this hotel was a glorified motel 6. The bed and pillows were great, but everything else was a 40 per night hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. If this hotel was listed as a 2 star it would have been a great experiance.

We stayed during a weekend and I found it odd that the lobby was roped off for floor waxing each day. Also, a small thing, but they advertise a free chocolate chip cookie on check-in. I was traveling with 36 people, none of us received a cookie and when we asked for one we were told our cookies were all given to one member checking in earlier. (That person never received cookies either) Unimportant unless you are having a chocolate craving! All in all it gave us a place to rest our tired heads at the end of the day.

For the price paid per night, this hotel had a horrible musty oder.

Hotel wasn't bad. Incidentals were: 1. Dirty dishes on the outside of my door first day arrived at my room. I called to the desk, no one came up as they promised, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it taken care of. 2.In my room there was an envelope with someone else's name on it welcoming them. I never got one:).

Hotel was nice. Parking was a problem in the evening and you had to walk a couple of blocks to get to the hotel. Also there is road construction near the hotel which as the major entrace blocked off. The hotel itself was very nice and reasonable priced.

The rooms are great, and I can't say a bad thing about the actual space you live in. That being said, the construction did make it a bit of a challenge to find, and the auxillary parking lot was a bit of a haul. If you book here, also note, there is a doubletree just across the main street from here, which is not the same property.

Our stay at the Doubletree was only for 2 days but I was really impressed. Usually when you look at the pictures for a place you see something gorgeous but when you get there it is run down and not as nice as you first had imagined. This was not true in this case, the picture looked exactly like our room. It was very clean and we even got warm chocolate chip cookies upon checking in.The hotel staff was also very nice and helpful when we needed it. The only real bad part of the hotel was the construction going on at the time. They were building a great big tower of condos on the other side of the parking lot so some of the street was blocked off. The problem it could present in the future is being cowded and not enough parking for the tennants as well as the hotel guests.

I thought it was overpriced. but the free parking, bed and lake view was great. shower was a little small. Liked how the hotel wasnt in a busy place. the cookie was great!

The hotel has a lot of construction surrounding it, also the main problem was the rooms had a damp musky smell about them, I asked other guests and they agreed with me, food was just okay, not much of a restraunt, or bar area (boring)not worth the price of the room.

Internet isn't free. It's $7.95 in the rooms per 24 hours. I believe there's free wireless down in the lobby. My room had a slight smell in it. It wasn't too bad...just a little bit. Seems a little expensive. Honestly, I prefer Marriott.

I stayed at the Doubletree Club for two nights. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. And the room was just beautiful. The maid service even cleaned up all the clothes we had everywhere and folded them. And everyone was extrememly nice. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.

the bed and room service is the best part to this hotel. the food was great and the bedding was heavanly. on the bad note there was no microwave to warm food for my son. the products given to you were outstanding also (shampoo, soap, face wash, and cream.) it was also suprising to recieve a cookie for each guest, it was really welcoming.

I just want to comment on the customer service, see i felt like i wasn't welcome now don't get me wrong i love the hotel, the view. Went I checked in the 2 people that were there did not seem very informetive, i had to ask the guy were was my room, and the elevators.

Nice quiet location, great room and quality. Few points can improve coffee/tea packets not replaced, ice m/c far on 2nd floor

This hotel was okay but, I did not get a room service menu in my room and it seemed that every other guest in the hotel that I asked did. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was quite nice and located in a central area. Unfortunately, access was difficult, as was parking due to new construcion adjacent to the facility. Could hear the people in the next room easily thru the connecting door. That was not pleasant at 1 AM in the morning.

My boyfriend and I decided to get away for the weekend and stay at this hotel because it was recommended to us by a friend. Saturday night there was a party in the room across from us. I called the front desk numerous times because it was EXTREMELY LOUD, however I was told that "they were doing what they could." I did not get a good night's sleep AT ALL. It took hours for hotel staff to get the partygoers to calm down and by that time it ws close to 3 o'clock in the morning. I am extremely disappointed in the way the hotel staff handled the situation and even more disappointed in myself for not demanding a full refund.

water pipe noise toilet was real noisy room wasnt clean and the staff was really rude!! I would never stay here again!!!

We requested the front desk three (3) times to fix the wall jack for online connection. Never fixed.

Outstanding and great customer service.Yummy warm cookies!

If you need to getaway the Double Tree Hotel CLUB is what you need. The service was excellent and courteous. Upon check-in the clerk gives you a warm chocolate chip cookie. It was delicious! The room was spacious and had everything I needed. I would definitely go back for another Romantic getaway. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced.

The only problem I had was returning from dinner and late movie and having no parking near the hotel. We had to park a distance from the hotel.

there were two things that were bad during the stay. On staurday night there was a party down stairs and the music sounded lik it was in the room. the party went on until midnight. Also, our room was right next to the gym and at 6 am people started their work outs. The noise woke us up. other than those two things, it was a great hotel.

I needed to be picked up at 10:45 and called at that time. I was told the shuttle guy clocked out already and I said it wasn't 11pm yet. By the time the manager got on he said it was 11pm, and my watch said 10:52. He said I was wrong. Then, I asked what we can do to work this out and he said, he'd call the shuttle guy. When he did he found out he was leaving the airport with a passenger. He basically lied that the shuttle guy had clocked out and called me a liar that it was 11pm. He was going to argue with me on the phone until I told him I wasn't going to argue and what could we do to fix it. Then, and only then, did he try to become proactive. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, nor recommend it.
