Del Sol Inn - Anaheim Resort - Anahaimas

I took my two grown daughters and two granddaughters to Disneyland. We found Del Sol on Hotels.com. It was everything they said. I would stay here again and again. The staff had our requested crib waiting in the room when we arrived. Very clean and the pool was the bright spot for the much needed cool down during our day time break from hot Disneyland. Location, location, location.

This hotel was great for the price and is literally across the street. Unlike other hotels that say across the street this one is located right where everyone crosses to go in the park. It was clean while I was there I had no real problems. I could hear the next rooms shower pretty good but hey it's a hotel. I enjoyed it, food was close and you can come back to your room to eat cuz it is so close. If you have children I would recommend it so you don't have to carry them far after a long day. Didn't use the pool but others were enjoying it

We chose this hotel by using Google Earth, deciding which hotels were actually the closest, and which was the cheapest among those hotels. This hotel was the closest-cheapest we could find while we were doing our research. I had read a lot of reviews, and most were pretty accurate. There were a number however, that blasted the hotel for poor service and room cleanliness. My experience in this hotel must have been different than theirs, because I have nothing negative to say. The temperature of the water did change frequently, but it wasn't anything to complain about. We flew into Long Beach and took a taxi to the hotel early in the morning. We showed up like at 9:00 or 9:30. We had called ahead to see if they could stow our luggage while we hit up the park in the morning and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They were true to their word. In fact, they told us that while our room wasn't clean yet, we could check in and stow our stuff in it anyway. So we checked in 5 hours earlier than the check-in time, dropped our luggage off in a room without a made bed, and went to the park. Some people that might have bothered, but we were just fine with it. We stayed for 4 nights and each time we came back to a clean room (and they DID refill the toilet paper, but there wasn't a spare roll in the bathroom). The toilet clogged one night so I ran down to the desk and asked for a plunger and fixed it myself, it worked fine after that. The staff was friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. We didn't fly out until late Friday afternoon, and we were worried about carrying our luggage around Downtown Disney all day. They were happy to let us put our 3 pieces of luggage in their office for the day while we went shopping, ate lunch and caught a movie. In the end, we couldn't beat the price, we couldn't beat the distance, the staff was great, and this hotel made our Disney trip fantastic.

Both people with whom I made contact while checking in and checking out exceeded my expectations with their service. They were both prompt, friendly, and efficient, moreso than I've experienced at similar locations. The pool was fantastic! It was always clean and the water was the perfect temperature. I just wish it had been bigger. Everyone liked it so much that we all had to share.

The best part about this hotel is the location. It is literally right across the street from disneyland. The room was comfortable except for the water in the shower which would not get hot. If you are looking for a cheap and convenient room, this hotel is a good choice, but remember you only get what you pay for.

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting Disneyland..what a great location! Everyone was friendly & the pool & room were very nice. The breakfast was very limited & the internet costs $10/day..but overall a great experience!

I SAW TWO ROACHES. THEY PROVIDE A COFFEE MAKER BUT IF YOU WANT TO MAKE COFFEE YOU MUST WALK TO FRONT DESK AND ASK FOR COFFEE BAG (IT IS PRINTED ON THE COFFE MAKER). NOT ENOUGH TOWELS FOR A FAMILY OF FOUR - 2 ADULTS + 2 KIDS. SOAP, SHAMPOO, ETC. NOT ENOUGH. I WILL NOT BOOK AT DEL SOL INN, ANAHEIM, CA AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE IS. I WILL STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE. WE VISIT DISNEYLAND TWICE PER YEAR. LOCATION IS CONVENIENCE BUT ALSO THERE ARE OTHER LOCATIONS THAT I HAVENO COMPLAINT ABOUT.

The Del Sol Inn, is located across from Disneyland, however, it is located way in the back of Denny's, and if you happen to get a room way in the back, well, then it is a long walk and no different than staying a block away. I had called prior to my arrival, as I knew I would be late and wanted to make sure I had a downstairs room and they stuck me totally way in the back, in the dark, last room they said that was left and then the room was just dirty. The carpet was stained, the bathroom smelled of mold and it just was awful. The bedspreads had stains and this was just not acceptable. Then the folks above us came and would not be quiet, so finally at 1:30 I called the front desk and asked them to please ask them to stop jumping. I think I had 3 hours of sleep. Continental breakfast was a total joke, never went back. Stopped by the desk @ 7:30 am, asked them to please clean our room and to clean out the bathroom/carpet and left to Disneland. Came back at 2:30pm, room never touched. I was furious. I told them, it was bad enough that the room was moldy and the carpet was dirty, but to not even get to our room, was unbelievble. They changed our room, to one that the carpet was not stained and they seemed to clean a little better, so the workers helped up move rooms. This was a little better, still way in the back, but the carpet was not as dirty. I will continue to stay at the Anaheim Plaza Inn & Suites, for the money and distance, it is much better.

