Renaissance Orlando Resort At SeaWorld - Orlandas

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the Orlando area. The only thing that bothered me during our stay was our server at dinner. He was not personable and made it seemed like we were bothering him anytime we asked him for something. On the other hand, the service at the pool area was remarkable, they were so nice and friendly and were very willing to do anything to make you comfortable. Let's just say we had a better time at the hotel than we did at Seaworld!

great location, can walk to Sea World!

If you plan to visit Sea World this is a great place to stay. Very conveniently located across the street. Comfortable and staff is helpful. Only negative issue is with the advertizing calls to room guests that members of the hotel staff make.

This was an Outstanding Hotel. Loved the Starbucks in the hotel. They play a wonderful Ocean DVD throughout the hotel on flat screen TV's. We bought the DVD - it's so amazing. The breakfast buffet was terrific. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing that I would have liked would have been a free shuttle to the Disney Parks. We had to take public transportation to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney.

I loved everything about it. The only thing i would like to see is a free continental breakfast. I didnt even know you had to pay for that.

This was one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. Aside from the matress cover being stained, which i dont think it is the hotels fault but the house keeping. the should be more conscious of the next guest by removing anything that may disconfort them as it would the guest. Overall it was a very good experience. Aquatica and Seaworld right next door. It was great. The Hotels is Beautiful, I recommend a room facing the courtyard.

I did not think the hotel would be so good but it actually surprised me. The rooms were identical to the pictures shown. The rooms as well as bathromm and halls were very clean (and i am the one tha takes her own sheets and towels from home.) There was no bad smell and the pool and other amenities were very nice. To top this all there is a starbucks right there at the lobby. I have 2 little ones and they loved it as well. Room service is overpriced. i paid 10 and cents for a 14oz jug of milk and a glass of milk. It was actually $6 + $3 for delivery (wow!)

Beautiful grounds, including the awesome pool area,topiary garden and indoor atrium. Super location.Walk to Sea World!!The only Negative was poor soundproofing between rooms. We could hear the family feuds on both sides of our room!!

The hotel and staff were great. There is free transportation to Sea World if you don't feel like walking. Just wish we had more time to enjoy the place.

We would definately stay at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at Seaworld although we would request a room not so close to the elevators. Elevator noise all night long. We stayed in a room with a King and hide-a-way sofa. The sofa bed was not horrible, but definately not real comfortable either. The King bed was VERY comfortable and love the down pillows and comforter. We would get two queens next time around. Our only complaint was this: No bedding supplied with sofa bed anywhere in the room, we placed a call to housekeeping at 9:45pm to request bedding. They said we would have it within 30 minutes because they were so far behind. Placed call again at 11:30 because we'd not received it and were told that a manager would "be right up" with the bedding. Finally, my husband had to go to the front desk and stood there until someone came about 20 min. later. They brought sheets, one small, thin blanket and no pillows. Seriously, how difficult would it be to either 1) provide bedding in the closet for the sofa bed or 2) the front desk could ask at check-in if we will be using the sofa bed. It was very frustrating to be ready for bed and have to deal with this when it is a situation that could be avoided so easily. Also when housekeeping made up the sofa bed the next day, they put the blanket next to the fitted sheet the flat sheet on top of the blanket, so we had to remake the bed. The hotel was beautiful, the pool, tennis courts, basketball court were great. We enjoyed our stay, next time we will be certian to check the bedding situation at checkin. We would recommend this hotel.

great location and close to everything. across the street from sea world and we had a great view. only thing we didn't have was free internet in our room. had a great stay.

This hotel impressed us at every opportunity! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Bell and Valet service was outstanding. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The entire hotel decor is fresh and appealing. Every single staff person was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and helpful. There is a restaurant and Starbucks conveniently located in the beautiful, large atrium. The pool area is fantastic and provides food and beverages. The grounds are well kept and very pretty. The location is perfect, especially for SeaWorld (you can literally walk to the park). We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting the Orlando area.

The outside of the hotel doesn't look the best but the inside was beautiful as soon as you walked in. The staff was amazing. They have a restaurant with great food and they have a sushi bar! Transportation was no problem. SeaWorld was a parking lot away. The travel desk inside the hotel was an A+ (besides the long lines.) 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Disney. Shuttles available at all times. I booked 2 rooms and we were right next to each other. Super convenient. The rooms were nice and clean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I wish I was there now.

The hotel is amazing, beautiful, conveniently located. The staff goes beyond to make you stay a pleasant one. I certainly exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again without hesitation and would certainly encourage others to do so.

The hotel is perfectly located directly across from Sea World. The rooms were spacious. For the price we were very very pleased with this hotel. Highly recommend.

Wonderful accommodations and very convenient to Discovery Cove and Sea World.

Even though we were directly across from 4 busy elevators, there was little noise. Everyone was so nice. I was attending a medical show and the conference staff were great too.

The hotel was nice. Only $4 more a day for parking, valet was fast and curtious. Things that would have made the room better is a refrigerator and a microwave. There was a little cooler box that looks like a refrigerator and did not get cold at all. Definitly request one.

