The ambiance was very nice. The bartender was very friendly and accomodating. The pool area had fun music playing and a good amount of people to make the environment fun. The main downfall is that the hotel is a huge maze that's hard to navigate through.

Hotel is very nice with fabulous lobby and restaurant, pool area. Room is well appointed. However, the sofa bed is lumpy and ugly and the bathroom was in serious need of repair with peeling paint and discoloration! Overall, I would stay again, but would recommend that they do a little updating.

Really close to Disneyland only a 10-15 minute walk, room was clean, really comfy and will be staying there again

Perfect hotel for Disneyland visitors. Very chick and modern. Amazing lobby and bar atmosphere. Fun pool and great lounging areas. Friendly staff, great food and perfect view of the Disneyland fireworks. LOVED IT!

A nice place to stay for young people who like to jacuzzi late and have uber-mod furniture. Nice and close to disneyland and very friendly staff--they matched the hotels.com price when we wanted to stay another night!

Everything was lovely. Kids enjoyed theirself, extremely happy about the pool hours being 24hrs! Staff very friendly! We will stay there again.

What a disappointment this hotel experience was! From internet viewing we were totally surprised during our check in when we realized that all rooms had an outdoor exposure and enterance, resulting in a very very noisy, far from peaceful setting. The lobby decor was styled in a Pier 1 vs. Target vibe. The rooms were not designed with function in mind...ie. platform, uncomfortable bed/bedding that encouraged many a stubbed toe. The bathroom shower/tub was tiny, room lighting inadequate, and flat screen T.V. although nicely sized did not feature the ever favorite ESPN channel...striking the final and fateful blow for my husband. A costly mistake for sure.Buyer beware!

The rooms are nothing at all like the web pics. Old window A/C old closets and showers. Bed ok nice flatscreen tv 24 hr pool with bar was about the only highlight. 10 bucks to park? I guess you get what you pay for. Good thing this room was inexpensive.

Hotel was great but the bed frames protrude beyond the mattress and during our stay, my wife took a bad tumble over the edge of one bed. We mentioned it at checkout and the desk person promised to advise management. We used the bar and the breakfast restaurant during our stay and were fully satisfied with service there.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, was extremely friendly, clean and had a great atmosphere.

The room we had was great. Even though we were facing the freeway, you could not hear the noise once inside the room. It was very clean and a good experience.

This hotel is in a great location if you are wanting to spend time at Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure parks. Some of these other reviews say that it is a far walk... but I found it to be a nice short walk, and if walking is not your thing you can jump on a $4 bus that will take you to the parks. This hotel is totally worth the money... only one thing bothered us. When we left for the day, the cleaning staff would turn off the AC unit (probably to save energy cost) so when we got back the room was HOT! But we asked them to leave it on and they did, so all is great! Also you can see the fireworks from the pool, GREAT view.

The hotel grounds and lobby is very nicely done. The rooms were clean but had a one room AC unit that rattle when turned on. The Hotel is situated next to freeway 5 and can be noisy for light sleepers but the AC will muffle the freeway noise. The rooms are pretty spacious and the single king rooms have a couch. You can see fireworks from Disneyland. We chose this hotel because it was right next to Disneyland. Self parking is $12 compared to valet which is two dollars more. I would do self parking. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. They are flexible with check-in. They allow late check-in until 2am. All in all I recommend this hotel.

This hotel had a very modern feel. Made me think of like a sandals resort... It was a little bit of a contradiction because there are so many KIDS there. We stayed next to a room of screaming children.. but what can you expect when you're right next to Disneyland. It seems like the kind of hotel that is for adults only (by decor and happy hour), but its definately kid friendly. The pool is open at all hours, and honestly I didn't mind the children. We also had a PERFECT view of the fireworks from our balcony.

I went for two nights and visited Disneyland. It was a very nice hotel. It looked like I paid so much to be in a fixed up hotel like this yet OMG I paid so little. The quality is amazing and I got a free view of the Disneyland fireworks at night. I loved this place!!!!

