Le Meridien Gallia - Milanas

Hotel had great location and good price. Room was big but outdated and carpet was faded and had smelled smokey. Didn't feel fresh and clean. Hotel has all the potential to be a great hotel. big rooms, nice baths. Service was very good.

If you want the convenience of being near the train station and a business friendly hotel- this hotel is for you. It is just across the street from the central station. It is an easy 30 minute walk to the Duomo or city centre. Not many good trattoria options near the hotel within short walking distance. Large spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Had a wonderful dinner and great service in the hotel restaurant. Am accustomed to paying up at hotel bars so didn't think price for a glass of wine or cocktail was out of line at all but thought 5 euro for a single shot espresso was a bit outrageous.

This hotel is literally a stone's throw from the train station. Which is great for convenient travel in and out of the city without having to catch a cab or anything to your hotel. It's a short walk to the best shopping in Milan - Buenos Aires. The trendy but not expensive area. It's also a short walk to a street where all the happy hours take place. It's not convenient for going out on the town, or being in the central area. There is a metro stop across the street though, and cabs are aplenty. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. It's not modern, but it is well maintained and nice. The staff was extremely helpful and answered a mountain of questions for me about the area and to-do's, etc. Great hotel for the money!

This is a beautiful, old, elegant hotel, with outstanding service, antiques furnished in huge rooms, marble bathrooms, and a perfect location across the street from Milano Centrale train station. It is now a Starwood property...luxury and elegance.

Hotel staff not friendly and welcoming. This was my first hotel in Italy and it was very disappointing. I found myself needing to stay in the room after check out time and they did allow this. The breakfast was not very tasty and way over prices.

This is a classic old european hotel. The rooms were clearly new decades ago and over the past 10 years the rooms have been renovated bit by bit. Similar to most art deco hotels around europe. Clean with character, not enough electrical outlets, etc. But if the walls could talk, they would have a lot to say. The service is accomodating. I do not recommend eating in the hotel. Great lobby, good little bar. I would recommend this hotel, with the understanding that there are better places to stay in Milan, but for the price, absolutely no real complaints.

Well located, great staff, clean and comfortable. Rooms could do with a little touching up but overall very happy with stay and would definatley stay here next time I go to Milan.

We were using Milan as a base for train travel to several others cities to the north and south, so this hotel's location, right next to the train station, was incredibly convenient. One downside is that the rest of the area around the train station isn't so interesting or nice (mostly cheap food options, and there do tend to be sketchy characters hanging around outside the station), but several metro lines go through there as well, so it's easy to get anywhere. The Gallia staff was really helpful, and the hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. The first night we arrived really late and didn't think it was safe to explore, so we ordered outrageously expensive, mediocre, room service. Avoid that, and your stay here will be great.

The hotel was perfect! We were able to check-in early, get a great room, had excellent concierge service, and the food was fantastic (but expensive). Would recommend highly and would definitely stay there again when we return to Milan.

Man würde erwarten, dass in einen Doppelzimmer zwei Paar Hausschuhe vorhanden sind (statt nur eines), dass Gläser abgewaschen und nicht erst rd. 48 Stunden später wieder am Platz stehen, dass man nicht nicht mehr als 10 Minuten darauf warten muss, dass bei der Abreise das Gepäck vom Zimmer geholt wird, usw. usf.

Non tornerò più. La struttura è vecchia e le camere sono a mio avviso da rifare.

Veggene på romme var ikke rene, gardinene var skitne, badekaret var heller ikke noe spes rent. Til å være en 5 stjernes hotell så er rensligheten verre enn på en 3 stjerners. Bildene av rommet stemte ikke overens med rommet vi fikk i det hele tatt, ingenting lignet... På hjemmesiden står det at hotellet ligger kun 2 km fra centrum, men det stemmer ikke i det hele tatt!!! Minst 4 km! Men ok at trikk/buss og t-bane gikk rett ved og til nesten ingen pris. Men alt i alt er dette hotell jeg aldri vil bruke igjen eller vil anbefale til noen andre.. Sikkert ok hvis man skal henge rundt central stasjon med alle andre narkomaner som er å se/finne rett utenfor hotellet.....

War sehr geräumig und klassisch eingerichtet. Wir hatten zum Glück zwei Zimmer bekommen mit zwei Betten und Couch. Und ein grosses Balkon mit schöner Sicht auf die Piazza

Come strutura è molto bello, pero le camera sono lasciate andare un po, il bagno è pieno di calcare su i rubineti e la carta sui muri sta stacando. Pero per il raporto prezzo/servizio e acetabile!!
