Timhotel Le Louvre - Paryžius

Great hotel based on location. Close to everything and a two minute walk to the Metro. The rooms are very small, somewhat typical of budget hotels in Paris (think cruise ship size - the bathroom and shower too). I would strongly recommend this hotel to people looking for location and understand European hotels.

Right behind the Louve, so perfect central location. No fuss, fairly basic, cheap yet comfortable, this hotel was a perfect base for a 4 day city break. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable, and happy to go out of their way to help. The room was very clean. A couple of good restaurant/cafes next door.

We were vary happy with the Timhotel le Louvre. Great location, nice, clean rooms, and a great price. If you're expecting to spend a lot of time in your room and want lots of space to spread out, this isn't the place for you. But its Paris - go see the sites, for crying out loud! The rooms are small by American standards, but ours were clean, neat, and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again - you just can't beat the location.

Loved the area the hotel was in. Room was small and the shower even smaller. Beds were comfortable but they only gave us one extra pillow. If you are planning on spending a lot of time in your room this hotel is not for you but if you plan to be out of your room (this is Paris!) you will find it a great place.

If you want a location central to everything for a reasonable price, Tim absolutely fits the bill. The room isn't spacious, but we didn't come to Paris to sit in the room. You can't beat its accessibility to the Louvre area, metro, etc. Service was outstanding.

This was a great location...really great. The room was newly redone but very basic and small by US Standards. Tiny shower. I would not want to be at this hotel during the heat of the summer in Paris...It is unlikely that the AC would keep up. If the windows are open, it is noisy. With the windows closed, you can hear everything going on in the next rooms...bring earplugs. Staff were friendly but did not go out of their way to help. Get breakfast at one of the many cafes within a block or at the bakery around the corner. You can not beat the location at this price.

This hotel is 1 block from the Louvre and 2 metro stops. It is a European style hotel so those looking for large apcious "American" style rooms and bathrooms will be disappointed. I highly recommend this hotel to friends and family looking for great value and location.

Location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but served our purpose for the trip. Would stay there again.

This hotel was a great find. The room was small but comfortable. It was extremely clean and warm. We stayed in January, so this was important. It also has AC. It is very central. There is a kettle in the room but they don't replenish the coffee/milk. I would pay up to 120 for the room but no more.

I will be back to this great hotel. It is on smaller street so even though it is close to many of the main streets and sights (Louvre, D"orsay) it is very quiet. Other reviewers commnented on the size of the shower and bathroom. The shower is not designed for large guests. Yes, the Metropolitqn runs underground newrlby but i did not find this at all a deterent to sleep. AS my stay was in Decmeber I can't commnet on the AC functi0onality. The heat in my room was very good and adjustable.

Small room, but was just fine for what we wanted. Breakfast was good.Good value for the money.

I had booked a single room and it seemed expensive to me -but then I was in Paris. I stayed for one night. THe location was excellent -really close to the Louvre metro station. The room was very small -single bed, bedside table, small closet, desk and bathroom. The shower was quite small -even for European standards!! I could get cold air from the fan, so I opened the window and had a nice breeze. The bed was not the comfiest but after a day all over Paris I dind't care and slept right through! The room was very clean -extra pillows and blankets were already in the closet! And there were some nice places to eat round about. Definitely great for short term stays.

A small hotel and the rooms are tiny but clean and comfortable. The lift only holds two people at a time plus one piece of luggage. Just a short walk to Le Louvre and very near bus stops and the Metro. We used it as the ideal base for a two day stay to visit the museum and the other central attractions. Continental breakfast cost Euro10 per person and was adequate. A reasonable selection of restaurants nearby - turn right out of hotel and right again for about 100 metres.

Given last minute travel arrangements and no availability at my 'preferred' hotels I was skeptical about this hotel however, it exceeded all expectation! I was friendly, very clean, well maintained and most important perfectly located! Being only blocks away from the Louvre, Place de la Concorde and the Muse de Orsay not to mention all the great haute couture salons! Another consideration is its' location to Chatelet Les Halles (RER station to Charles de Gaulle) which is literally a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Good is location relative to Louvre and D'Orsey. Staff was very helpful (said they move me to another room if I found that my room that was on the "smoking" floor has a a smell of tabaco - wasn't the case but appreciated the concern anyway). The only drawback was the building isolation - wouldn't recommend if you have a sensitive sleep.