Overall I felt it was a very enjoyable stay. The desk was very polite and tried to be very helpful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but you weren't really paying for that anyway! The main entrance of Disneyland was literally right across the street. We never even had to move our car from the hotel parking lot, it was great! Definitely worth the money!

The hotelis in a great location.its directly across disneyland. the only problem is the breakfast it wasnt that good.the rest is great.

We stayed at this hotel and overall it was a pretty good deal. Location was fabulous. Housekeeping had some issues as they were very slow to straighten up the room and seemed to be conserving toilet paper as I had to repeatedly ask for some. All in all I would for sure stay there again. Pool and hot tub area was very well kept.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and had free parking, a microwave and mini fridge. You really can't beat the location, it is literally a 7 minute walk to the Disney gates! I would stay here again beacause it was very affordable and in great proximity to Disneyland.

Hotel is a five minute walk from Disneyland's front gate. Rooms were nice, with fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, knew our names and were very efficient.

We arrived early not really expecting to be assigned a room early, but to our surprise, we got a room before noon. Very large room but way in the back of the property. Nice and quiet. The second day of our stay, when I woke up, I was unable to put any weight on my leg. Unsure how we were going to get to disneyland to get a cart, my daughter went to the front desk and found a scooter place 2 doors down from our hotel. They delivered the scooter within 30 minutes and away we went. Thanks to the front desk for all their help

I have stayed at this hotel twice. I will only ever stay here when going to disneyland.The location is perfect and the staff is very nice. I had an amazing time and will return.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past 4 years and have always been pleased with my room and the staff. Very helpful and friendly people and you can't get a closer room to Disneyland for the price. I'd recommend to anyone who asked.

The water doesn't stay the same temperature for 10 seconds at a time. There was pubic hair stuck to our toilet when we got there. Terrific location. The beds were moderately comfortable. It's great to have Denny's and IHOP right next door. And of course Disneyland is just right across the street. This hotel made me feel like a jungle mammal.

This was a last minute trip to Disneyland. In fact we set reservations only for the day before. So we were concerned about the cost and what kind of room we would get. Our worries were immediately elimanated when we showed up @ 7:30 am and got the help from Jamil. He was more then accomodating. I asked if possible on the short notice if I could have a room on the bottom floor and without hesitation he said absolutely. Check-in was supposed to be at 2pm but he said that our room would be ready by 12pm. Rooms very clean; the shower would run hot & cold but no big deal; you could hear the people upstairs but they weren't there for long. Just squeaky floors is all. Since I have a disability it was fantastic that disneyland was directly across the street. Will definately go to this hotel again.

We came to Anaheim to go to Disney, so the location being only a 5 minute walk to the ticket booths was awesome. You're really paying for the location of the hotel because everything else was average or below. Breakfast was bare minimum continental, no wireless internet, they didn't even have a spare toilet paper roll in the room. I'd go again, but with the knowledge that I shouldn't expect much.

i dont know what there was not to love about this place. i stayed 4 days and isnt a thing to complain about.,,,sure the water change a few degrees during a shower but not enought to make a difference, didnt attempt the breakfast, we brought our own or went out.although you have to get the coffee at the front desk if you want to make it in your room. the room size was huge as to what i touhgt we were getting. the pool size was a great size considering the amount of space they had. and i never moved my car until the last night there and getting a parking spot was not a prob. we will be back here again, great location for our 4 yr. old. and it is as they say, right across from the front entrance. great stay

The Del Sol Inn was cleaner than any hotel or house for that matter. Not a speck of dust anywhere, no mold, just clean clean clean! There was someone who cleaned the pool every morning and even wiped down the tables and chairs by the pool and hot tub too. This hotel is right across the street from Disneyland. No having to drive anywhere and find parking. Took 5 minutes if that to walk. I will stay here again next time we go to CA.

Right across the street from Disneyland. The towels were thread bare. This was the second time staying at this Motel. We will stay again if the price is right.

Very convenient, across the street from Disneyland. Refrigerator and microwave in the room is a plus. Try to stay on the 2nd floor. On the first floor, you can hear and feel the kids upstairs running and screaming in the morning. They sound like a herd of elephants.

I loved this motel! It was so perfect. The location couldn't have been better. The room itself was large, clean, perfect for families with kids. The continental breakfast could have included more fruit and mabey lasted until 10am (instead of 9am), but otherwise was great to have cereal, toast and juice before going to disney. I loved the fact that this is a smaller motel and is set back behind the dennys, as opposed to being right on the main street. I never had a problem with the water temp, as many people complained about, and we had no problem with parking, either.The only suggestion I have for the Del sol is mabey they could invest in some two ply toilet paper! I will definately stay here next time I visit Anaheim.

Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Ammenities included refrigerator, microwave, HBO and Disney Channel. Pool is extremely small, but we were not there for swimming so that was not a concern. Located directly behind a Denny's and directly across the street from Disneyland, which is convenient after a long day walking through the park. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel over the past 3 years and have been satisfied with every stay.

The good things were that the room was newly renivated, right across the street from Disneyland and friendly staff. The Not so good were all the chars in the room had gross stains on them so we could not sit down on them, the bath towls and bath room were fit for a child and the hot tub need to be cleaned or chemicaly balanced. But for the price it was good. I would stay agine.

I took my teenage daughter and her friend for a weekend at the Disneyland Resort and this hotel was perfect for our needs. The hotel is right across from Disneyland, and close to restaurants. The room was clean and it was roomy enough for all three of us. The microwave and refrigerator were great for leftovers. The breakfast was only toast, some danishes, a couple cereals, coffee, and juice. So don't count on the breakfast if that's a big meal for you. The only drawback is that some sounds echo in the courtyard between the buildings. Otherwise, it was quiet and the beds were comfortable.

I have two small children and the location of this hotel related to Disneyland was great. We could go to Disneyland during the day, walk home and swim in the pool, grab dinner, and return in the evening. The room was clean and the hotel quiet and convenient. The staff was helpful.

Very close to Disneyland's main entrance. There was easy access back and forth from the park to hotel for afternoon naps. Not the fanciest rooms but they are comfortable and convenient.

This place is almost right across the street from the Disneyland entrance, so it fit our criteria for location, location, location. It is very affordable. The towels are scratchy (BYO) and the water in the shower randomly changes temperature, but that keeps you singing! Ha ha ha! It encourages you to get in and get out quickly, while saving water. Very green in a back handed sort of way.

Great location. right across from Disneyland, very close to restaurants. Parking is a problem sometimes. lady that checked me in, very friendly. remembered me. when I came back to the front desk. other front desk person had no clue what to do. when I tried to pay my bill the night before, because I checked out of the hotel before 5am. Other than that Stay was great!

We knew going in there was no elevator, it would have been nice to be able to reserve a 1st floor room for handicapped person. Stairs were very difficult at times. Check in and check out were both quick and easy. Front desk personnel were very gracious.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was clean. This hotel is not fancy but if your looking for a clean place right across the street from Disney Land this is the place for you. Parking is tight but once you park your car you won't have to move it till you leave. You can store your lunch in the fridge and walk back to the room to eat and take a break from the park. I will stay here again.

Hotel staff was very friendly. They allowed us to check in early. The room was very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. Having a refrigerator in the room was convenient. There was also a microwave and coffee maker, but no coffee provided. The complimentary breakfast was just OK. Fortunately, Denny's is right in front of the hotel. Being able to walk back and forth from hotel to Disneyland was very convenient.

Last Disneyland trip we stayed at the Sheraton which was a very nice hotel, but had to wait to take the shuttles back and forth, sometimes had to wait for a second shuttle. So this year we chose Del Sol directly accross the street. We could come and go to Disneyland as we pleased without any waiting and the hotel wasnt bad at all. Well worth it and this is where we will stay next time as well!

We picked this hotel for the location only. We walked right across the street to Disneyland. However, we could hear every step from the folks in the room directly above us. Basic hotel. OK for the price. Lady at front counter was nice and professional.

The location was great, we had our grandchildren with us and it was wonderful just to get out the strollers and walk over to the Park. It was nice not having to fold them up and down to get on and off the trams and trollys (especially on our way back from the Park at night). We were able to walk them over to the hotel and let them take a nap and then stoll them back to the Park to stay until closing. Our mattress was very comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep.

Location was superb. It takes a few minutes to walk from the rear of motel to Harbor blvd. Less than one minute to the crosswalk leading to the park entrance. There is a Denny's at the front of the property and a IHOP and another buffet style restaurant within a minute walk on the sidewalk. The desk persons were very friendly and quick. The hotel was clean in all areas including the room. It was quiet. Parking was tight but there were spaces for each room. The room lacked a pen and paper and a do not disturb sign. The carpet was a little loose. Overall the room #218 was very large and furnished nicely. Will stay here again and would Not consider paying 25 to 40% to stay elsewhere within walking distance.

Very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the owner was on site and was great to deal with. The room was very nice with a refrigerator ans a microwave. Maid service was excellent. We were close to everything that we needed. We will definitely stay there again.

Hot/cold knob on air conditioner didn't work. Small roach found in bathroom at night. Doors between rooms are noisy, I could here everything the neighbors said.