We felt like we were staying at a five star hotel at a three star price. Very classy. The ambiance, food, room service and common areas were all excellent. We stayed for three days and on one night watched the Disneyland fireworks from the pool. Ironically we were much closer to the fireworks there and had a much closer view of them than we had two nights earlier from Disneyland itself. The courtyard, decking and pool area are very sweet, and there's an outdoor palapa bar as well as an elegant indoor bar. The Hotel Menage is walking distance from Disneyland and there's a shuttle that takes you there that stops every 20 minutes if you'd rather not drive or walk. The staff were all very friendly. Again, it was a very pleasant surprise that my whole family thoroughly enjoyed.

So great for a young hip and extremely affordable stay. Poolside bar was great with a cool bartender and room service was fast, affordable and tasted better than most area restaurants. There was a freeway adjacent to the hotel so if you want quiet you have top request a room away from the freeway. There are also loud fireworks around 9:30 pm, but a great view of them, from most rooms on the freeway side of the hotel. I took my girl and had a blast.

This hotel has a modern lounge feel to it. The pool area is open 24 hours and is really beautiful. This hotel took the time to make every detail amazing. We ate at the hotel alot because the food was just that good....loved it!! We will definitely be coming back in the future when we want a fun getaway!

We were happy with Hotel Menage. The rooms were clean and nice. The TV was awesome. The bathrooms were clean, the tubs were banged up, but otherwise fine. The pool being open all day was very nice. The location was great. Our family(2 adults, 13 yr old and 10 yr old) were able to walk from Disneyland Main Gate to the Hotel in about 20 mins. Overall for the price we paid this was a good place. Would recommend requesting to be in rooms facing Harbor Blvd.

Wonderful staff, great bartender, we could literally walk to disneyland, Great location. Definately would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had a great time at this hotel so close to Disneyland...we loved the street food selections from the K'Ya restaurant and bar. The pool was great.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was great and very modern. the view of the fireworks was spectacular and the poolside bar was beautiful. The whole atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this hotel

The good points: Great location,only a 10 minute walk to Disneyland,altho they offer an all-day shuttle for a small price. The front desk people were nice,providing access to the parking lot hours before checkin time. Large pool with a hot tub. View of fireworks better than inside park. Restaurant food good,inside and outside bars.Rooms were well decorated,AC worked,plenty of hot water.Next to Hwy 5 but the rooms were still quiet. The bad points: hot tub only lukewarm the first night. Tiny bathroom (not unexpected).Beware the bedframe! Every guest I spoke to had stubbed a toe!!

We love staying at this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. Their restaurant had good food at an inexpensive price. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We liked how our room also came with a sofa/queen size pull out. Although the hotel is located next to the freeway, we could only hear the noise when we stepped out of the room or if our door was open. One complaint we had was about the shuttle. We found ourselves waiting a long time for the shuttles to pick us up. The walk to Disneyland is about 15 minutes if you choose not to ride the shuttle. We recommend this hotel, especially if you plan on visiting Disneyland.

This hotel was decent, but my boyfriend and I won't be staying here again. Admittedly the hotel's exterior and lobby were quite impressive. The lobby is meshed with a modern bar and restaurant that leaves a great first impression. But all that wore off once we stepped into our room. The walls were damaged and looked as if they were in the middle of repair work. The bigger problem was even with the door closed our 2nd floor room was given the gift of booming music from the bar, screaming swimmers, and noise from other guests who were simply walking down the walkways. We called the front desk and were kindly placed in another room on the fourth floor but even then the noise from the highway was fairly noticeable with the door closed. The only trick to disguising the nighttime highway and walkway noise was to turn on the A/C. We are far from picky and for the price we weren't expecting the greatest hotel, but you think this hotel would invest a little more on soundproofing their rooms and maybe a little less on dressing up the lobby. Two pluses were the HDTV and the 24 hour pool. In short, the Menage had was a decent deal but with all the noise we won't be staying here again.

The only downside to this hotel is that I can't find one in every city I visit. This was, without a doubt, my favorite hotel on a 3-week trip along the west coast. If you're looking for a place that has character, is chic and fun, Hotel Menage is for you. Make sure--seriously don't miss it--you visit the hotel restaurant, k'ya. When my girlfriend and I went, the chef had just unveiled the "Street Fare" menu. It was delicious and incredibly affordable. The gracious and fantastic waitstaff made the experience all the more wonderful. You will not regret staying at the Hotel Menage.

