Little Palace Hotel - Paryžius

Five work colleagues and I stayed at this hotel for a full week. When we got there, they did not have water for the first 8 hours. The air conditioner did not work very well in any of the rooms. The phone system and its wake up calls were not reliable. Breakfast was too simple to cost 15 euros. On the positive side, the location is good and the staff was very friendly.

Excellent hotel for our needs: near Metro, clean, modern where it counts, in Le Marais so good for walking to restaurants, etc. The pleasant surprise was that the hotel had enough Parisian character to make a stay feel like you'd gone to Paris - this is no bland Novotel. Staff spoke enough English to compensate for my terrible French. Even with the window open it was very peaceful and quiet. This might not be the same if you had a front-facing room, but because the hotel is not directly on a main road, but faces onto a square, I think everyone gets a good night's sleep. A good, inexpensive (for Paris) base for a long weekend in Paris.

The only thing that i would say about this hotel is that the description in hotels.com is slightly misleading. The rooms are absolutly tiny, and as with the rest of France the people are largely unhelpful.

Would recommend. Attractive interior - very clean. Helpful English speaking staff. Opposite small park so quiet and peaceful yet close to large shops and Metro.

The hotel is conveniently located, and room is clean. However, when I first checked in, I found the rubbish bin was not cleaned. Breakfast was good with nice service, but the first desk staff is not very friendly. Especially the short lady working there.. she was snobbish!

Great hotel, mum and I thought the location was great, the room itself was excellent, they had run out of twin rooms when we arrived so we were upgraded to a suite - very comfortable.

This was a lovely little hotel, right beside the metro. I would highly recommend it.

Nice hotel in the 10th, my main issue is the lack of a bar to relax in and unwind after the day. It does have an area that they call a bar but it is small dingy and nobody ever goes there including the staff, which makes it kind of pointless.

If your traveling to Paris to see all the sights then this hotel is for you. If your going to Paris to sit in your hotel room then you may want to consider another hotel. Hotel is reasonably priced, located about a mile away from the most popular Paris sites. Yes, the room is small but its clean and serves the purpose. Yes, the elevator is small but its serves the purpose. Personnel are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone, espacially those on atight budget and who dont mind a little walking

Would recommend to friends, ideal central base for a weekend

The reason I chose this hotel was because of the price and the star rating of it. The reception area was very nice, and likewise with the room. The only things I didn't like about this room was the glass doors for the bathroom. I don't think that was a very good idea. Also, I know I might sound over the top, but the towels they has were grey instead of being white. Overall a good hotel, but I'd probably find somewhere else to go next time I go to Paris.

Hotel right beside Reamur Sebastapol metro station (less that 5 minutes walk) so really convenient to get to and from the airport and to all areas of the city. About 10 mins walk from Pompideu centre and some really nice restaurants around the area. Room very small but I believe that's the norm in Paris. Can't really comment on the service as we didn't eat in the hotel or didn't order any room service.

Farther from the tour route than I would have preferred, but clean with a friendly and helpful staff on duty 24 hours. I would stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, 9/17-9/20 2008. Choice of this hotel based from various reviews from this and other sites. Overall stay was pleasant. Staff was helpful with questions and spoke English. Size of room was very small with little room to move around, as was the bathroom. Shower bearly can fit one person. Location was approx. 2-3 blocks from Metro station which provides access to all tourist sites. Subway system is fast and efficient once learned and takes about 10-15 minutes to arrive at local tourist sites. Buy Paris Metro Pass available for 1, 2, 3 days or longer with unlimited use of all Metro (subway, train and buses). Unable to comment on food at Hotel because ate all meals elsewhere. Many small Cafe's nearby (1-2 blocks away),2 blocks away was a KFC and Mc Donalds that was closed for renovation. Would probably stay at another Hotel and pay more for a larger room.

We had a fantastic stay at The Little Palace. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (don't believe all you hear about Parisians!!) and the room was fantastic. Great location, very close to 2 metro stations so you have easy access to teh rest of Paris.