The location was perfect for easy access to all the main tourist attractions either on foot or by metro or bus transport. The hotel itself was clean but we were disappointed with the size of the room(1st floor overlooking inner courtyard) We found it to be rather claustrophobic.! The beds were comfortable and the facilities in the room were adequate for a short stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and also spoke very good English. We found the hotel breakfast to be OK giving a reasonable continental type selection. It initially sounded expensive, but when compared to eating out at other local restaurants, we decided it was fair value for money compared to Paris prices in general!

The hotel was clean compact right next to the Louvre, four blocks from the Musee D'Orsay, there were several good restaurants right near the Hotel, and the staff was helpful and very courteous.

8-12 Agosto 2009 Sicuramente non un albergo di lusso,la mia stanza peraltro era molto piccola con un bagno ancora più piccolo però si trova praticamente di fronte al museo del Louvre,in una bellissima zona da cui poter raggiungere facilmente (anche a piedi) molte attrazioni della splendida capitale francese. Si sente passare la metro anche dalla stanza ma a Parigi è praticamente normale. La fermata della metro (Linea 1: Louvre-Rivoli) è a 200 m. Nel complesso lo consiglio a chi non vuole spendere troppo per l'alloggio e vuole ritrovarsi in centro senza prendere troppe volte la metro.

300 meter fra Louvre Museum. 200 meter til nærmeste Metro. Dyr frokost, 10 euro pr prs. Kjøp heller deilige baguetter hos bakeren rundt hjørnet. Noe trangt i dusjen......

locazione eccezionale, a due passi dal louvre e a poca distanza da molti dei monumenti più belli di parigi. Ben collegato, pulito, stanze molto piccole.

This hotel is ideally located next to Louvre, only 2 minutes walk to a metro station. A very good bargain considered price and star rating. This hotel is much better hotel than other 2 stars hotels. Best buy without any doubts!

Et lite, enkelt hotel med ypperlig beliggenhet. Ligger et minutts gange fra Louvre og Metro. Flere restauranter og barer innenfor "kvartals radius". Hotellet har en serviceinnstilt stab, og fremstår som noe underklassifisert med sine 2 offisielle stjerner. Reisefølget var unisont enige om at vi er vant til langt verre fohold med langt dårligere beliggenhet i byer som Paris og f.eks. London. Helt OK frokost også. For de som søker enda mer "trøkk" kan man bare spasere over Pont Neuf-broen til St. Germain.

Das Hotel ist aufgrund seiner Zentrumsnähe sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und nett. Die Zimmer sind klein aber fein. Es wird an alles gedacht, sei es sich einen Tee mit Wasser zu kochen. Netter kleiner Hof zum Relaxen

I suggest this place. good position, clean, not too expensive (it is in the centre of Paris).I would come backin this hotel. I have been satisfied.

L'hôtel est idéalement placé, en plein coeur de Paris, et de ses monuments. On est à 2 pas du Louvre, donc du jardin des Tuileries et des Champs Elysées. A 3 pas de l'Opéra et du musée d'Orsay. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. La chambre était propre, très correct, mais comme 2 ou 3 autres apparement, elle était sans fenêtre, ce qui peut surprendre. Mais avec la clim, les nuits ont été douces et calmes. C'est un petit désagrément face à l'avantage d'être au centre de Paris. Je recommande très sincèrement cet hôtel.

die Zimmer sind Zweckmässig , jedoch wars das auch schon. Das Bett bzw. sogar der Überzug waren alles andere als frisch / sauber. Im Badezimmer konnte man sich als normal gebauter Mensch kaum bewegen. Das Frühstück ist für 10 € überbezahlt. So auch das Zimmer was für meine Begriffe ebenfalls völlig überteuert war. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war hingegen hervorstechend. Sehr netter Empfang und auch sehr hilfsbereit.

Séjour pour le boulot, 2 nuits, le personnel répond aux questions mais pourrait être plus souriant, certains se sont plaints du bruit du métro, moi j'ai déjà entendu pire dans des hotels plus chers..., propreté de la chambre OK, la robinetterie de la baignoire gouttait un peu mais pas gênant, insonorisation = comme les autres hotels, sans plus, petit déjeuner = correct, comme les autres hotels (boissons chaudes, jus d'orange, viennoiseries, pains, jambon, fromage...). Bref, un hotel abordable très bien placé.

La posizione e la pulizia sono ok. Avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. L'acqua calda spesso non c'era!!!