I chose this hotel because of the previous reviews regarding the location to Disneyland and the pool area. Upon arriving the pool area is not as large as it seems in the picture, but you can't really rely on these pictures anyway. The pool is smaller, but still nice, although a tad chilly. The jacuzzi is always popular, even at 2:30 in the morning! My room overlooked the pool area, and we did not notice any noise or music, so that was definitely a plus. The room was nicely decorated, and the bed is very comfortable...just be careful of the bed frame, it took a couple of stubbed body parts to remember to make a bigger loop around the bed! The flat screen tv is nice as well. The only downside to this room was the bathroom area. The walls were splotchy and not smooth, and the bathroom is a pretty tight fit. The water pressure from the shower head is not good, but the hand held head that is hooked up on the side is really great and gives great pressure. I ended up using this one even though it meant I had to hold it up over my head! As for the fireworks from Disneyland, you can see them from the pool area, which was great. The restaurant offers a cheap menu for small items so that you can order a bunch for a reasonable price. Overall, good stay. I will come back next time I am in the area!

My husband and I took our two kids (12 and 9) to Disneyland and stayed at the Hotel Menage. The best parts were: the pool (well done and great place to watch the fireworks), and the location (we walked to Disneyland both days with lots of restuarants on the way). The room we stayed in was pretty small and the beds weren't as comfortable as the ones in the last hotel chain I stayed at, although I did appreciate that they were queen size and not double. The room was clean enough, but we could tell it's an old building and you really hear the neighbors and the street noise. Overall we had a good experience there.

For the price and location, the hotel is fairly good. But the room they stuck me and my girlfriend in (room 148) it left me never wanting to stay at this hotel again. First off, when we first stepped into the room, we noticed a rather off-putting orange smear on one of the walls. Secondly, our room was not only right infront of the elevators, it was also next to a large security gate that other hotel guests liked to slam at all hours of the night. I did not get sleep for two nights in a row. After calling down to the front desk numerous times between the hours of 2 Am and 4 AM, I was finally able to get some sleep after one of the security guards came and propped a trashcan infront of the gate. However, early the next morning someone had decided to move the trashcan again. I called the next night about propping open the gate and after two calls still no one had done anything. I finally got fed up and pushed the trashcan infront of the gate myself until someone again moved it out of the way! I finally lodged a complaint with the night manager on our last night. I had tried getting us moved a few nights earlier but the clerk on hand told me that the hotel was booked solid. However, the night manager was very apologetic about the situation and got us moved fairly quickly on our last night. I will say that the hotel has a very modern, club-like vibe to it, the bar was decked out in swank lights and had a nice view of the pool. I did enjoy the large flat screen HD tv in the room. But having to put up with that gate that slammed and seemed to shake our entire room I would not recommend that to anyone.

We absolutely loved Hotel Menage. The room was cozy and spacious. It was decorated well with a lofty feel. It was very clean, but the bathroom was dated. The staff was incredible...the front desk employees go out of their way to help you and the valets were more than helpful. The pool and hot tub were great. We spent most afternoons there enjoying the company and the happy hour specials. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk to Disneyland and many area restaurants without any problems. We would certainly stay there again if we return to the Anaheim area.

THE ONLY BAD THING I WOULD HAVE TO SAY WAS THE BED WASN'T THAT GREAT,BUT THE ROOMS WERE VERY NICE.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, linens were of good quality, and the bed had five pillows. the only negative was the mattress could have been better, but I have had worst in more expensive hotels. The other negative is that the lighting in the vanity area was very poor so shaving and putting on make-up was difficult. Pool area, elevators and hall ways were kept clean. This hotel is on the corner of Ball and Harbor and backed by I-5 so the is a noise issue but. Also, parking is $10-$12 a night.

