if you want to save money but if you want more pomp and circumstance stay at another motel/hotel

Although our hotel was definitely in walking distance to the theme parks, it was not close to any places to eat. The complimentary breakfast was pretty lousy, but with no where else to go, we had to pay the Disney prices for meals.

Pros - great room for the money. Really closeto disneyland. 15 min walk to main gates. You do get what u pay for. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, but i would stay there again. Cons - room was non smoking but smelled like smoke and was a little humid when we first walked in. ice machine ran out of ice after 1 bucket.. twice.

Cheapest rate and the closest non-Disney hotel to the park. Clean room and comfortable beds (we almost missed checkout because we overslept). Will defnately stay there again next time!

It was either a long walk to Disneyland enterance (your are on the back side of the parking structure"Mickey and Friends") or when you drove to park at night you were guided to "Simba" parking which was around the same distance anyway. We did not try the tourist bus to see if that would help. It was in a questionable neighborhood.

The hotel right on the drive upto Disney, we walked to Downtown disney and the park it's self each day/evening. The hotel was great value for money and would willing stay here again.

The hotel was not fancy, but very convienient location, close to Disneyland.

Room was super clean, verrry close to disney land, the sign is hard to see coming from one end of the road, i passed it the first time, and when I flipped a U i could see the days inn sign from the other side of the street. Right next to BUDGET INN! I LOVE how this place had a pool and hot tub, but i did NOT like the overpowering chlorine smell in the hot tub (cant speak for the pool, but the kids that were playing in it looked like they were having a lot of fun). Would definitely go here again. Guy at the front was very nice. FREE WI-FI! Free Parking!

Cons: Front desk clerks aren't happy or helpful; light fixture came off during shower and hit my mom in the head; very balmy and humid in room; walls are paper thin. Pros: 15 minute walk to Disneyland; comfy beds, free wifi; can really see fireworks from hotel window! (sonic booms every minute or so was cool for my 7 year old and I but not so much for my 1 year old. My husband had to shut the noise out by going in the bathroom until it was over-too loud and scary for her); close enough to freeway and big streets for easy access but far enough that no street noise once in your room; lots of brochures and weekend trip ideas; and 2 different types of cereal at "continental breakfast". Overall, for what we paid, the hotel met our expectations. Shower sucked but we got to walk to disneyland in just 15 minutes. Decent enough to stay 2 nights on a budget.

close but not close enough to walk

The room was much larger than I expected. it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The carpet was not very clean, it turned my feet black after walking on it ( a problem easily solved with flip flops). It was about a 15-20 minute walk to Disneyland. The fireworks at Disneyland are very loud because they are shot off near by. If your are going to spend all day at Disneyland it is a great place to spend the night and not have to waste time and money on Disneyland parking. The pool and the "hot" tub are about the same temperature.

Rooms are small but fridge. microwave, and hairdryer worked good. Great view of fireworks, but nobody sleeps between 9:30 and 10:00 at night, fireworks are loud!

Great location; clean; friendly; wonderful place to watch and 'feel' the nightly DL fireworks from the backside. Wonderful show in the sky from the front door balcony. Warning: fireworks are very loud - but it's fun. Walking distance to park and downtown Disney. Ideal especially for the price. The desk person is usually alone but is always so helpful and polite. This was our third stay here.

Enjoy staying at this Days Inn. Very clean and fresh. No complaints. I look forward to booking more nights at this hotel in the future.

Terrible room, terrible service, dirty......need I say more!!!

The hotel was very nice and affordable. It was extremely close to Disneyland and easily within walking distance. There was not enough room to park in the parking lot when we returned, but the hotel attendant took our keys and parked our car for us at no extra cost

The rooms were a pleasant surprise. The downfall was that it was a much longer walk to Disney than I expected. Again, other than that, it was fine and worth the money we paid.

i actually enjoyed my stay at the hote so did my children it was so close we walked to disneyland

The hotel was amazing for the price, we were shocked. Really it was only a ten min walk form the park if you get on the disney tram. The hotel staff was wonderful they let us check in early and were super friendly, they went far above my expectations. The parking lot was the only draw back it was a little tight but perfect for a Car. It was great for our family I will book this hotel for are next Disney trip!

There was not enough parking spaces to accomodate the guests. The manager suggested that I park blocking three other guests from getting out and to just leave my keys with him so that he could move my car as necessary. Are you kidding?! The shower didn't drain, there was very little hot water, the bathroom smelled like an ashtray (non smoking room), the towels were like sandpaper and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Only 4 channels actually came in on the TV, it was kinda ridiculous. However, it was cheap, I would have been much happier to know that I could stay out and enjoy myself on our little getaway and that there would have been a parking space for me when i got back. instead, we had to return early each night to make sure the car would be safe. Not worth the lower price.

We were able to walk to Disneyland in about five minutes. You can walk to the free Disney shuttle or we thought it was faster just to walk the whole way. Be prepared around 9:25pm if you are in the hotel because the fireworks are right next to you and it sounds like you're in a war zone!

Room was clean & hotel staff were very nice & helpful. We had a couple of proplems but they were solved fast. first our keys didn't work -- they came right up & gave us new keys; next the knob for the showers hot water was broke - within 5 Minutes of our call they had someone to our room & fixed the knob. It was a little bit of a walk to Disneyland, but ok. would probably stay again

After reading the reviews for this hotel I thought it would be a safe choice, apparently you pretty much get what you pay for. It really does pay to pay a little extra for quality and service. When we arrived to the hotel after our two & a half hour drive, at check in the guy at the front desk was was rude and short with us. The room smelled stale, the cleanliness was questionable. The coffee maker looked dirty, behind the coffee maker looked even dirtier. There was no extra toilet paper, recommend to bring your own towels. Would've been worth the walking distance of 10-15 minutes to the park if the stay was a quality one.

This hotel was just what we needed for a quick overnight next to Disneyland. I knew the low rate would mean a hotel without any real bells or whistles, but the staff was very nice and my 8-year-old son was endlessly impressed with how the washcloths in the room had been folded to look like a fan. The room was well equipped with a big TV, a microwave and a small refrigerator. While some of the tiles in the shower were chipped and the toilet seemed to run for a very long time, overall the room was just fine. The bed sheets and towels were a bit ruff from stiff laundering, but at least we knew they were clean. For one or two nights, this hotel is just fine, and you can't beat the location!

This place was just fine for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids (2 adjoining rooms). Distance from Disneyland was ok walk, and continental breakfast was adequate. AM-PM across the street was fun and helpful. Fine enough place to stay near Disneyland.

the 'breakfast' was bad, it is only donuts and coffee and juice, there is no internet access, the beds are hard and seriously the towels are very scratchy, parking was very tight and ok for only small cars

our stay was great! they had availabilty so we were allowed to check in early and get settled after our hour and a half drive before walking to disneyland when they opened. an easy short walk to and from disneyland both days was very convenient, and we didn't have to pay disneyland parking. a convenience store across the street provided snacks and coffee when needed, plus the breakfast of juice, coffee, cereal, danish and doughnuts. we had two rooms adjoining so the kids had great fun. we would definitely use this hotel again.
