Sutton Place Hotel by the Magnificent Mile - Čikaga

We really expected top of the line and we got that and more. All staff was really friendly and went out of their way to help. Room service was fast and affordable and delicious. The room was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and comfortable, and we loved the view. Can't say enough good things about Sutton Place.

Everything with the hotel itself was satisfactory. They did give us an upgrade for an extra charge which we took. Beds are incredible. So comfortable. The room next to us was so noisy on the third night. We complained twice to the front desk. Each time they called security once around 11:30 and then at 2am. Didn't help much. Wish they could have done more. People should have been kicked out of the hotel, in my opinion. The next day at 9am before we checked out, they were blaring music again. The hotel did try to comp breakfast for us by leaving a message on our hotel room phone, but we didnt get any sleep from the night before our departure day, so they ended up taking money off our bill, not much but my wife was satisfied with it. Hotel has great location. Lots of places to eat around their location. Loved Texas de Brazil on Ohio street.

This hotel was fabulous, the staff was extemely nice and helpful. It was in a great location. I will definitely being staying here when I visit Chicago in the future and I have told all of my family and friends how nice it was.

Overall our stay was great and we enjoyed the Sutton Place Hotel. However the room itself was not as comfortable as we expected. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was great - separate bath and shower are terrific. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, but only if they were to get a good deal on the price.

The hotel is located right near all of the nightlife, restaurants and shopping. The hotel bar is Whiskey's and is very active. I stayed there for a great rate and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great location. Hotel was a bit "clinical". Not what I would call "cozy". But very clean, efficient, up-to-date.

Service was even better -- but I wasn't prepared for the parking fees

deep bath tub/separate shower was a definite plus. View frow 20th floor was spectacular. Park across street was excellent place to hangout, eat ice cream and people watch. loved everything

Had an amazing time. Fantastic location with great bars and restaurants. Staff at the Luxbar wasn't very friendly when I made the fatal mistake of not leaving a 20% tip.

I had to wait for coffee two out of four mornings. One elevator was out of service one morning.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was what we expected. The recommendation I would make would be to offer self parking. You really have no choice but to pay for valet parking and it is pricey.

The location was excellent for dining, shopping, acces to the train. The service was fantastic. We were constantly greeted by the doormen and employees.

The hotel rooms were large, clean, and chic. The location was even better - right on a wonderful park surrounded by restaurants with outdoor seating. A setting more like a european square/plaza. We loved it.

Although we got a great deal through Hotels.com, the incidentals at this hotel are very expensive. Parking, with in and out privileges, is $45 a day. One has to tip very frequently and they have no vending arrangements - even ice has to be ordered from room service. Otherwise, the hotel is very comfortable and extremely convenient for downtown Chicago.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the neighborhood was the best, and the room very comfortable. A great place to stay.

Everything about our stay was top notch but the parking in the hotel garage was too expensive!

Sutton Place was a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We could walk, take a bus or train anywhere we wanted to go. Our room was beautiful, the bed was great and the bathroom had a separate tub and walk-in shower. It was comfortable in every way. We got a good deal from hotels.com and will go there again the next time we visit Chicago.

Very nice hotel for the money. Only major drawback is that it only has 2 elevators and at times the wait was long to get on. Very close to great entertainment spots and restaurants.

This hotel has friendly and helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Floor to ceiling windows provide gorgeous views of Lake Michigan and surrounding area. Only a few blocks from the beach and walking distant to Magnificent mile. Overnight parking was expensive but I guess that is to be expected in downtown Chicago. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chicago.

Beds were very comfortable (pillow top mattresses) and white. All staff were very friendly and polite. Loved the combo bath and shower!! Surrounding neighborhood is quaint....

My husband and I were very surprised at the high quality and the large size of our room. The staff was very accommodating and provided excellent customer service. The location is convenient to great restaurants and shopping at the north end of the Magnificent Mile area. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

we stay here all the time, we love its location the room is always clean and they are pet friendly! I love it contemporary style. We dont like to stay anywhere else.

this was a nice comfy place to stay. located by all the happening on rush street. Many bars, restarants, and clubs if that suits your taste. A mere 2 black walk youre at the magnificent mile. I thought it was a great price considering the area. Most places charge 300 or more a night in that area

The hotel itself was excellent, location right by Rush Street and close to shopping on Michigan Ave excellent also. But what put it over the top for us was the friendliness of all the staff. Of the 50 hotels we've stayed in the last 6 months it is the BEST!

It was outstanding and right in the heart of it all. Only a little pricey to park the car and we were not aware of the cost up front.

Loved the view of the room, great location. Many things to do around the hotel.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Sutton Place. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. We had a corner room, with great views of Lake Michigan and the area. Beds were really comfortable. Amenities were nice - DVD, CD player, etc. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

When I first arrived, my room was not ready, so they upgraded me to a jr suite. After entering my room, I was disappointed. I paid the price I did for the Lake view room, and despite a jr suite, there was no view. I went back to the front desk, and asked them if I could just wait for my Lakeview room to be cleaned. The man was very understanding and got housekeeping on it right away. While we waited, they offered us drinks in the bar. My room was beautiful, and the staff was perfect. The hotel is in the middle of everything!!! A must stay!!!

Sutton Place was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway! Very comfortable and spacious room with a nice view and the bathroom was no less than impressive for a hotel. Decent location, a long walk to the Navy Pier or to Grant Park but a short cab ride. Plenty of choices for dining and shopping in the immediate vicinity. We would stay here again!

So often we stay in places where the bed is uncomfortable and it's difficult to sleep. This king-size bed was so comfortable my husband was trying to find out the manufacturer so we could buy one for home. The hotel is located near lots of shopping, clubs/restaurants and best of the The Pancake House. It was really great to sit outside, read a book and have coffee while waiting for my sleeping folks to slowly dwindle in. The staff was courteous and helpful but not in your face.

We loved staying here; we usually stay in the theater district when we come in from the suburbs, but this gave us a chance for a lovely walk into neighborhoods in one direction, or the many outdoor tables at the Rush St. restaurants in the other. Staff was responsive and gave us an upgrade.

The Sutton Place never disappoints. We've stayed many times and it gets better and better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is the bathrooms are a little out dated.

The parking is a little stiff, $45.00 per day, but everything else was fantastic. The location is outstanding, easy walking to Rush Street clubs and restaurants, and Michigan Avenue Gold Coast shopping. Would stay there again.