Just to let you know, parking fee $10 for hotel, plus disney parking $12, if you leave your car at hotel can walk to disney - 1/2 mile away but you have to cross a highway and bridge - dangerous for little children. Anaheim transit shuttle $4 per adult and $2 for kids so same as Disney parking if you have children. Room was clean,pull out sofa bed queensized and comfortable. Bathroom very small and not vented. Outside of hotel and in room decor dark brown. At night it was dark in the hallways but there are lights and hotel is security gated, so its safe. There is a gym, laundry machines, 24 hour pool and jacuzzi. Room service prices cheaper than food at Disney. The only complaint was only 1 ice machine per floor and if your room not close to it - its a long walk to find ice.

This hotel is renovated -- rooms aregood and clean but it is RIGHT on a very busy highway and it is quit noisy. If youare planning to enjoy the pool and relax the noise level will disturb you. If your interest is the Disney Parks the hotel is right NEXT to Disney --- so the location is great for that situation.

there were a few things wrong with the romm. they repaired the problems but it took them two day to do it. also, nowhere was i informed on hotels.ocm or the hotel web site that they charged $10.00 a night ot park your car at the hotel. i thnk this bothered me more than anything. not so much the parking fee, but rather no indication of it until you arrived. the ice machines on tow of the floors were down requiring you to go down two floors for ice. the freeway side of the hotel was EXTREMELY noisy from the second floor up, so request a room away from that side.

For the price we paid, it was average. But we would never stay in this hotel again. WE encountered several issues during our stay here. First, we called in a full month advance requesting for fridge and microwave for our room, as soon as we checked in we were told we were in a waiting list?!? They never gave us our microwave, but on our very last night they managed to bring us our fridge. Second, the room looked somewhat decent,but as we noticed more the bathroom paint was peeling off from the bathtub and the bathroom ceiling. No bathroom fans also. Third, what grossed us out even more was there appeared to be a pubic hair in our bathtub the minute we walked in there. Housekeeping anyone?? Fourth, there was a visible shoe imprint on the celing just above our bed, with a dead spider still stuck there. And be careful not to hit your shin on the bed corners...we must've hit ours several times during our stay-ouch!!- Overall comment: this hotel is an illusion...looks nice from the outside,but seriously needs lots of improvements with their room interiors

The only good thing about this hotel is the excellent bar and view of the fireworks. Everything else was a nightmare. The room we stayed in had a very cold and industrial feeling. The ceiling was painted black to try to hide all of the plumbing and electrical pipes. The floor was painted cement. The bathroom had no hot water and peeling paint. The sheets had big stains on them. There was an adjoining door in our room and we could hear everything that the guests in the next room were saying, which kept us up until 1 am. The jacuzzi was luke-warm and they played only reggae music. Thankfully, we only stayed there one night.

Hotel wasn't what we expected for price we paid. Was close to Disneyland, which was nice. Staff wasn't very organized or knowledgeable of the area - long waits in line, mix-ups, and wrong directions to stores were given. If you want a fridge and/or microwave in your room, request it early. We had a 2-day wait period and when the fridge did arrive, it was very tiny, they set it on the floor and left, and it didn't have much of a freezer. Parking costs extra - $10/$12 *per day*, so be aware of that before booking. There is also *no* complimentary breakfast of any sort, so plan to also spend money on that. The staff was generous to comp breakfast for us when room service walked into our room at 7:00AM. Apparently the Do Not Disturb sign is necessary that early in the morning. The pool is open 24 hours, but we never used it. The whole hotel has a club/party atmosphere, including the outdoor tiki bar by the pool, but there were still families and older couples staying at the hotel. The walk to Disneyland takes about 10 minutes but you have to cross I-5 over a bridge, but was still faster than having to pay for parking at the Park (which costs as much as parking at the hotel) and then waiting on trams. The food at their restaurant K'ya was good, but costly - a bowl of cereal is $7. You're right on the freeway so it's loud when you are outside your room, but once you are inside your room with the fan blowing, the fan drowns out any outside noise.

This hotel seemed like a club with a hotel merged with it! But for my boyfriend and I, this was perfect. The pool is open 24 hrs, and so we stayed out by the jacuzzi until the firework show by Disneyland was finished. The food was good from the restaurant, we ordered shrimp and Korean beef. The room was comfortable, but we couldn't log onto the free wifi provided, which was really a downer because I had business to do.
