Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista at Vista Centre - Orlandas

1) My wife tried to meet us at the hotel the following day after my arrival. The hotel staff would not provide a key to the room (I informed them of her arrival the night before), even after showing a valid drivers license. She tried calling my room to leave me a message and tried to leave a hand-written message. Both were not delivered to my room. As a means of compensation for the poor service, the clerk offered many things to try to make it up. In the end - she gave my daughter a "Reeses Peanut Butter Cup." Now, that really made up for the fact that my wife got up in the middle of the night to return home, beacause she felt unwelcome. 2) I had a hard time sleeping on the extremely hard mattresses. Each morning I woke up with neck pain and a headache.

This hotel was great for our family holiday. Great price, fab pool, superb staff, can't fault it!

Centrally located and well within walking distance to a selection of restaurants and convinence store. We took the breakfast plan during our stay and it was worth it as they had a huge selection with the option of "eggs cooked to your preference." The rooms were a little small and the hotel has only Double Bed as their biggest, so it does get a bit uncomfortable if you are a couple sleeping in one bed. Besides the size of the bed and the room, everything else was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a gift shop that is almost like a small general store. Like I said earlier, for the price, it was worth it, except for the room and bed size.

the hotel was great we had a suite which was lovely the rooms were cleaned every day .I recommend taking there breakfast as there was everything there you want.buses come a few times a day to take you to all the parks we really enjoyed this hotel there is lots of lovely restaurtants within five min walk.

Hotel is very nice. If you get the "stay for breakfast" deal, it is well worth it. Breakfast is varied, and filling. Definitely isn't within walk distance to a park, at least I would never take the walk, especially in the heat. Shuttles to the outlets are nice, but you have to make reservations 2 hours in advance, which was a little frusterating. Hotel is VERY close to Pizza Hut, Olive Garden, and tons of other restraunts, which was very much appreciated. AC in rooms was very nice, and the flat screen TV's were a nice upgrade. I will definitely return.

What attracted me to this hotel initially was the rate. Knowing the Marriott Courtyard brand, I pretty much knew what to expect. Except for some old plumbing/bathroom fixtures, the hotel was great. Enjoyed the pools and gym while not at Disney and the shuttle bus to and from the parks from the hotel was much appreciated. The only real gripe I have is that I purposely called the hotel before I booked and was told they had complementary service to the airport. Since I had a ride to but not from the hotel, I needed that service only to find out when it was time to leave that I had to pay $40. for service to the airport for my son and I. I told the hotel what I had been told by telephone and they apologized for the misinformation (asked if I had the name of the clerk I spoke to, which , of course I didn't) but that they could not help. The desk clerk did call around to other hotels to see if anyone had complementary service that I could share but told me she had no luck.

It was close to Disney World but just right outside the gates. We liked being off Disney property so that we could see more of Orland but close enough that we wouldn't have to be stuck in traffic to get there. Was nice coming home after a long day to a clean room and comfy bed.

Hotel is charming. People staying there were warm and social. Excellent location for Outlet shopping, Disney, Sea World, etc.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.Clean rooms,good location.There are many restaurants within walking distance.I had a leak in my faucet that was repaired within 1 hour.Shuttle van takes you to Disney parks.

Convienent back way to Sea World ...2 minutes, no traffic. All staff very helpful. Room comfortabel, but missing mini fridge/microwave woudl have helped .

Very close to all of the attractions. Great outdoor pools. Quick room service. Only complaint is that the mattresses were old and lumpy and sunk in the middle.

This hotel had a very nice staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly (that was the best part). The air conditioner units were not the greatest, somewhat on the loud side. The room was very quiet, we didn't hear a peep at night. The price was right and it was very close to Disney.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I have no complaints.

Hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and rooms are large and very clean. It is just off Disney property which makes it very convenient to all attractions within just a few minutes. I strongly recommend this hotel which is an outstanding value offering high quality accomodations.

Great experience during our stay at this hotel! The staff was excellent.

Nice hotel located near the theme parks. Room was comfortable but a bit small with 4 people in the room (bathroom was small, with tub/shower combo). Hotel had a courtesy bus to the parks that saved us $36 in parking fees during our three day stay, so that was a nice bonus. Only negatives were no complimentary continental breakfast, and no room refrigerator/microwave.

The beds were very comfortable and the price was right. Clean and comfortable. Will book again!

I stayed here recently for a one-night stay through the Orlando area. I wasn't looking for something with a lot of amenities, just a room at a good price. If this is what you're looking for, it's a great deal! It was clean, adequately comfortable, and the hotel staff was very helpful. Not luxurious, but good for the money.

We stayed for 10 days and all I can say are good things. The people who work there, from front desk to maintenance all great, helpful and willing to make our stay better. The machines at the gymnasium were very good. The location was very convenient, I even walked on my own at midnight in the surrounding area and felt very safe. No disturbing noises outside or inside at any time. However, two things could be improved: one, a small fridge in the room and the internet service was not very good, mostly at nighttime. We were very satisfied and we recommend it 100%.

The safe in the room was not large enough to hold my laptop computer. Need to provide larger safes so that you do not leave important items in the room.

The hotel stay was great. I had a few minor issues such as no plates or utinsils with my room service, but overall things were wonderful. My daughter loved the fact that we could overlook the courtyard, and the fact they had shuttles for the outlet mall and parks were fantastic. Please be aware that there is no shuttle from the airport however.

i have stayed in orlando many times about 3-4 times a year and i always use hotels.com this stay was by far the best hotel for the money its location was not exaactly where i needed to be but it is ok the beds were very comfy something you can expect from marriot locations thumbs up

The room was not up to par with other Courtyard Marriot Hotels. We were quite disappointed with the size of room, toiletries available, towels, size of bed (very small!). The service was ok but the actual hotel was quite a disappointment. We would not stay there again.

Great value for the money! We needed a place for one night while waiting to go on a cruise and this place fit the bill perfectly. It wasn't anything fancy but was very clean which was my number one priority.

PRICE, LOCATION, SERVICES WERE GREAT.

The rooms were very clean and modern. The location was great, just minutes from the parks. The complimentary bus to and from the park was great also. I would certainly stay there again if ever in the Orlando area again.

Room was very clean. Excellent Ac unit. All that you need for a short stay.

The hotel was nice and clean and close to entrance of disney. The room was smaller than expected but clean. I didn't like the setup of the TV in the bed room. The second bed could barley see. Also the internet was down and this was very important to my stay so we had to leave earlier than expected. Overall hotel was comfortable but bad timing on the internet.

The hotel is fine in all respects except that the wireless internet in the room did not work. We had to find a seat in the lobby to get the wireless internet access.
