Hotel de Castiglione - Paryžius

The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of most amenities, buses,metro, shops etc. However the room was very small with old furniture, carpet and tired drapes. The bar closed at 10.00pm and there was no area to sit in on returning to the hotel in the evening. The staff were all very pleasent and helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and have found it very adequate especially because the location is superb...however, this time the room had no A/C and the elevator was down for 2 days...the price is right...I would give it a try again

You get a great price but the condition is that there are no cancellations. Once you get there you find out that you lost your money because you can't stay. It's dirty, dark smaller then usual rooms and the visits of mice and insects. No point complaining there are no cancellations and the people there if they care to talk to you can't do anything about it not even get you a cab so you can go find another place to stay.Hotels.com should not carry this property.

It may be on a cool street but this is not a cool hotel....and it's a shame. Original features I guess from 20's and 30's, good location, nice staff..and the room was quirky and clean. BUT boy was it musty...and smelt damp. Really 70's that way:). The food was also 70's I asked for a room service club sandwich and the chicken was processed stuff.....utterly depressing and a real shame. Nope never again, felt I was in "rising damp" and not wanting to stay there ever again.

Hotel bedroom was badly needing refurbished and decorated. Sound proofing was poor I could hear the person above using the toilet.

The best thing about the hotel is its excellent location in the ehart of Paris which makes walking to major attractions possible. But hotel in need of an update. Our Room was small, with some flaking paintwork Breakfast at 20euros was extortionate. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and all spoke excellent English.

this hotel is conveniently located in Paris' 8th District. the rooms were comfortable and large and it's location near Embassy Row and the French Presidential Palace made us feel safe walking anytime. The bar has a neat sidewalk cafe and we were with in walking distance of many of the sites of Paris we wished to visit.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall, the lobby, other common areas, and the room itself were not very clean, the walls had holes in them, the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, things in the room did not work, e.g. the trashcan lid wouldn't open and the bathtub wouldn't drain, the shower had no screen so water would splash all over the bathroom, the room wouldn't get cleaned unless one called the lobby and asked for it to be cleaned, there were no extra pillows when requested, the room was just plain ugly, and there were many more shortcomings that are too numerous to list. In addition, the rate paid at the time of booking the reservation was supposed to include breakfast for two each day (an appealing perk given the weak stae of the dollar vs. the euro), however, at check-in the hotel said the rate did not include breakfast at all. The hotel was not very accommodating and acted like they were doing us a favor by just letting us stay there, let along providing breakfast.

This hotel was built in the 1930's and has never been updated or remodeled. The room was very small for two adults with one child. The bedspread was dirty and the shower wall had mold all over. The hotel's restaurant was ok for a bad cup of coffee at best. We have traveled to nine other countries throughout the years and never paid so much for so little. We should have spent the extra 50 Euros a night on a well know name hotel. Very displeased.

Hormis sa situation l'hôtel ne présente aucun intérêt et ressemble plus à un 3 étoiles à la décoration défraîchie. Le point positif est certainement la situation et la sécurité omni présente du Faubourg Saint Honoré. Une bonne adresse pour personne seule souhaitant marché le soir sans être importuné.

l'accueil est vraiment indigne d'un 4 etoiles. Les prestations sont depassees, le mobilier vieillot, l'agencement digne du temps des gaulois ou on faisais pas de plan pour construire une maison... bref, un 4 etoiles qui n'en merite que 2 ...

Bra hotell, pent og rent og sentral beliggenhet. Her har du gangavstand til Louvre, Madelaine, Champs de Elysees, mv. Det er også greit å ta metro herfra til det meste. Også sentralt for shopping og spisesteder.

Skulle inte ge detta hotell 4 stjärnor men jag vet inte om vi fick ett dåligt rum. Vårt rum såg nämligen inte alls ut som på bilderna. Men ett helt ok hotell med bra läge, nästan granne med franska Presidenten och mitt i shopping kvarteret. Lyhört och sjukt trånga rum men rent och fyllde sin funktion.

Hotel ubicato in posizione ideale per visitare Parigi. Eccessivo il costo della prima colazione e delle consumazioni.

pour un hotel 4 etoiles qui facture la connection internet à 10E c'est honteux; alors que plein d'hotels 3 etoiles vous l'offrent gratuitement . et puis le petit dejeuner à 20E c'est exagéré.

La postazione è molto centrale,ma il rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo. Camera e letto piccolissimi con vista muro e a 30 cm da la finestra della camera adiacente. Colazione costosa e non soddisfacente.

emplacement de reve pour l ambiance parisienne,le shoping,resto... La chambre ,tres propre etait tres confortable,avec une belle salle de bain modernea; Le petit dejeuner est malheusement trop cher!

La posizione dell'albergo è splendida. La nostra camera era all'ultimo piano, grande e spaziosa ma con mobili piuttosto vecchi. Il bagno grande e spazioso era stato riammodernato. Gli ascensori un po' stretti. Il personale è corretto. La nostra camera non aveva lo standard 4 stelle, a mala pena 3, ma la posizione dell'albergo è super.