Great location. We stayed for a week in Paris. Originally our reservation was for three days. We decided to stay longer and were given a much better rate for the remainder of our stay. This a small hotel, very French, none of the American amenities, but very charming. The staff is wonderful.

The hotel was in an excellent location, just steps away from metro and in a non-touristy area. Would not stay there again and would pay more for a nicer, large room at a different location. The breakfast was good. Our room was tiny and overstuffed w/furniture. Would work well for a single traveler but 2 people in the room, difficult. Did I say the room was tiny!!!

Bra centralt läge, gångavstånd till det mesta bla Marailkvarteren, Les Halles etc. Fruksot serveras till 10.30.

Hotellet har en normal standard. Det ligger sentralt og vi kunne gå til de fleste av atraksjonene i Paris. Vi liker å gå når vi er på ferier. For noen vil enkelte av turene blitt litt lange, men der er er godt utbygget transpottnett i byen. Både undergrunn og busser var det kort avstand til, ca et hundre meter.

Interesting location and easy distance to the Metro. Hotel is lovely - big, light room (especially for the money) and nice bathroom - very modern style with some natural light by using a frosted glass door into the bedroom. We were given a room with balcony overlooking the little park - which was just excellent. Double glazing very effective - but hotel in on a quiet side street anyway. Air-con also very good (it was 28-30oC outside!). Furnishings nice and use of Klimt artwork throughout hotel is a nice touch. Would be a great place for a romantic few days. Also very close to a whole street of Indian/Pakistani restuarants (Brady's Passage).

Fint hotel, pænt og rent. God beliggenhed tæt ved metro Reaumur Sebastopol og i gåafstand til Hallerne, Marais m.m. Hotellet har rigtige dyner og ikke de der irriterende lagner :-)

Hotel très agreable ainsi que le personnel , compétent sympathique et souriant ce qui est rare ...à Paris !!!

Værelset var pænt og forholdsvis rummeligt med dejlig fransk altan ud til en lille park. Der var fint lydisoleret men morgenmaden var kedelig.

Som förstagångsbesökare i Paris tyckte vi läget var kanon med närhet till det mesta men ändå inte i turistmeten. Tunnelbanestation i princip utanför dörren. Rent och serviceinriktad personal som pratade bra engelska. Det sämsta var frukosten som till priset €15 inte var särskilt prisvärd.

The hotel is located in the Marais area in Paris which is a great starting point for exploring Paris. Bike rent is located next door. It's the best way to get around on a Sunday in Paris. I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel except it is a little expensive.

Een comfortabel hotel op loopafstand van metro en Centre Pompidou. Kamers zijn niet al te groot maar wel compleet en hebben een fijne badkamer. Onze 3 kinderen mochten samen op 1 kamer zonder extra kosten.

Alt var godt væggene er lidt tynde men det er også det eneste minus

Godt lille hyggeligt hotel. Venligt personale. Ligger perfekt hvis man er på storbyferie og gerne vil se og shoppe.

Klein aber nett, auch sauber. Liegt sehr nahr zur Stadtszentrum.

Hotellet var pent og rent det. Hyggelig betjening, men rommet ( et twinbeds rom i 5. et.) var litt lite og spesielt badet. Er ikke helt fortrolig med å ha kun frostet glassdører inn til toalett og bad!

Allt var perfekt, förutom att dörren till badrummet är i glas det gör att man inte får någon privacy. Därför kommer jag inte att bo där igen. Tyvärr.

Svårt att sova eftersom det var stökigt, mycket oliv sent på natten och väldigt lyhört mellan rummen och rummen och korridoren. I övrigt var hotellet bra, mycket bra frukost.

Bonne impression générale, chambre correcte. Ascenseur petit (1 personne+1 valise). J'ai passé 2 nuits. Bonne insonorisation de l'extérieur mais pas avec les chambres voisines. 2ème matin: réveil à 7h30 par la réception pour savoir si je restais 1 nuit de plus... drôle de façon!!