Our party included a 2mo old a 3yo both with their own beds that had to be set up and three adults. The room had enough room for all of us and probably three more pack-n-plays. The bathroom had a large counter with double sinks. They left a Shamu toy on the tub just waiting for my 3yo. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and timely. Our next trip to Sea World Orlando will definately include this hotel!

Everything was great, except the $12-16 a day parking.

Recently stayed at this hotel the first week of July. Upon arrival, learned that you have to pay $12 a day for parking at the hotel, even if you are staying there! Also, the room was a little small and the decor was outdated. There was hard green couch and matching chair in the room with very out of date pillows and coverings. The TV was also pretty small for a "4" star hotel. The bathroom did NOT have a whirlpool tub, and didnt even have a fan. You could also bust your butt on the faux marble tile flooring in the bathroom if you arent careful. Location is good, only 10 minute walk to Seaworld.

WE EMAILED THE HOTEL BEFORE WE ARRIVED, TO REQUEST A HIGH FLOOR, AWAY FROM THE ELEVATORS. AND OVERLOOKING SEAWORLD. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE HAD. THE VIEW WAS AWESOME!! THE POOL AREA AT THE HOTEL IS THE BEST IN ORLANDO, AND AS WE HAVE VISITED ORLANDO TWELVE TIMES, WE BOTH AGREE THAT IT HAS EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR A MOST RELAXING HOLIDAY. WHILE WE WERE SUNBATHING A MEMBER OF STAFF CAME AROUND EVERY DAY WITH COLD FLANNELS WHICH WAS APPECIATED AFTER THE HOT SUN. THE ROOMS SEEM BASIC, I DONT LIKE THE COLOUR SCHEME, THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT IT AS IT WAS BEFORE THEIR RE-FURBISHMENT. THE DECOR IS MORE CONTEMPORY, AND THE FURNITURE IS QUITE DAGGY, ALTHOUGH THE ROOMS WERE VERY SPACIOUS AND THE BED WAS A MARSHMALLOW, THE PILLOWS WERE LIKE SLEEPING ON AIR, SO COMFORTABLE, WE WENT AND BOUGHT TWO TO TAKE HOME!!

It was a good hotel but did not think that it was a 4 star hotel.

I can't believe a hotel of their stature charge $12.00 a day plus tax to park and it wouldn't be so bad if they let you now ahead of time they were charging you that.

Loved the hotel loved the Employees all helpful beyond expectations especially my Bartender Mike!!

The hotel is very nice and convenient to Sea World and Aquatica, but it could've been better. For one, I didn't feel like it was that family-friendly. There were a couple of restaurants, but nothing that tailored to families. The prices were hotel prices for food, so that means it was overpriced....$12 for a hamburger is a little much. I guess I'm used to the Disney resort hotels where you can take the kids to eat in the hotel where there's real food without breaking the bank. The room was nice a spacious, but there was only one vent in the entire room and if you weren't near the vent, you were hot. We turned the A/C down to 68 and it still was not that cool. All in all, I'd give it a 10 for looks, but as far as being family friendly, I'd give it a 6. Oh and you have to pay $12 a day for parking as a guest of the hotel. I thought that was a little pricey.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. I couldn't complain about a thing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and attentive... One of the best.

Everything about this hotel was great. The "Tiki bar" and reastraunts were a little over priced but the food and drinks were good. My 9 year old, my wife and i had a blast at Sea World and Aquatica. Over all I give this hoter/Resort an A- for Resorts.

We enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance. it was a nice room and my daughter loved the Shamu bath toy that was in the room when we got there. The only thing I didn't like was that the "refrigerator" was a cooler which was disappointing for such a nice hotel.

This has to be the strangest hotel I've ever stayed at. Basically the hotel is an enormous steel structure with window dressing. The atrium is large, visuallly interesting and, along with glass interior elevators, very appealing for the kids. The only way to describe the room is "surreal" (in a bad way). Very large concrete room with virtually no furnishings. Other then desk, beds, and two small chairs, there was only one other piece of furniture with television atop and three small desk size drawers and a nonfunctioning fridge and safe inside. It was no better than an oversized dorm room. Aside from two framed "paintings," the walls were completely bare. Not comofrtable in the least. A giant echo chamber. This is by no means a "4 star" hotel. Clean? Generally yes (for its age). Service? Terrible. Young, unkempt, unknowledgable staff. For some reason mandatory charge for parking/valet ($12 and $16 respectively). I really don't get how this place obtaine the Renaissance name. Move on to much better quality for the price elsewhere in an intermediate level hotel that cares about its guests' comfort.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, AND GREAT LOCATION IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEAWORLD, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, ROOMS ARE SUPER CONFORTABLE AND THE ATRIUM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOTEL IS BREATHTAKING. THE HOTEL STAF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. DEFINITIVELY A KEEPER!!

I enjoyed the location and closeness to I drive. I called down and they brought up a crib right away. Everything was very clean and my kids loved the baby Shamu toy in the bathroom. My husband and I also received champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on Valentines Day complementary. It was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. We had an equal touch of romance and family fun, which is hard to balance but managed to happen at the Renaissance.
