Clean comfortable room at a reasonable price, but no breakfast. Management should serve toast, juice, rolls/doughnuts, cereal etc. Something, anything!! Within walking distance from Disneyland and the Anaheim Gardenwalk/Shops & Restaurants.

I've stayed at the JR before for conventions at the Anaheim Convention Center. It's right next door. Not a great area for restaurants. The JR Cafe is closed for renovations. It's about a 10 minute walk down to a mall with several more upscale restaurants, skip Bubba Gump unless you like everything fried to death and served up by terminally cheerful twenty-somethings.

This hotel isn't the most attractive from the outside, but the rooms were great. Knew someone staying in the Sheraton behind us for double the price we paid and our rooms were comparable. The customer service was fantastic as well. Front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating for all of our requests. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else needing a room convenient to the convention center and/or disney.

The staff was very nice and the location to Disneyland was great. However a few too many bugs in the room for our taste

We enjoyed our stay at the Jolly Roger.. and it was close to Disneyland!

Since we were staying a week, we asked to have a room with a view. The room was huge and very comfortable. This hotel is one of the older ones in the area, but they keep the grounds, pool, laundry, lobby clean and in great condition. Highly recommend since you're not really in the room that long..you're at one of the local attractions. Spent time at D-Land, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm..great location.

If you're looking for fancy, then pay the big bucks at the Hyatt or Hilton. This hotel was very clean, very comfortable and a great value. The location was convenient. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed late checkout on Sunday (4 p.m.) for a very small additional fee. We arrived late in the evening on our first night and were greeted by a very pleasant front desk clerk who called us moments after we walked into our room to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction! We would DEFINITELY stay here again. My only suggestion for improvement would be a small continental breakfast as the Jolly Roger Restaurant was not open for business.

My daughter and I just returned from a six night stay. We got a very good rate on this site for the Jolly Roger, and it was very good for what we paid. When we first arrived, I was a little nervous, as the outside area of the hotel needs a facelift. However, the room large, clean, and fairly comfortable. The only problem would be the air conditioning, which could either be on or off, but was not connected to any thermostat. It was a little loud. We had a problem with the fridge we rented, but that was corrected promptly. We didn't have the opportunity to use the pool, but I did notice that towels were provided at the pool. The walk to Disney parks was about 15-20 minutes room to gate. Not too bad, but a little long after a full day at the parks. Overall, the hotel was a good value, convenient, and we were satisfied.

ok my family and i are HUGE DISNEY FANs!!! so when i booked this hotel i was just expecting average...but let me tell you this place was great...the rooms have been remodeled and the people who work there are so friendly. we got a bottom floor and we never hurd the people above us. Also the walk wasnt bad at all. it was worth getting a cheeper room and walking a little farther...no big deal to us. i would really come back here honestly! try it!

If you want a hotel that's right next to the Anaheim Convention Center, with a clean room, no frills, then pick this place. It gets the job done, but don't expect anything fancy.

This room was much nicer than I expected. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The proximity to the convention center was excellent. It took us about 5 minutes to walk there. Disneyland is also close by. With a short walk you will be in the parking lot for disneyland where you can take the shuttle into the park. I would recommend this hotel.

The room was recently remodeled and looked nice. It was also clean, but was very cramped for a family of four. The on-site restaurant is convienent, and it is about a 10-minute walk to Disneyland. I will probably not stay there again, because there are many other choices nearby that cost the same or less.
