Gallery Hotel - Londonas

The reason which I decided "The Gallery Hotel" is that some photoes ,specially lobby"and rouge, impressed me. The impresshion didn't betray my expectation. Their service was friendly and comfortable.

Nice Hotel, nice welcome. Pleasant surroundings. It was a shame my departure wasn't as pleasant due to bad attitude from different member of staff on front desk. Too busy to acknowledge that I was waiting and too important to help when free. I had a 1/2 hour to wait to check out - before I was even seen by him and no one else to go to. Could do with more than 1 person at reception. Rest of the staff, lovely, has a very warm feeling to it. Food basic, but satisfying. Agree with other comments on stand alone heater/air conditioner - but for me that added to the charm. Wonderful location sandwiched between museums and Underground station, both on the doorstep.

Despite the scaffolding on the front of the hotel, there were no disturbances in my hotel room, and the workers were quiet and respectful. Good breakfast. Small rooms as is typical in this area. Great location within a stone's throw from the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum. 15 minutes walk to Knightsbridge shopping district. Great local bus service. Good selection of local restaurants (from coffee houses to Italian and French restaurants) within 5 minute walk.

The Gallery Hotel is not a 4 star hotel. Someone did not rate this hotel correctly. It should be rated at 2 star at best.

The room was very clean and decorated charmingly, but it was an older facility. The heat was way too hot and maintenance was supposed to fix this, but they never did. Even with the window open, we were burning up. It was in a good location for Harrods and the V&A.

Gallery Hotel är ett mycket trevligt lite " gammaldags" hotell med typisk Londonkänsla. Lagom stort inrett i Viktoriansk stil, med trevlig personal. Lobbyn är mycket inbjudande med mängder av tavlor och rustika fåtöljer och pösiga soffor. Rummen är mysiga och har sängar med dekorativa överkast och gardiner. Badrum med badkar är ett stort + efter en lång dag i London. Läget är mycket bra. Gatan är lungn ändå nära t-bana och stora museér och små franska krogar. Frukost på hotellet kostar extra. Vi valde att äta på stan i stället och kan därför ej bedöma hotellets frukost. Kan rekommendera -Pauls- vid Souht Kensingtons t-bana som erbjuder ett utmärkt kaffe och läckra brödsorter.

This hotel has a great "genuine" atmosphere. The location is great and the neighborhood is great for museums, eating and shopping (Harrods is nearby). Sub is 5 min walk. We didn't get breakfast at the hotel but ate at Le Pain Quotidien which is nearby. Delicious. Bathroom was very clean. Great room service when we arrived around midnight. Only drawback was the somewhat filthy headboards on the bed and that the staff wasn't very well updated on the "touristy stuff".

Trevligt standardhotell i ett kvarter med många caféer och barer. Nära tunnelbana. Ambitionen att vara ett litet mer personligt hotell med en touch av brittiskt mondänt liv, drogs ner av att rum och badrum är ganska slitna om man börjar titta ï hörn och på detaljer. Men trots det helt ok och rent- Mer personligt än storhotellen. Trevligt bemötande i lobbyn. Och framförallt gillade jag läget. Superkvarter att bara flanera runt i.

Lille hyggeligt hotel. Atmosfære, typisk engelsk. Tæt på Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens og Picadilly line. Pub og restauranter lige om hjørnet. Hvad mere kan man forlange?
