Garden Elysee - Paryžius

I loved my stay at the Garden Elysee so much that I am taking the time to write my first review ever. I normally say in 4 or 5 star hotels without regard to price, but the foreign exchange rate and the recession caused me to use hotels.com to find a hotel. And what a find! The staff is absolutely wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfect. Near Eiffel Tower, near Champs Elysees. Steps from public transportation. The bathroom is 4 star quality. The room size is just fine - I didn't feel cramped at all during my 1 week stay. I would stay here again even when the economy is better.

The staff were courteous at all times in this well appointed but small Hotel very close to the Arc De Triomphe, a very nice and clean area of Paris too. Rooms were comfortable and modern, what you;d expect really. The staff helped us book the Moulin Rouge which was excellent and gave us ample travel tips for our short stay. Breakfast left a lot to be desired a nice continental selection, but anything more than a juice and a croissant was €22, €16 for Croissant and orange juice... outside on Avenue Kleber or towards the Trocadero expect to pay €10 for a larger selection.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay at The Hotel Garden Elysee. We would definately stay at The Garden Elysee again and highly recommend it to other travelers. We've traveled around the world but this was our first visit to Paris. The hotel is very charming, clean and conveniently located on a quiet side street just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower and Metro station. The rooms were modern, comfortable and fairly spacious with an in-room safe, flat screen tv, mini bar and assorted toiletries. The only thing lacking was an alarm clock, but we had a travel alarm clock with us so it was no big deal. Our room was in the front of the hotel overlooking the forecourt. We kept the window open to let in the nice breeze which also carried some street noise, but nothing that kept us awake. The lounge area and outdoor patio were very relaxing and provided a comfortable oasis for morning coffee or an evening drink. There were complimentary newspapers and magazines available in English, French and Spanish. All of the staff members spoke English and were extremely friendly and accomodating. Fernando, the Night Manager, was hilarious and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room rate didn't include breakfast as we prefer to eat somewhere different for each meal. The nearby cafe's were plentiful and reasonably priced. We did have the hotel's continental breakfast on the last day prior to our airport departure. It was tasty and convenient with a variety of cereals, pastries, juices, fruit, etc.

This is a great little hotel located close to the Arc de Triumphe. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. Although small, it had everything we needed.

We went for a romantic weekend break and wished we could have stayed. The hotel was in a side street and was very well presented. The staff were helpful, pleasant and friendly, the room was very comfortable.

Hotel does not feel safe. Problem with door. Keycard attached to a tassle. Water takes time to get hot. Heater is portable and can get hot so beware not to touch it if on. Surrounding area shops close early. Near Eiffel Tower and subway.

The front desk staff was pretty friendly and helpful, and fluent in English, although they politely listened to my butchered french. They were knowledgable with all metro lines, bus transportation, etc. This is a smaller hotel with nicely furnished rooms. Our bathroom was all new: shower, tiles, counters, etc. A bit small, but very clean and nice. During our stay, the elevator was out of service one night, and so we had to go up to the 6th floor by stairs. To some, perhaps this would have ruined the stay. To us, just a bit more walking after a long day of sightseeing.

It is a small treasure. quiet and comfy. great service. very polite. and the evening bartender, Pasquel ( sp.?) is a unique character. most friendly guy in Paris. loved it.

very clean and modern room, great grocery store across the street, coffee very pricey, very courteous staff.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the hotel. The room was great, the bathroom, too, with nice toiletries. Especially nice was the location in a courtyard. We could even leave the window open at night! The air conditioner was not functioning properly and they had maintenance people there. Very convenient and safe (but it has to be arranged beforehand) was the parking in the courtyard. They only have a few spaces. We had the continental breakfast, which was not too bad for Paris pricewise, it cost the same or more in the cafes in the area. The staff was very friendly, helpful and English speaking. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the Trocadero, 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower, the Metro is one block away.

This is a fine little hotel, located just off Ave Kleber that provides convenience in a tastefully remodeled setting. It is impeccably maintained, and although offering no restaurant services other than breakfast, is an ideal spot for both pleasure and business travellers. The staff was courteous, the hotel quiet, and the decor very contemporary. Overall, a great spot.

Our experience was excellent. This hotel sits mid-block and is extremely quite. There is a courtyard from which you enter the building with another behind that houses the restaurant. The metro station is a short 2 block walk, with the best the city has to offer in shopping and dining within easy walking distance. There is a grocery only three doors down.

Gute Lage

A decent hotel. However it did not meet our expectations given the pictures on the website and the price.
